7:40 Don't know how Poopy Pants expected the other guy to see him coming, there's a whole line of trees blocking the view, and besides, they were already pulling out when he pulled into view
Hey Sergey! This was a change but I'm glad you posted. I've learned a lot about truckers and driving around them on the road, always a good reminder. Had one tell me once "If you can't see me in the cab, I can't see you..." which is good advice for all of us sharing the road (that and they can't stop as fast as we think). Glad to see you're well and hope you stay safe. Wishing you peace and sending blessings. 😇❤

Are you happy some tanks are coming, and talks about possibly aircraft are proceeding? Does it worry you at all that Putin may use increased military equipment support as an excuse to deploy other weapons?
The western express and swift altercation happened at the smallest pilot in Atlanta. I remember blindsiding into a spot without help. ALWAYS take your time when backing in. It’s not a race.
7:30 the cammer is an example of a bad driver. yes the JB is wrong for pulling out not that i think he could even see, but the cammer could have slowed down but didn't because his ego could not handle that. how much u wanna bet he brives around with his unmuffled engine brake on all the time and a unreasonable bright LED bad on the front of his truck because he does not care about anyone else. 8:00 is also just inattentive I could see that coming from the moment the flatbed pulled out.
Ego is right. People seem to be under the impression that they are entitled to never be mildly inconvenienced while driving. Generally speaking, it is within the law to cause other drivers to tap the brake if you don't create an imminent threat of collision.
I grew up with truckers, so my love for the industry is still there. However, some truck drivers tend to think that because they outweigh the cars by 40:1, they own the road. It is frustrating when they cut over, and expect the car to give way, then take 10 miles to get past the other trucker who also has a governor, and won't back off a 1/2 a mile an hour, etc. Come on truckers, you get mad when cars get impatient, but you have to remember you weigh 80K and shouldn't try to drive like you are in a car either.
I'm very surprised that those trucks don't have backup cameras. I can imagine that those trucks are extremely difficult to back up without hitting anything.
The thing is, many of these "super truckers" want to act all cool and try to back up without assessing the situation. Real truckers, before EVERY backing, assess the situation, get a picture of the backing in their minds and execute their plan. Also, the smartest ones put aside their ego and do a simple thing known as G.O.A.L., Get Out and Look. Even on the test you're allowed to do so, showing how important it is to safe backing. The best truckers are the ones who realize that the most important thing is not looking cool, but being a safe and professional driver.
I’ve forgotten to latch the hood, come to a stop and away she goes. I just latched the hood and laughed it off along with other drivers giving the thumbs up. Another day at the office.
The yellow concrete pole thingies are bollards. Just for future reference. They are hard. I know I’m partially colorblind and have hit a couple. I’m not allowed to drive commercially anymore.
3:58 The yellow concrete protector things are called bollards. It's too bag that we can't rotate our tandems away from just straight ahead. If we could, people might hit less stuff. Or, they could just slow down and pay attention. I forgot to mention, it's even more difficult to understand why people won't pull their heads out and stop recording in portrait mode!

Wild stuff out there. Craziest I ever saw was a truck making a left through an intersection and the trailer dropped off of the tractor and nosed into the road. Every cable snapped or pulled loose before the driver could stop. I never saw the aftermath. There was just enough room in the right-hand lane to get around him and continue on my way.
He aint going anywhere with a ripped up axle. He is gonna need a rotator to winch him out and then lift the trailer onto a flatbed truck to get towed. Idiot driver man.
Saying the flatbed hitting the swift truck wasn't a big deal is not a good call at all. I drove big trucks all my working life and you always gotta know where your trailer is. Just cruising around not paying attention or giving a flip where it is will most likely get someone hurt or killed eventually. Its totally irresponsible and unacceptable!!!
