Hey all! I published about about coping and persevering with IBS called The Invisible Hiker. Check it out here: www.amazon.com/dp/B09T5Z5FL2/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1
Finally a healthy way of looking at over the counter medicine. It is supposed to be a bandaid not a cure. My family over takes nsaids, antacids and pepto all the time but taking when needed the recommend dose is never done. I will show this video to them
Have you switched to the active ingredient: bismuth subsalycilate? Good for hydrogen sulfide SIBO. When the Body cant utilize sulfer properly, thus causes the rotten Egg odor from SIBO. I guess bismuth helps with that.
@@donew1thita11 I believe it depends on what the package says! But for mine, yes a dose is two, I often take one and wait 10-15 minute before the second
Have a question. Does your IBS cause anal drainage? Like a mucus coming out of the rectum. I have what I think is IBS. Trying to self diagnose because the lazy doctors I’ve seen can pin point the cause. Even though I have very good private insurance.
@@Velo1010 hey, I'm really not sure about anal drainage, some things you can ask your doctors to do are stool samples, abdominal X-rays, and sigmoidoscopy to rule out other factors leading to anal drainage
@@kirawithibs okay. When I said anal drainage I was meant mucus in the stool that tends to leak about during the day. Well I’m going to see another Gastro. The female doctor I saw two weeks ago was not competent. I thought I had hemorrhoids so she died this digital exam. Nothing else. She says go see a gastroenterologist that’s a colorectal surgery. That’s was a wasted $30 copay.
Oh no I just took this but I’m also been constipated for a while quite a long time do you know who knows what and I’m going for my colonoscopy and the one for the stomach so one tube in the miles down the oesophagus and one of them until next week I hope this is not gonna hurt me at all and the pharmacy is an idiot I got a wait for the other one to come along tomorrow

It’s okay to talk about poop. My 38 year old sister talks about poop like it’s a new found glory. She’s got IBS too. Thanks for this video
@@chantraotep we all poop like why do some people get so uncomfortable 😭🤣
@@kirawithibs If I'm eating just please dont

Good luck with those exams! I would reach out to your doctor and ask if it is okay to take Pepto, they should know best :)
Very nice 👍
Pepto Bismol should have the pink panther on it
Hey
nothing helps nor does loperamide
@rosamunoz7066 I'm sorry to hear you are struggling:/
I eat some meat, not fatty meat, root vegetables, no leafy greens or salads. (Boring), but no diarrhoea 😊
