I definitely need to re-watch this. I was completely out of my element when I fired up the game for the first time last night. I immediately died after landing my ship on the outside of a space station and stepping outside without a spacesuit. Then, I crashed into it and tumbled through space until I passed out and ran out of oxygen. Awesome game, will play again 10/10.

You sound like you a feeling better. Glad to hear it. This is a good intro video. If I find another friend that I would like to introduce the game to sending them this video would be super useful. Enjoy the new year and keep doing great work. 👍🏻
Thank you, I am! Although I actually recorded this one before the last one - takes a lot of work to edit these things. Best wishes for new year when it arrives
One quick correction: When starting the ship, "flight ready" defaults to Right-Alt + R. The shortcuts I and O will toggle your engines and shields, respectively, but they will not put your ship in to a flight-ready state. Also, the default hotkey for calling ATC is Left-Alt + N.
Thanks, I can never remember the new flight ready bind, although I and O still work to bring on the power and engines, which is essentially flight ready. I used them earlier today :)
Hey, great video! I had some questions for players and community members to help me decide on whether to pick up the game 1) how much ship customisation is there? Can i place decorations, build rooms onto my ship and customise the exterior? 2) what is exploration like in game? With enough money and a decent ship, can i fly around and explore like i can in no mans sky? 3) is there any sort of base building? If so, what game is it more similar to? 4) how involved is the multiplayer? Can my brother and i build bases and play games without waking up to a raid that will wipe us? 5) how much real world money will i need to spend? Can i buy my way in and play from there or should i expect to spend money on microtransactions etc
1) Not much at this stage, there are external paints but they can sometimes be difficult to acquire (or cost real money) 2) You can explore pretty much anywhere, but right now there is only 1 star system - 4 planets, and a handful of moons. As the game expands, it's expected to grow 3) Not in the current patch. It's a planned future feature 4) N/A - no base building yet 5) Lots of people buy extra ships, but per this video, you don't need to; you can buy them in-game with in-game currency. The people who spend about $50 often get the best value from the game.
One thing that all start up videos miss is how to use your scanner to ping dark space stations or for landing at dark locations. Those were the two biggest issues I had when I first started playing.
Thank you for this video, I am new to Star Citizen. My friend recently got it and I watched him play it. It has some bugs but it’s not unplayable and is very detailed with lots to do! They are upfront about it being in Alpha and that’s all I ask with games like this. None the less they continue to bring it updates and support it so I’m all for giving it a shot!
Great video! You are my favourite source of Star Citizen videos :) I particularly enjoy the drydock and ship reviews never give up! Youre a wicked sick legend!
Great video thank you, I have been debating this game for a very long time, the one thing that holds me back is its been in Alpha for so long and I don't know anyone that plays :(
The Alpha is a tough one, it depends on your attitude to bugs and incomplete-ness. You can make friends really quickly with the game however, seeking out an org is a great start point
Terrific video. The idea of this game has always captured my imagination, but one hurdle or another has always made me stop short of pulling the trigger on actually buying it. Now and again the battle lines are redrawn for another furious mental debate and with my birthday coming up in a few weeks, the timing of finding your channel couldn’t be better. Perhaps this time…..
Very nice video as per usual sir. These guides are especially appropriate for people like me who only jump into the game every 3 months or so to check on the progress of the game. I must say from, geez what version did I buy an Avenger on sale? 3.0? 2.9? Geez can't remember. There has been significant progress in the game. Yeah some things are a little gimpy still, but it's getting there. These guides will surely help out new players as there are no real "tutorials" in game as of yet. Have you thought of having sort of a quick playthrough video with one of the starter ships? Like "Hi, I literally have nothing but an Aurora/Mustang. Let's get started" videos? Obviously it doesn't have to be intense but maybe more of a "Ok here is your first 20K of credits". Notice I didn't say 30k...So there is not dirty words in there.
That's damn awesome! However I guess it might change just a touch with each patch. I'm going to look up those videos. Thanks for helping the community.@@Farrister
These are always good to update every once in a while so a newcomer won't see only years old instructions that might be out of date. As for the starter ship I'd recommend the trusty old Aurora package. It's a perfectly good starter at the lowest price point and you can upgrade it later to any ship you've tried in the game and pay only the difference in the ship prices.
Personally I would suggest against the Aurora package, the titan (be it more expensive) makes the game infinitely more playable. The Aurora can be a good starter but as far as gameplay loops go the titan just made me want to play so much more.
@@larry3174 As someone who has had an Aurora, Cutter, C8X, and a Titan - I do really enjoy the Titan for it's general "Fighter meets small storage with a bed", and it's currently what I have my old LTI Aurora upgraded to. But out of all the starters, the C8X Pisces is easily my favorite entry level ship. It's quick, maneuverable, it looks nice, it has plenty of space to ferry around small boxes if that's your jam, it can take some hits, and the weapons are no slouch if you are precise with your shots, and has two passenger seats if you want to do response beacons or ferry friends around. The only real downside is the lack of a bed, but it'll get you far enough money wise to get yourself a Nomad and sort that issue out permanently if you're a solo player. The Cutter sits between the Titan and the Aurora for me - as a ship, it's beautiful with a great interior and modern QoL stuff, but it absolutely eats it in speed and maneuverability. It's a casket with two engines, if you're a new player not used to the flight system. I started with the Aurora with LTI back during the kickstarter, and when I finally got the chance to enter it, fly it, and put boxes in it, I regretted not shelling out the extra $20 for the 300i. It was an absolute nightmare of a ship. Getting in and out of it were a pain, half the time the interaction menu wouldn't respond to mouse-overs and clicks, and the thing really feels like "Well, I need something to get me off the planet".
Hey Farrister it would be great to have a guide that's like 1 step more advance then this, showing slightly more niche but still common things you might need to know how to do, like how to scan things with your ship, how to use missiles, how to toggle different flight modes and why you might want to do this & explaining how g-safe and decoupled work and how to use them, how to heal another player, how to change fire modes, how to throw a grenade and not kill yourself etc, those are just the ones that I can think of immediately but I'm sure there's loads more. Stuff that players returning to the game after a while will likely have forgotten how to do, or that new players might not even know is possible. While there are plenty of videos on these topics individually on youtube, it's kind of a case where you don't know what you don't know, so might not think to search for a guide on something when you're barely aware it's even a function that exists.
Excellent video Farrister! This is a very detailed guide and will give new citizens a great start in the verse. Have to say though, I disagree with your use of light mode on the RSI website 😄
I am pretty sure you said O and I to turn on your ship and Engines when you meant to say U and I. This was early on in the video when you were explaining keys for staring your ship just before flight.
@@Farrister LoL, You can laugh, but you DO indeed have a really great voice!! And it's always enjoyable to listen to. So I am both well entertained AND informed by watching and listening to your content. Imagine how much harder it would be if it were no video, just radio, and you had all that info to lay out for listeners!! I personally think you would probably have been well up for that challenge!!.
I needed this, my first attempt at playing led to me overheating in atmosphere then falling to the ground narrowly saving myself as i touched the ground, then doing it again except this time i smashed into the ground and died
Would welcome a complete new player experience including the spawning in bed, figuring out where to get ships and supplies; navigating hanger lifts (that took me 30 mins to figure out i needed to scroll the mouse wheel to find a hanger,.. i literally ran to every lift i could find before someone in chat helped me out.) Then the process of getting into a ship, and flying it out (I took ages trying to figure out how to make ship fly, and i eventually gave up when i couldn't figure out how to get out of vtol. So yea perhaps some basics as well like selecting places to fly to for missions, mining, navigating menu's, etc etc. Sort of a dumbed down baby's 1st steps would be nice
It was just the most beautiful screenshot I could find! Interestingly, or maybe not - let me know, but I draft up anywhere between 2 and 10 thumbnails for each video, and then decide which to use based on anticipated click-ability. Sometimes I poll some of the community members for which thumbnail to use!
Will say, one of the resons im here is my tutorial bugged on Drink Water and i could not continue with it. Had to figure out how to get to my ship and fly on my own, barely made it home and landed xD
So lets say my brother and I are looking to perhaps jump in. Im unaure really on what lackage makea the most sense. I was thinking the warbond nomad pack. Would it make more sense to wait for invuctus event?
I'm going to say anyone looking to start playing I would suggest not to jump into main game but do the 2nd option and learn to fly and dock and land and most of all dog fighting then mabe move to the fps side of it it's a little different then what I was used to but still fun do this for about a week but most of all the choice is yours my first day I lost all my armor and had a bug were armor would disappear when I equiped them. And most of all have fun
if you want a little easier start i would get a Vulture and start off working Salvage, although you def don't have to.... i started the aurora (the basic pack) and am now a multi millionaire owning all the big ships:)
@@Farrister oh ye 100%, i highy recommend Against buying any starter ships since you can make pretty decent money pretty quickly :) you just have to figure out how to do stuff. Also, having ships you want to buy adds goals and reasons to play the game as well ;) i haven't spent any $ on the game besides base pack and i have all the big ships by putting in hours and just enjoying the game
I cant seem to finish the new 3.22 initial tutorial , it wants me to fly to a couple of "checkpoints" in New Babbage, but when i fly to them im not sure what to do next? I see 3 markers on the ground, am i supposed to park in between those markers facing a certain way? It wont let me access my ship until i figure this out. Please help!
so today was my first time playing after building a pc and when I plugged in my elite 2 controller it worked all binding were correct I didn’t have to download couch citizen. I wonder if they fully added support with new update 3.2.2
I have a question!!. I just bought the game but didn't play it yet, my starter pack have a 3 months insurance with my ship, is it 3month in game or 3 month reel live, and after my 3 month if my ship explode can i still claim it? Will i have to pay, and last question did the inssurance cover for all the ship i buy or just this one and o have to buy an insurance for every ship...thanks for your responce🫡.
Nobody really seems to know for sure, there are different views about it. It's probably something we need more clarification about. For now, it doesn't matter - whilst the game is in alpha, the 3 months doesn't mean anything, your ship is just insured. But maybe that will change at some point in the future, we don't know.
Hey may I ask I’m thinking about buying but won’t it bug my pc if it’s a starter and if I boy it and they make a huge update will u need to buy again??
If you buy with cash, it's expected to persist through updates. In game purchases are sometimes wiped, due to game still being in development - but this is rare.
21:30 pirates everywhere now. trying to do overdrive missions and kareah (however it's spelled) is almost always camped by griefers blocking people from playing.
It should be made clear that for solo players they should not buy the game as if your by your self you’ll need to play every day for months on end to make any profit it will be the most grindy game you ever played it’s only fun with a group when you make your own fun as there’s nothing to do
I played Star Citzen a few years ago - and i was in that criminal loop. The reason i stopped playing was i didnt know how to get out - and i didnt know why i did get in
Somehow I get the feeling that I'll download the new patch, start the game, only to experience one game-breaking bug after the other. Had this happen way too many times. Jaded af tbh. Or would you say SC is actually playable right now? Do basic things like delivery kiosks work reliably now? I saw that the old mobiglass UI still hasn't received an overhaul. What about the star map? Still janky when trying to set routes? What about crashes and disconnects? Rarely or every hour? I truly would love to just simply enjoy the currently existing gameplay loops, but as I've said I've tried diving in way too many times only to see that even those loops are way too flawed to be enjoyed. It's 2024 now... Chris ... cmon now.
I think it's playable, and also littered with bugs. I play it as my main game, for hours every week, and although I regularly encounter bugs, I still have a good time playing (in general)
Best video so far about this game, saying the trueth about how buggy it is and that is not for everyone.. for now at least.. !! Started playing this game almopst a decade ago, and sadly until now days cant play it properly and dont feel like worth my time.. for me they are just getting money and doing little.. also with a high end pc cant run this game with more than 40 fps
I just got the game. Have not actually played it yet. I do have a question. The package I got came with armor and a weapon. I know if you die you basically lose it. My question is. If I bought it with the game package and it’s mine is it mine for as long as my account is active? Meaning I can’t lose it? Or can I?
@@Farrister I'll hold off on buying then. It's very expensive here in my country and I don't want to buy it if I don't get full game too if and when it releases.
I wanna play this game but I don't have any friends to play with. Is there any clans or a discord I could join to find people to play with. This game looks like something I could play every day
Yeah, there are lots! I have a link to my org in the video description, although there are many others out there too, depending on what you're looking for
Played the turorial. Dropped my borrito after it took 5 min to spawn. Lol i was trying to eat catchup or fill coffe cup with tap water. Then it spawned in. Anyway burroto fell through floor and couldnt eat it hahaha
a myth/misconception people think is when you are using your warp drive to get around, you are in a "loading screen". you aren't. this is proven by holding still and simply picking a spot in space and LOOKING. you will literally see other players in their ships in warp drive flying around.
Not related to this video but I would like to see a drydock video of the Endeavor as I’m looking to ccu to one but I would like to learn more about it Though make sure not to rush anything 😊
Now that I think about it, there's no functional air traffic control in the game. So asking for clearance to take off is completely pointless, other than for a little immersion. But it's more annoying than anything, because you'll never be declined clearance to take off.
Attention New Players: It should be noted that installing this game on a Solid State Drive is actually a REQUIREMENT, not an option. In the Alpha State of the Game, so many entities must be loaded that playing on a Spinning Disk drive is nearly impossible. Entities and textures will not load in quickly enough on a spinning disk drive which causes you to glitch through the environment and die over and over.
The game is broken. You pay 70$ to get a package but then it wont let you log into the game. Error code 19000. been on it for hours, nothing solves it.
Farrister you didn't mention that most of issues comes with heavy bugs existing in the game for years, while cig is not interested in fixing them, because they are focused on implementing new ships and other stuff, which let them make more money. Player's convenience is out of the plate on their road map. In general, while playing the game you have to struggle with bugs, making you loosing any progress you made and the only sure thing existing in t he game, is that what you payed for with real money. This means that the only way to play it about feeling a little comfortable is to buy stuff for real money. This is 100% exact pay-to-win model, which cig is offering. Way the development is going is really bad and the whole thing is closer to scum than a good game. It looks nice, but that's all. If you need a real adventure in space, buy rather X4: Foundations, Everspace - both parts are great - or Starfield. Star citizen is only a bunch of simple tasks to do, loosing money and time in this space walking sim, where simple travel from space port to a shop can take 10-15 minutes, depending on a city map. Don't loose your time and money for star citizen. It's a shiny but smelly sh*t.
I had a whole section on Alpha Testing and what that means... People should know what they're getting in to, but for many of us, eyes wide open that's still a good game.
@@Farrister This is pretty obvious what alpha is, without your videos. What I am not sure, is about these "eyes wide open" :) The game is pretty. The game allows for getting inside a spaceship and experience lifting, landing and flying spaceships from a cocpit perspective. That's pretty much what is quite innovative here. If you add these possibilities to e.g. Everspace, guess what would happen with Star Citizen. Only few loosers who spend most money would stay in Stanton :) I believe we can expect such games pretty soon as there is a lot to take from the Roberts plate. This is how the market crumbles. Thia is how the game will die if cig will not provide a decent gameplay for supporters really soon. Mark my words Farrister :)
Literally? A loading screen that you can stop at any moment if you change your mind or want to go to a different place instead? A loading screen that pirates can use a ship with a quantum snare to pull you out of? A loading screen that you can fall out of accidentally and end up in the middle of dead space while your loading screen continues without you? A loading screen that lets you get up out of your ships seat and manage your inventory/change equipment/eat and drink/and then sit back down before it finishes loading? A loading screen where you can access global chat, the map, the mission menu, etc? A loading screen that you can get killed during if you weren't careful about not letting stowaways on board your ship? I could go on. Literally, you're objectively wrong.
Aslong there won't be private servers where the server owner could disallow ingame assets bought by real money, i won't really become a fan of this game. The amount of money some have put in there to get huge ships, some with priviliges like lifetime inssurance services which especially with the bigger ships will translate into many ingame hours not having to grind out credits, it is in my book still a pay to win game.
Sounds real to me , who wakes up in a huge space where everyone is naked ? There will be rich people who has big ships . Deal with it or go play shitty games 😀
@@NK-yx7zn seeing how the real world is seemingly going to shit, sooner then later the rich will be dealt with, maybe then they can take refuge in the dream world of shity games like this, like your priviliged ass seems already to do. 😃
LOL you painted a picture of Star Citizen that is not even remotely close to it. Good video, but sadly you are promoting a rolling demo that breaks every time you breathe twice in rapid succession... Beside the fancy places and detailed ships, the rest of the gameplay is not even remotely stable. You will spend hours just going from a bug to another that will mine your progression and waste your time basically. So more than a "starter guide" I wish people would make a guide about what actually works and focus on that; because if you try to manage Star Citizen as if it was a game, you are in for a sad time. This is the type of products you hop in to see how is going and hop out, spending your precious time onto games that are finished and that actually value your time without asking you to pay money beyond the sticker price. Are other games as beautiful and immersive as Star Citizen? Not even close, but this is not a game, it is a demo that you pay $50, if you decide to not be a whale and spend thousands in it. Once it will ship, that will be a different story; but there is no plan for the next 3-4 years for sure to see this completed.
Does not matter how good it is - it does not work. I have powerful pc, bought the game, and… for second month cant play and support cant help. Think twice before waisting money on this.
Is it weird that even as an experienced player I really adore these new player guides?

One thing that all start up videos miss is how to use your scanner to ping dark space stations or for landing at dark locations. Those were the two biggest issues I had when I first started playing.
It's a good tip, although I had to debate hard what to include in just half an hour to cover off the basics!
Thanks for the video, coming back to check out 3.22 after about 3 years away... makes it easy to jump back in.
Hope you enjoy!
Thank you for your kind words! Look forward to next week - Ship Review and Drydock!
My only feedback is that you do a great job. Informative with a pleasant and friendly voice. Your vids are great - my go-to.
That's very kind, thanks for sharing :)
Always look forward to your videos when they pop-up in the list. Thanks for making them 🙂
My pleasure!
5 years in and I still watch these new comers vids. Thanks for the vid! o7
Thanks for watching!
Thank you Farrister. Hope you have a great new year!
Same to you!
@@Farrister I don't mind bugs I have played closed alphas and Betas but this game has been in Alpha longer then Covid has been around LOL
Like a zero to hero kind of thing? I figured there were plenty of them out there already!
That's damn awesome! However I guess it might change just a touch with each patch. I'm going to look up those videos. Thanks for helping the community.@@Farrister
Im so so surprised that this video does not have atleast 100k views by now. Great work and thank you so much for all this information!
Thank you :) glad it is helpful!
Aurora is a good solid choice, too!
A nice idea, thanks!
This makes me want to buy the game right now. I will buy it when makes it's in beta. I know people enjoy this game very much. It looks marvelous.
Fair enough!
Excellent video Farrister! This is a very detailed guide and will give new citizens a great start in the verse.
Have to say though, I disagree with your use of light mode on the RSI website 😄
Haha thanks :D
I am pretty sure you said O and I to turn on your ship and Engines when you meant to say U and I. This was early on in the video when you were explaining keys for staring your ship just before flight.
Oh, isn't it O and I? Now you've got me questioning the buttons I press :D
@@Farrister O is for shields, U is to power on and I is for engines on. Have you got these keys programmed into a joystick?
Yeah, he is correct. U &I are for power and engines@@Farrister
Another video from Farrister, Tutoring with that wonderful svelt voice of his!! I am so going to enjoy this video!!
Haha thank you, as always :D
@@Farrister LoL, You can laugh, but you DO indeed have a really great voice!! And it's always enjoyable to listen to. So I am both well entertained AND informed by watching and listening to your content.
Imagine how much harder it would be if it were no video, just radio, and you had all that info to lay out for listeners!! I personally think you would probably have been well up for that challenge!!.
Thanks for the guide, you're my new Star Citizen guide daddy. First time player, looking forward to space things
nice. With all the changes, this will be helpful for someone starting out.
I hope so!
Very nice production as usual sir
Thank you kindly
I needed this, my first attempt at playing led to me overheating in atmosphere then falling to the ground narrowly saving myself as i touched the ground, then doing it again except this time i smashed into the ground and died
Oh dear!
Would welcome a complete new player experience including the spawning in bed, figuring out where to get ships and supplies; navigating hanger lifts (that took me 30 mins to figure out i needed to scroll the mouse wheel to find a hanger,.. i literally ran to every lift i could find before someone in chat helped me out.)
Then the process of getting into a ship, and flying it out (I took ages trying to figure out how to make ship fly, and i eventually gave up when i couldn't figure out how to get out of vtol.
So yea perhaps some basics as well like selecting places to fly to for missions, mining, navigating menu's, etc etc.
Sort of a dumbed down baby's 1st steps would be nice
10:23 when i go to the fleet manager, theres no ships that i can select. what do i do
Do you have some ships when you see on the hangar on the RSI website?
i fixed it. i jsut had to restart my game@@Farrister
Hull C thumb is wild for a newbie video.
Finally! New video!
Right on schedule ;)
So lets say my brother and I are looking to perhaps jump in. Im unaure really on what lackage makea the most sense. I was thinking the warbond nomad pack. Would it make more sense to wait for invuctus event?
There is actually due to be a free fly event so you could try without a pack! Details on the Star Citizen website
Yes, I suggested this too - the Arena Commander free fly option :)
if you want a little easier start i would get a Vulture and start off working Salvage, although you def don't have to.... i started the aurora (the basic pack) and am now a multi millionaire owning all the big ships:)
An expensive starter pack though!
To get out of the bed, you can also just press or hold W, as it will still get you out of the bed
Oh I didn't know that one!
Happy New year! 🎄
Happy new year!
so today was my first time playing after building a pc and when I plugged in my elite 2 controller it worked all binding were correct I didn’t have to download couch citizen.
@Farrister ok good to know, thanks you very much😁🫡
Hey may I ask I’m thinking about buying but won’t it bug my pc if it’s a starter and if I boy it and they make a huge update will u need to buy again??
If you buy with cash, it's expected to persist through updates. In game purchases are sometimes wiped, due to game still being in development - but this is rare.
@@Farrister how do u buy with cash for my pc??
21:30 pirates everywhere now. trying to do overdrive missions and kareah (however it's spelled) is almost always camped by griefers blocking people from playing.
It should be made clear that for solo players they should not buy the game as if your by your self you’ll need to play every day for months on end to make any profit it will be the most grindy game you ever played it’s only fun with a group when you make your own fun as there’s nothing to do
Started playing this last night. Got some armour and a gun. TheN went on a bounty..... Unfortunately crashed into some huge arse ship and died haha
I played Star Citzen a few years ago - and i was in that criminal loop. The reason i stopped playing was i didnt know how to get out - and i didnt know why i did get in
O snap son! Time to learn from one of the best! ❤🎉😊
Haha thanks Landscaper!
It's far from optimised, although hopefully 40fps still playable!
I just got the game. Have not actually played it yet. I do have a question. The package I got came with armor and a weapon. I know if you die you basically lose it. My question is. If I bought it with the game package and it’s mine is it mine for as long as my account is active? Meaning I can’t lose it? Or can I?
Never played, I’d need a friend to play with
Lots of open orgs out there to help you find somebody!
Im not seeing any Squadron 42 Game Packages. Am i missing something. ??
I think it may be temporarily off sale, whilst we wait for more news later this year
@@Farrister Ok Thanks !
do I get the full game when it releases if I buy now?
It's thought so - although who knows what the future holds!
@@Farrister I'll hold off on buying then. It's very expensive here in my country and I don't want to buy it if I don't get full game too if and when it releases.
Pre built gaming PC in the UK that i can grab to play this?
Excellent.
Thank you!
I wanna play this game but I don't have any friends to play with. Is there any clans or a discord I could join to find people to play with. This game looks like something I could play every day
Yeah, there are lots! I have a link to my org in the video description, although there are many others out there too, depending on what you're looking for
One crucial question before I zero my bank... Are there black holes ?
No black holes, other than the one that's where your wallet used to be
@@Farrister I can compromise after all the research I have done. Thanks for you video, it really helped me out.
Anyone have an update for logging out in a bed? There is no floating text anymore like in the video.

RIP :(
Nice job.
Thanks!
a myth/misconception people think is when you are using your warp drive to get around, you are in a "loading screen".
you aren't. this is proven by holding still and simply picking a spot in space and LOOKING. you will literally see other players in their ships in warp drive flying around.
no multiplayer ship logout?
???
Not related to this video but I would like to see a drydock video of the Endeavor as I’m looking to ccu to one but I would like to learn more about it
Though make sure not to rush anything 😊
Endeavour! Yes, I'll add to the backlog :)
@@FarristerThanks! 😄
Now that I think about it, there's no functional air traffic control in the game. So asking for clearance to take off is completely pointless, other than for a little immersion. But it's more annoying than anything, because you'll never be declined clearance to take off.
Love this game but even with 32gb rtx 3080.. ssd.m2 cant run this game higher than 30 fps
It's a demanding game!
For an online game I have never felt so alone
What I want in this game is a full game out of testing before i turn 60
Depends how close to 60 you are, is my guess!
Hello i just bought the game and am installing it is their a discord that i could maybe join thats willing to help new players id love to learn.
Did you find anyone? I’m new too, it’s very daunting at first
@@SilverDay17 I did in thankyou for getting back with me though
The game has been out for about 10 years and still in alpha phase. It’ll take them about 30yrs to get it released…… 🤔
I think they're pushing hard to try and move beyond that, but yes, people need to be aware before diving in
Bugs yes hehe, got out of a public transport to get to the spaceport and ended up in space ;-) Still a cool game though
The game is broken. You pay 70$ to get a package but then it wont let you log into the game. Error code 19000. been on it for hours, nothing solves it.
That's rough :(
Refund?
I forgot to do a referral code :(
It's OK, you get a nice boost of 5,000 UEC if you use one, but it's not the end of the world if you didn't!
just get your account refunded (14day no questions asked atleast) and sign up with a new one! referral bonus right now is good!
I wonder how much will change when we actually get Pyro? Hopefully we see…….Soon.
I don't mind updating things, if I have to. Excited for the first time going through that jump point!
Issit just me or some also find the old HUD design actually more informative for new players?
Yeah lol
well done
Thanks
There is no loading screen after the first one....oh, waiting for 2-6 min to quantum travel..well i think that s the loading screen time xD
We have no LEADERS
We have no FEARS
We are SENTINELS!
WE SURVIVE.
There’s always 1 crybaby
@@NoBrainah There is no cry. There is one lousy alpha scum game pumping out people money - star citizen.
Damn I wish I could use a controller for this game
You can!
Can you create a tutorial on how to have fun with the game? It just isn’t fun to play
Quantum travel is literally a loading screen
Literally, you're objectively wrong.
so 30 minutes, just to float in dead space and scan one rock ?
Aslong there won't be private servers where the server owner could disallow ingame assets bought by real money, i won't really become a fan of this game. The amount of money some have put in there to get huge ships, some with priviliges like lifetime inssurance services which especially with the bigger ships will translate into many ingame hours not having to grind out credits, it is in my book still a pay to win game.
Let's hope not :(
Sounds real to me , who wakes up in a huge space where everyone is naked ?
You shouldnt need another player to teach you the game. it should be in the game
it's not worth playing if you have a slow computer
Quite possibly - if you're running something quite old, it may not work well
@Farrister I will try. Hope I don't regret it. 🙂
Does not matter how good it is - it does not work. I have powerful pc, bought the game, and… for second month cant play and support cant help. Think twice before waisting money on this.
Oof, that's a shame :(
Are you getting errors or something?
