Taking this with a full stomach doesn't seem to provide much relief. But one night i woke up with a burning stomach and could tell it was completely empty do I took some pepto and could feel it coat my entire stomach. It definitely relieved the burning I felt.

I went to the store to buy pepto bismol for an ulcer I've gotten, and omg it tasted like crap! It is NOT the same as it was. It is now full of additives that never used to be there! Why in the world would they need to add benzoic acid, artificial sweetener, and other horrible chemicals. I was very disappointed in the new product. Granted, I'm 69 years old, but the Pepto Bismol of old was so much better. I will never buy the new stuff again. They've ruined an excellent product.
I find swallow ones best. Even though it has a mint flavor. Any medicine tastes less than appealing. I like swallow pills just because you don't have to taste the flavor.
