Hey I’m buying some today. Got exposed to food poisoning Monday. The next day it was bad. I went to the bathroom 6-8 times. The day after that I couldn’t use the bathroom. Thursday I was able to use the bathroom and it was a lot of build up from the previous day. Thursday I had fasted and was completely fine. After the 24hrd I ate a turkey sandwich. I was a able to use the bathroom. I still had Diarrhea but not as bad as the other days.
would advise against taking this stuff if you have a stomach virus /food poisoning, another doctor warns can just prolong the symptoms and make you sicker as I found out, its better to let it take its own course so gets out of your system faster...
Rice water has helped me more than anything so far. It usually helps me for about 6 hours. 1 cup rice ~put in pan with no water ~ let it lightly brown. Then add 2 cups water and let it cook for 20 minutes. Don't let the water boil out of it. Add water if you need to. After 20 minutes strain the rice and drink the rice water. It is not too bad tasting but really helped me with the diarrhea. Let it cool a little before drinking. Drink it when you feel like you need it. Hope this helps somebody. Also take Florstor probiotics. If you have diarrhea because of antibiotics go see a gastroenterologist. They can do test and give you medication that will help stop the diarrhea.
How to treat diarrhea... don't eat fast food, stop eating high fructose corn syrup and processed garbage. Eat food for its nutritional value. "Let food be thy medicine."
Always use a probiotic. Antibiotics ruin things regarding all that and you need to repair it with antibiotics, which anyone should take regularly anyway.

If the Imodium doesn’t work it can be followed up by pepto bismal. And eating plain toast, saltines, applesauce, bananas, rice (not necessary to eat all), will help a lot. Look up “BRAT” diet, that’s what it is.

My dentist prescribed antibiotics for me and I've had diahhrea for two weeks now. I bought lmodium from the pharmacy, but it says that I can't take it if the diahhrea is caused by taking antibiotics. What do I do??
@@manpreetsadana6898 No, don't take Imodium. it may cause you other health problems. I've tried several things, but the only thing that worked was a teaspoon of pure honey in the morning. trust me it works like magic because it contains probiotics. The diahrrea will be gone in two/three days.

It can help with the diarrhea caused by IBS but should not be relied on for daily use. Work on limiting contributing factors causing your IBS for betting results and talk to your health care professional for other medications.
