She probably didn’t like her dad and was quick to put the blame on him because he was probably the only person in her life that tried to keep her accountable and call her out on her BS.
Exactly 🤦🏽♀️
I agree
Right because he wasn’t trying to cover everything up like the mom. The mom should have faced charges to for obstruction and lying to the police
Exactly!
I've been looking for this. Absolutely yes, George had faults but he at least held Casey responsible for her bs.
Cindy covering up for Casey is part of the reason she's so messed up. She doesn't let her daughter take any accountability for her actions including hurting their grandchild. Such a shame.
EXACTLY and she was the one who made her keep the baby!!!
This is why I hated the grandma just as much as Casey
@@abbywhite1743 ditto
@@rinNroses Such a shame because if they let Casey just do as she wished with her own body and her own daughter then that little child would have been adopted by a family that truly wanted her.
Also the fact that they forced Casey to not give her baby up for adoption when Casey knew she was unstable.
I honestly feel so bad for George. He's lost his granddaughter, his wife refuses to accept the fact that Casey should be held responsible, his daughter accuses him of molesting her, Casey's team blames him for her death etc. and he is still not allowed to show emotion during this trial. Not to mention the fact that he was previously suicidal and his daughter is basically set free.
me too i feel so sad for him i pray that he finds peace
This Story is so sad RIP The Little baby💔
The only thing that makes me happy is that the taxpayers don't have to pay for this evil beotch's existence (though that trial was probably close in cost to keeping someone behind bars for 20 years.

For real? I didn’t know that.
If that was my daughter, I would be absolutely devastated but you can bet I’d go to the ends of the Earth to find her. And I don’t even plan on having children ever
In the court of public opinion sure but that wouldn't be considered evidence in a court of law.
I know right- it's real hard to have genuine empathy for her..
The fact she’s not locked up forever and is now trying to be “a private investigator” makes me feel so ill
She also claimed that she wanted another child, too. I almost threw up when I saw that in the news. She should be in jail and that fact that she’s not is such a sad day for justice for her daughter.

The only thing that Casey Anthony was ever honest about was the fact that she wasn't ready to be a mom.
Imagine what could've been if she just could've given the baby up for adoption like she wanted.
@@leongeds1397 she could have though. The only thing that would have stood in her way for a bit is her parents petitioning for custody. But she wanted to party and live on her parents’ dime without taking care of the child or leaving her in the care of people who loved Caylee.
But she was an adult, she could have put the Caylee up for adoption if she had wanted to, if she cared enough to. Nobody actually forced her to keep the baby, she did what she wanted to anyways and her parents “forbidding” her from doing whatever was futile.

I agree, her parents should allow the poor baby gilr to be adopted and love elsewhere. 😥😭

After this, they made “Caylee's Law”, which is the unofficial name for the bills passed in several U.S. states that make it a felony for a parent or legal guardian to fail to report a missing child.

Her first day at school, every friend she could've made, every place she could've traveled to, every drawing she could've made, every game she could've played is all dust in the wind. There was so much out there in this world she could've experienced if she were still here with us, and the people who loved her have to bear the pain of that loss every day. RIP Caylee. This seemed like a really easy case. She was constantly getting caught up in her lies. The fact she's walking around free and doesn't even care her daughter died, amazes me. The justice system really failed Caylee.
Not to mention that she stole a friend's credit card and used it... she's a thief.
Actually the justice system worked properly. They went for a charge that they couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt. The prosecutor failed at his job and therefore failed Caylee. The Justice system however, worked perfectly.
I feel like we've seen so many of these cases in this series, from LaVena Johnson, Rebecca Zahau, Leonard from Australia, etc. It's so incredibly infuriating.
100% so sad.
@@daniellestamets3765 the system worked as intended but still failed Caylee, there a lot of reasons for reform the justice system and this is one of the reasons. People are in prison for life for non violent crimes or in prison with zero physical evidence. This system is flawed.

It’s Florida man lol. I swear. Like w the George Zimmerman case... that man was guilty too. But for some reason jury’s in Florida don’t seem to be capable or something idk

They need to reopen this case
The worst part is that, she was going to put Caylee up for adoption but her parents pressured her to keep her. Now she's dead. Some people just should not have children
Parents should stop putting pressure on their kids
The parents were the worst.
This is what I thought as well, they definitely share some of the responsibility for the tragedy.
well i don’t think that is the worst thing😳
She could have given the child to it's grandparents, they would hae raised her.
Caylee would've been 18 years old by now, almost the same age as when Casey had her. That is insane.

Beautifully said. Don't you think we all understand, especially this year?
i believe when casey said the nanny "zanny" took cayley and will never give her back, she's basically telling everyone she overdose cayley with xanax and it killed her, which technically took her away forever
Exactly and then when she told cops xanny was a 10 probably meant a 10 milligram Xanax pill imo
@@stellacruellathere is no such thing as a 10 mg Xanax pill.
@@AllAmericanChick903 ok not a single pill but still 10 mg of xan
agree because she used xanny as her nanny.😡
While this isn't exactly true, it has been speculated that Casey chose the name Zanny for her imaginary nanny after repeatedly giving her daughter Xanax so she could go clubbing at night, and be assured her daughter wouldn't wake up scared and needing her.
Her mother aggravated me the most. She was afraid of confronting her own daughter the kids entire life.
Agreed
The fact that they threw her a graduation party after they found out she dropped out! If she was gunna call the cops, they should've done so before cleaning the car. Sounds like they made sure to clean any evidence
To much talking
It sounds like her parents enabled her and how did they never know anything about their daughter. My mom was this way with me, it was neglect. It was easier for the parents to not know then deal with their child’s issues
@@baileysadler5212 Sounds like they knew and covered up for her her entire life. *NO* accountability. Just that this time, it was too big. The dad was a cop. They knew what they were doing.
Does anyone else remember the SMIRK?! When they announced "not guilty" Casey literally smirked. It was 10 years ago, but I remember very vividly the look on her face and how violently angry it made me.
i was only 11 when this happened, and even i DISTINCTLY remember that smirk. it was absolutely horrifying, and i can’t believe casey is still free.
Yup
That smirk was so creepy when I saw it, and I bet she smirked because she new she got away with it.
Duping delight.
Yes!!!! I do. Still violently angry. 😡😡😡
I'm sorry but the mom is just as bad as her daughter like you're literally covering up for someone who obviously killed your grandaughter
Totally- I mean these parents never held Casey accountable for anything, clearly.
Cindy Watts: Hold my peanut ice-cream
Don't apologize. That's a given. I have two girls and one boy and so help me they know their life will be worse with me then if they got arrested. Something I would not tolerate. They are adults but they remember.
@@indigobrooklyn1234 I don’t think she was actually apologizing- not sure if the commenter is Canadian, but as a Canadian we say “I’m sorry” to mean a lot of things. In this case probably “I’m sorry, but” = “this needs to be said”.
Facts
One of my favorite things about this channel is that Bailey doesn’t do that thing where she tries to be overly respectful when expressing her opinion about wanting the worst for objectively horrible people.
They kept trying to blame George cause George was the only one that tried to make Casey take responsibility and I believe he was disciplinary. I was sickened but the conviction, she killed that baby.
I really hated how they did him.. I feel like IF anyone was to help her it would've been mom. Not dad.
It was an easy scape goat. He was the only one who showed true suffering and tried to end it. They probably used that to build a case against him or something
Yes she did.. and I don't think it was an accident or there would not have been duct tape around her mouth
@@amberparker9883 yeah I've never understood how that wasnt a clear indicator of foul play like.. why duct tape her mouth if it was an accident
I hate that the lawyer made the jury think that George molested Casey at a young age! I saw the look on George's face. He wanted to punch the lawyer in the face!
Even when her parents found out that she didn’t graduate they still threw her a graduation party. She never got held responsible for anything
They didn’t know she was failing
@@tarynkosmerl5290 who cares??? you have to hold your children accountable. ESPECIALLY IN THE SITUATIONS THIS MONSTER PUT THEM THROUGH!!!
@@tarynkosmerl5290 I thought the same, it’s pretty obvious they were not aware of that. However, it is weird that they never tried to like, get in touch with the school to check dates of graduation, documents, something... but then again, their Daugher really tried to keep them out so
They can’t know everything that she’s doing every second of the day!
Yeah, but that didn't make her into what she was. Honestly she probably would have been better at lying and navigating the world if they hadn't covered for her all the time. Most people that are like Casey (and there are a _lot_ of them) aren't so easy to spot.
This woman is walking around free..... this kills me.
Try living close to it. Try looking into the heartbroken eyes of the grandparents. You would never see that pain in monster Casey's eyes. Try searching for her around rattlesnakes, in swamps with alligators. Been there, done all of this. I will never ever forget. It will break my heart until the day I die, if there is never justice for Caylee.

Privilege baby. Privilege. White privilege.
This is why it annoys me when someone says they’re considering adoption or abortion and people try to change their mind or talk them out of it! Poor baby still could’ve been here. And her mom needs to wake up. Sounds like she’s always let her get away with everything and now she can’t come to terms with the fact that she ended up the way she did.
Again, that could be a lie. Stop trying to spread your political jargon over here
Everyone: Casey killed her daughter r
Casey: but fake daddy issues
The jury: ok innocent
They need to charge her at the federal level

Have you heard she wants to open her own investigation company...how ironic can you actually get x
Is it possible the jury was bought? I just don't understand how she got away it.
@@tracyison2289 I bet it was the mom Cindy. She was the one insisting Casey stay out of jail. She already threw $1million to keep her out.
I feel like Casey blamed her father because he was the only one of the family that didn’t really believe her.
My thoughts exactly.. poor guy 😩
Because she wanted to save her own skin
He was the only one not defending her so ofc, in her twisted brain, she decided to target him for everything. Disgusting human being she is

Literally
Casey changed her story every time she was caught in a lie like it was no problem. Apparently, it wasn't a problem for her. She also claims her brother molested her, as well as her father. Yet, she stays in the family home longer than most people. Naming her daughter Caylee. Cay because of Casey, lee because of her brother, Lee. Why would you let your father watch your daughter, and live there that old with your daughter, and name your daughter after your brother if they molested you?
Unless incestual relationship
"I don't know why her parents liked her so much.." lol underappreciated quote.
Exactly. She was a spoiled brat.
The fact that she is literally making a documentary about her daughters death and her side of the story makes me want to rip my eyelashes out one by one

I really thought after seeing the documentary on peacock, people would have a whole new understanding of Casey, the case, her family, and not fall for the whole, "she killed her daughter to go out". Some things are possible, but not that garbage.
The only thing I could ever hold against the parents is adoption shaming casey.
I agree. It’s kinda sad some parents do this, not knowing what’s going on deep inside their kids brain. Some people just shouldn’t have kids, and I think Casey realized she didn’t even want to be a mom. But felt a lot of pressure from her family. Giving that kid up for adoption would have been the best thing in the world. Might not have saved Casey, but would have saved the child.
And that’s probably why Casey’s mother went off the rails and just thought of excuses for her. She probably had a lot of guilt making her have that child when she knew Casey didn’t want it to begin with. I’m not condoning anyone in that family’s behavior but I think that mom carried a lot more guilt then they were all willing to admit.
Caitlin Montgomery I agree. I feel both parents might feel guilty for the reason that they had a lot to do with why Casey is the way she is for example her not graduating but still having a grad party so the family wouldn’t question anything. Her parents raised a monster and that poor baby had to pay. It’s heart breaking
For real. No excuses for Casey, but she knew she wasn’t cut out for motherhood. Her parents should’ve seen that in her behavior, but it seems like they were big time enablers of her. It takes a big scenario for enablers to realize their “help” is only hurting. It’s beyond unfortunate Kaylee was the victim of Casey’s inability to grow up.
Caylee would have had a much better chance.

Her parents forced her to keep the baby that’s crazy
Million dollar comment.
@@edwardcullendrinkingthediv5127 well why did she not use protection?
Rewatching this after watching the Casey Anthony documentary and no surprise she changed her story AGAIN! Caylee needs justice... Why hasn't there been a retrial?!
The only CONSISTENT thing about Casey Anthony is that she’s never had a consistent story. To this day, her story about Caylee’s death always changes 🤬

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yup, she lied even when it didn’t benefit her at all. Pathological. The one thing that made me want to reach through the TV screen and slap her was in a prison. Her parents were visiting her in jail and the mother said someone had said Cayley is dead. Casey sarcastically replied “SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!!”
It was the investigators job to find out how and who killed Caylee. You concluded without evidence that Casey killed her daughter in some way. Explain your evidence. Everything reported by the media turned out to be false except for the fact the child was dead.
how she wasn’t found guilty in beyond me, she could have written “i killed my kid” on her head and she still would have gotten away with it
The jurors did an interview explaining why the said not guilty. It’s interesting you should read it.
@@rylee1519 where can I watch this interview?
@@vanessasomerville9295 I read in article! I can’t remember which one but just look up jury for the case interview on google
They went for the death penalty if they didn't she probably would have been convicted.
@@kaylaa8092 Oh is that why?
I thought even though the death penalty is on the table jurors can recommend a life sentence, is that wrong?
It’s a shame she wasn’t ‘allowed’ to put Caylee up for adoption. That poor baby could have been alive, well and loved.
Rip little one ❤️
That's why I think the grandma was so adamant to support Casey. Possible guilt from forcing her daughter to keep a baby she didn't want. 🤦♀️
Yep. Exactly. I never knew that detail of the story.
Totally 💯
It's a shame that she didn't take responsibility for her own choices.
There was no justice for that poor little girl, just sad 😔 R.I.P little Angel 👼
I think she saw her daughter as a burden in her “young and fun” lifestyle that she was trying to live, killed her because she didn’t see her daughter as a living creature and then made up the story about the “nanny” to help herself believe that she didn’t do anything wrong. That poor baby💔
But how. She's a treasure
The fact that she's out here free while there is a woman locked up for voting when she didn't even know she wasn't allowed to just makes my head spin....
and that's the true tea
What?! I need more info on this voter story!
@@ShesSoHuggable look up Crystal Mason.
All of this.
What happened? I'm out of the loop.
Cindy is the reason Casey is the way she is. Never holding her responsible for her actions and believing every one of her lies. SMH
This is an old cownt but I feel like Cindy knew about the daughter when she found the bag and jsut tried to help Casey cover up everything with the nanny kidnapping her and all the dumb things she said. Imagine cleaning out your daughter's car and finding out the bag you held contained your granddaughter and living with that.
@@harmonyoakes6386That’s sad but since humanity there has been people who have had to do as such
And dont forget her dad is the reason too

Florida got it wrong on this one. She was/is guilty. That sweet girl did not get the justice she deserved.
Well said 👏
Florida usually gets it wrong...
Florida is one big mess of a state
Going for the death penalty is what did it, if it were life in prison I think she would have been convicted.
Lol Florida has a bunch of crazy folks there im not surprised
I’m sorry but the second she said “Casey Anthony is not guilty” a Gucci guilty ad came on and I spat out my water 💀
I HAD THE EXACT SAME THING
Confirmation at its finest
“Did you miss me?” DESPERATELY.
RIGHT?!
SO MUCH!
I felt this in my soul.
Aghhhhhh soooo much!
So much!
We all know she’s 100% guilty but let’s just pretend for a second she isn’t. How could someone go on with their life and not demand answers about their daughters disappearance and death? I know I wouldn’t be able to sleep without knowing what happened or holding some one accountable. She’s a monster and should pay for what she did.
keep in mind she was forced to raise that child. her parents forbade her from giving it up for adoption. so if we're pretending she's not guilty, i can see someone in that situation not reacting the same way that a normal mother would. also keep in mind ppl respond to traumatic experiences in different ways. i still think she was guilty tho.
THIS!
It's not going to bring them back.
People are sick , remember she never wanted kids such a sick sick woman
It’s not a Bailey Sarian video if she doesn’t say “I’m laughing because... “ 😂
😂😂
So true 🤣🤣
I find it hilarious when she laughs at something then she says "I'm sorry, it's not funny" 😂😂😂
"I'm not laughing." 😂😂
🤣😍best part cause I’m laughing too.
This story is a great example of why you should NEVER force someone into parenthood. Being a parent is a choice no a consequence
She’s 100% guilty. And the fact her private investigation thing isn’t going to investigate Caylee’s death because she wants to “close that particular chapter of her life” reinforces my belief.
That woman is just sick!
Casey Anthony makes me sick. I don't understand why she wasn't jailed for atleast not reporting her daughter was missing for a month.
@@90helent right!!
She now lives with her defense lawyer and wants another child.
@@90helent I agree! The justice system is ridiculous! I will never understand.

The day they announced Casey Anthony "Not Guilty", was the day the ENTIRE justice system failed an innocent baby girl
One reason I’m not proud to say I’m from Florida 🤷🏻♀️
My heart goes to all the innocent children that where let down by the system ..
My dad and I were furious. I remember we watched the verdict live and my dad was *livid*
It’s because they tried her with the death penalty it’s always been a mistake in my eyes because there wasn’t enough evidence to say she did it or when or how and give her the death penalty . That’s why she got off.
@@Grayyy__ you might be on to something. It almost seems both sides did it purposely to get her off.

I feel horrible for Casey's father. This poor man knows his daughter killed his grandchild but his wife will do whatever to protect Casey.
He’s in a horrible position I have always felt so bad for him
The only reason they are still married is because he is a walking corpse.. years and years of “ your opinion doesn’t matter” “ Casey comes first “ “We aren’t going to argue over this” ( can you imagine how many times he heard that ) I’m sure he lived in a house where he was invisible. This case was definitely a horrible case. She deserved prison, she’s a monster. The other person who also is one of the most hated woman is Gabriel Fernandez’s “mom”. That child at least got justice.
her being tortured the way Gabriel was wouldn't even be an ounce of the justice she deserves
Maybe because she’s white lol but then again who knows
I guarantee Gabriel was more likely to get justice bc his mom wasn’t a conventionally attractive white woman sleeping with her lawyer 🙄

Parents when your teen daughter tells you she doesn’t want to be a mother in advance, believe her.
I've been saying this for years.
Right? Her parents are just as responsible for Caylee's death as Casey is in my humble opinion.
This 💯💯💯
This is what is always on my mind when I hear about this. She was already not a great person and she said she didn’t want the child. Now look what happened
When you are 18 you are an adult and every choice you make is your own. Stop making excuses.
Xannie the nanny makes so much sense now. I'm with the dad. Thinking about it nobody is actually named xannie.
No case has EVER made me as mad as this one. I remember the rage when I watched them announce that she’s innocent. The justice system failed Caylee and it’s sickening. Casey Anthony is a monster and it’s on sight with her. Tbh anyone involved in freeing her
I think when it comes to white single mothers, the justice system never cares and does what is right for the kids honestly.
@@mikaelamoore21 wdym for the kids? Literally this whole case was infuriating because the justice system did *NOT* do anything for the kid (Caylee) and this despicable lady was granted freedom, no accountability whatsoever for her actions
@@LiddoDippah that’s literally what I mean, so often you’ll see people walk after HORRIBLE crimes to kids, and the justice system often fails kids. Statistically speaking, there are 12 people in the entire world with an IQ under 10. How did they all end up on the same jury?
Because those jurors were pulled from Florida and depending on where they were located in fl, would honestly determine on how much IQ they truly hold. 🤦♀️ I'm from this state, and some people from here will honestly make you question the school systems.

We also need to Lower the human trafficking - esque prices of adoption. I’m 33 and going through a divorce. He walked out after a stillbirth. I still want to be a mother... but I owe as much in student loans as it is to adopt 😞
@@alyserotten1241 yes I agree, adoption fees are outrageous and classist. I don't get how it was thrown away but it ended up in the woods?? With her blanket next to her? The mom is just as guilty
There's a theory the poor little girl was some sort of ritualistic sacrifice, thus the cover-up and lies from the parents.
I was wondering that the whole time
I lived in Germany while this case was going on, still in school, and I talked to ALL MY FRIENDS about this. But they had no idea what I was talking about. So it’s nice, years later, to have likeminded people to talk to about this case.
"I dont know why her parents liked her so much" Perfectly said
Right?
I feel like the reason she put the blame on her dad was because her dad was the only one who held her accountable and the only one who actually spoke against her and she didn't like that so she felt the need to turn it against him and successfully did it.
Same.
Classic sociopathic (clinically, antisocial personality disorder) behavior. Ugh.
Forsureeeee
You missed the fact that on the duct tape across Caylee’s mouth, there was a heart sticker. There was a sheet of stickers in the nightstand of Casey’s room with one missing. I wrote a research paper on this case in high school. It makes my blood boil more than anything

And wasn’t Casey’s DNA on it? I think I remember that detail but could be wrong

Casey’s parents covered for Casey her entire life. Even when they knew she wasn’t really graduating, they still threw her a graduation party to save her the embarrassment of not graduating. When she couldn’t hold down a job, buy her own car, take care of her own kid, her parents would step in and take care of those things for her. They never let her suffer the consequences of her actions so it’s no surprise to me that even when they knew she killed her daughter they still stepped in and covered for her.
I’m sure Casey still treats them with the same ungrateful attitude she always has.
i wouldn’t say they it was just the mom she said the dad was against casey frequently
the dad didnt support her in the trial i dont think. especially after she blamed him but yes i agree that they couldve done better parenting her.
The parents are just as guilty as her tbh

That woman is vile. Why didn't she just run off and leave her baby with her parents?
she got attention and pity, thats why. She profitted off that baby somehow but didnt want to take care of her.
Hearing how the parents basically forced her to keep the baby, I think the parents and her were in a toxic relationship for a long time and maybe she was not sure if she would have been able to find a way to stand up to them and just leave like that
Even when she did and lived with her boyfriend, her mom came and dragged her home. And this time the concern was legit, but who knows how many times this mom dragged Casey from somewhere before because "she was concerned"
Her dad knew about it. Wouldve been the same outcome.
I feel like narcissists like Casey get off with having the title (“mother” in this case) and don’t want to give up the only power they have control over
Did you hear she is starting a PI firm? Yeah. >.>
How Casey Anthony was never convicted is beyond belief. That jury should be ashamed of themselves.
i’m confused on why the parents were like “it smells like a dead body” *opens trunk of car* *sees garbage bag* and thinks ‘i guess i’ll be throwing this out!’ like tell me how that makes sense
Right ?!
Doesn’t at all!
My think is when they picked it up.. like it must of felt a certian way.. like heavy. Your grandaughter is missing bag smells like dead body. Like shouldnt we just confirm its not our baby in there?!
Right?? And why didn’t the car pound worker call the police or something when they smelled dead body scent.
Seriously make that make sense pls
Her parent enabled her at every step. It’s sickening she did that to the child (pretty much obvious) . They should have let her adopt the baby out , or taken full custody
I thought the same thing & with all the lying her parents are doing why did they not get prosecuted? (Or did they?)
The grandparents should have sued for custody.
I mean, this is a woman who doesn't even know who the father of her baby is.
As far as I'm led to believe her mother had told Casey she was going to petition for custody the day before.
@@Neofrog should have before she was born, she didn’t ever want to be a mother. If you’re going to make someone not adopt out then they should have taken her.
