Anyone who works wherever it may be has my absolute respect. I have worked hard for 40 years and have earned both for my family and society via taxes. It's a shame the BBC and Gary Lineker don't have to work for their millions.

Spot on working in McDonalds. How many people are working in well-paid jobs where, academically, they ought to be stacking shelves? And how many people who spent years at University getting in debt - _are_ stacking shelves because their degrees are worthless? If you've got bills to pay, you do what you have to. Nothin' wrong with a humble job because we've all either been there or could end up there.

I agree, it doesn't matter as long as bills are paid. Too many snobs now I guess. I think they might change their minds soon, next few years are going to get a bit tougher on us all. We work where we can make money to survive at the end of the day

agree too.. had some crackin jobs in my time. but here I am working away in a warehouse.. as far as jobs go the pay is pretty reasonable.. however compared to other things Ive done I go home at the end of the day, once I leave work its out of my head, the stress level is almost non existent. not gona lie am hooked haha, only problem is as am reasonably intelligent and have a work ethic the cheeky buggers are sneaking in more responsibility haha... its more money I suppose haha doubt the stress level will ever compare to my old jobs

When in my 20's i lost my job and with rent and living bills to pay I needed a job quickly, took a job as a petrol station cashier, within a year I was the manager of the garage. I stayed there another 4 years before moving on to pastures new. Nothing wrong with taking a low paid job, you do what you have to do.

    You're right about police.
I'm almost 80. Three or so years ago, I suddenly found my wallet missing in a supermarket. As I'd just paid for some groceries, the loss was clearly limited to a 2-minute time slot at or around the checkout.
I asked the supermarket to check their cameras. They were 'too busy' right now - I'd need to call back later.
I reported the loss to the local police station - about 100 yards away. They were 'too busy' right now - I'd need to call back later.
I called on both 4 days later. Neither party had 'found time' to check 2 minutes of cctv footage.
Or to put it another way - none of them could be @rsed!
A week's pension down the tubes. If it hadn't been for my two sons, I'd have been up dung creek without propulsion that week.

I have been telling mum and dad not to worry and if visited to say ‘no thanks’ and close the door only for them to turn up while I was there myself working on her actual front door at the time and couldn’t close it on them! of all the times they could have turned up! I had to say no thanks and bye 3 times before he gave up asking if we have a TV while on my knees working on the door threshold with mum stood behind me I then turned round to mum and said that’s your first visit dealt with then 😂🤣 True story happened last week. Keep up the good work👍

Yea, I watch all your videos, I don't really know why because i ditched all TV nearly 25 years ago, but It's fun to laugh. I used to keep all the "love letters" from the tvl and had a massive leaver arch folder full of them, but i got board of that after some years and threw them away. I have never had a visit (touch wood, not that i would care) but i think that's because of 2 reasons. 1. I live in the god darn middle of nowhere, so there is no profit to sending someone out just for me, cost them more in petrol ^^. 2. My address is a "black hole", post might come in but nothing including information ever goes out.
Keep up the great content, You are doing work that someone must do to try and help the old'ns & young mothers who are mostly targeted by these bullies. Trying to re-educate/de-program the masses must seem like an impossible task, going against the money, power & years of indoctrination of the bbc. The only problem that I see is that the bbc is far too useful as the government's mouthpiece. I believe they will just move the licence into another tax or payment, like council tax etc. What will you do then?

How exactly do you, 'terrorise', a car? Vandalise, maybe, but cause, 'terror', to an inanimate object? A slight over-dramatisation of language in order to make the story out to be something more than it actually is, I fear. The motives behind this could be anything. The police, as expected, really aren't interested in such things. Unless they can literally, 'cop', someone committing crimes, they seem to lack the incentive to actually investigate such incidents, merely issuing crime numbers for insurance purposes and conveniently moving on. They expect the public at large to do the leg-work involved in such cases, and when that dries up, (as it invariably does), they lose all interest. The fact that the police get paid to do such things as part of their job is overlooked in favour of other less strenuous duties that don't involve having to make their presence felt in areas where these crimes are committed. Although, in this case, you'd think they'd make an exception considering the area it's in, but it seems even that doesn't motivate them, now.
The BBC only ever pay lip service to these announcements of claiming to do this, that or the other to, 'improve', services, presumably as a way of trying to justify the hiked-up licence fee amount. It's all words, of course, and they're just carry on doing what they've been doing, regardless. Any changes will be superficial at best with the extra income generated going toward bumping up salaries that are already grossly inflated above the average earning wage. Their definition of, 'value', obviously differs from the rest of us.
That woman claiming to be Madeline McCann is an obvious fraudster who needs dealing with by the appropriate authority. And, any monies they've scammed off various media outlets needs to be donated to a suitable charity. But, not one of the faceless corporate ones, of course. I can guarantee once the DNA tests come back and it shows she not who she claims to be, she'll suddenly disappear, taking her ill-gotten gains with her.
I think 1.3 million would be enough to set yourself up comfortably, however, what remains of the fortune would probably not allow to never having to work again, purely because of the cost of up-keep on everything you bought. If they wanted to be modest to the point where the only difference it makes to their lives would be the acceleration of attaining a house and a modest degree of comfort, then they could possibly scrape by. But even then, they would probably have to supplement it in some way, just to be on the safe side. 1.3 isn't an enormous amount, but it would help in ensuring a certain degree of comfort. Those stupid enough to waste it on exorbitant items would, of course, run out of funds in no time at all. And probably end up worse off than they were beforehand.

51 episodes of Songs of Praise @ £4 million is £78,432.25 each. I’d imagine the specials would cost more than the regular episodes though.

Yeah if you enjoy working, then you're going to work. My long late mum worked as a cleaner into her early 70's until she could no longer even walk to leave the house. She literally lived to work because that is what she liked doing.
Me? Retired from working at 37 to take care of a non talking, non walking, severely disabled daughter 20 years ago this year. I'll never work again. Because I don't want to. Never enjoyed it. Not going to do it. So sue me..

amazed you would say 1.3 million wouldnt be enough to last somebody even somebody young the rest of their life
interest alone on 1.3 million is £30,000 per year which is double what 90% of people in the country earn & would increase drastically in coming years with expected interest rate rises.
most people in the country could retire comfortably on that income with no need to ever even touch the winnings if cautious..
choosing to continue working in that situation would be great both socially and to cover extras without dipping into the winnings but working a dead end job like serving at maccies would be dumb and going back into education may be a better idea.

I could easily make a £million last. The first thing you do is, don't spend it, but instead invest it. Yes, buy a modest home, but the rest should be spread over a number of investment to provide a return and thus make the money work so that you don't have to.

Actually pretty good TikTok and i'm over 40. I use it to watch comedy and getting alt opinions/sides of things not shown by the mainstream media so i have a more rounded opinion. If you see dancing teens, then i don't know what you're searching for 🤣
