DCS WORLD is beautiful! But to make it even better than it already is, it needs to have clickable ground troops operating on the ground.

Incredible-I've wanted terrain like this for a long time and it's coming out as great as I'd have dared to imagine.
Hmm already know what I'm gonna be doing with those snowy mountains, and it involves F-18's, low level flying and some Tom Cruise!

So far ED have made me spend more than £8k for my PC, Varjo headset, custom cockpit frame, HOTAS, rudder pedals, DDI’s, modules & maps. All exclusively for DCS. Now they want me to spend more for this map?

Punta Arenas civil-military airport you can find app charts by locking for SCCI. There is also a runway in SCNT the town is in the map but no runway (99kms hdg 310 from Punta Arenas) VOR apps avail. Runway is used for A320 domestic flights.

Yea, He finally got the pay upgrade, well deserved. I don’t think half the people in here know it was even his video. Now we know what took so long for a new update.
@VRimulator the name seems to be Greek. Well i will not be surprised if he is, with turks violating our airspace everyday, we have a lot of experience in real and sim flight haha!
Now we can actually recreate that last scene of *Top Gun Maverick* by flying Hornets through these mountains....

slowly, over time DCS has seen less need for AI units in multiplayer because actual users can choose different planes for various tasks. I look forward to seeing the conflicts on this map

I am not a huge fan of this area but I bought the map because I want to support quality map makers for DCS. Hopefully we will get that Vietnam map someday. :)

Good lord this looks epic, something this stunning will hit the FPS hard but the price for progress, beauty and excellence is never cheap so man up and make sure your systems can show this new map in all its beauty. I am so ready for this :)

whenever a new plane comes out, I always have the will I won't I argument with myself. I would like to fly everything, but will I really have the time to learn them and use them?
with terrains there is no question. of course I will use it! whatever plane I want to fly, I can use them with a new map.

The pricing on this map surprised me. I know its big but its mostly water. Making the full retail price of the map more expensive than the Syria map seems like an odd choice. I was looking forward to the map but I think now I am going to think about it and maybe wait for a bigger sale.

Ground texture level is from lock on times... If you see Casmo video set in this map you can see the giant difference with a properly done map like Syria. I'm not going to buy this map unless a major overall for 2022 standard is met. Good job on the assets on the other hand...

It's arguably the biggest sandbox we have right now for DCS. As a multiplayer map for teams & virtual squadrons, you can easily run your training sessions without worrying about bumping into each other, or conflicting air spaces. It's also, not bad to look at too, folks. Enjoy!

Are you serious? This is not even up to the standards of the Channel, Siria or Marianas map. Just look at the lack of details in the cities..
@@js312raf They're akin to real life. Marianas still runs like poo. Syria outside of Cyprus and the West Coast is nothing but bland flat sand. Further east is not even undulating. The Channel is okay until you're down low.
Regardless, many people who have had EA to the Falklands map have said it runs better than Syria, despite it being much more vast. AFAIK its the biggest map so far.
On top of all of that, this map is due to release today into EA for everyone. They've said there's still lots of work to do, as is expected, but from a release perspective, it's better than any of the other maps.
If you really don't like it, don't get it. Simple. 👍

I bought every DCS map, this one too. It shows great potential for more war scenarios. Even just doing sightseeing and flying is fun. But now, the waves near the coastline are static, and many patches of land look like they are coming from Google maps. That disconnects me from the immersion that I had in the Syria map. Razbam has done a good job. Please improve it continuously.
