If they get killed, or lose the battle and nuke everything, well, they just weren't good enough. By their actions that seems to be their philosophy.

Revenge isn't even in any Predator's vocabulary! Predators consider humans worthy after one of their members is defeated (Prey, Predator 2) or if the humans helped to defeat a really tough foe (vs the Alien Queen in AVP) - sometimes, the humans will even receive a cool tribal scar (AVP) or trophy (Predator 2) for their triumph.....

I thought, the Predator comes for trophies and not for vengeance. What the native maight be telling is probably other predators from across the ocean and not space.
I haven't paid for a movie ticket since Star Wars -- but in this case - yes I would pay to see this in theater ....
