My copy is on its way, got through customs earlier this week. Hopefully it's here by tomorrow. Which would be great, since my birthday is then! Really looking forward to play it myself! Great tutorial!
Very well done!. The only additional thing I would like to have seen would be an explanation of the effects on a couple other cards that are a little harder to understand. For example, the bounty hunter card. Does that mean you can place any die on the card get 1 additional strength, but if the die is a 4 or greater, you also get to draw 2 cards into your hand?
Thanks for watching! The Bounty Hunter gives you two action spaces. So you can place two dice on it, or just one die. The first action is to attack, the second action is to draw two cards if you place a four or higher. Both actions are independent of each other. Does that help? - Lara
Another question. If you have enough attack spaces and dice, can you attack multilple zombies? Say I have one on my board and a new one from the current caravan space. Can i attack both, or once on your board do they stay there till the end of the game. Zombie attack is then a 1 time direct action.
As long as you have multiple attack action spaces, you may take multiple attack actions on a turn. But then you are sacrificing other actions by dedicating multiple dice to attacking zombies. Hope that helps!
Is there just one cube per space on the ember zombie and trade board? Or can you share a space like with tents? If it is one cube then with 2 it is blocked and that can happen in 1 turn if two players fifht the same zombie or make te same trade.
How many cards can you play into your tableau in a single turn? Is it limited to 1 or ca you play multiple if you have enough resources (sso Ling as you stay within the 12 card limit)?
Great video but did you shuffle the deck or just select low cost cards for your examples? I tried to play 2 handed to learn the game. It seems that this is a 10 turn game plus 2 startup turns spent cashing in cards as free actions to get resources to be able to be able to afford any cards. 135 cards but couldn’t be bothered to have 4 more player aid cards ( for people you are teaching the game to). Simultaneous play - so you mean virtually solo? I hope this turns out as a better gaming experience for the people I am teaching it to than it was for me trying to learn it. So when I teach this, I am expecting comments like how do I do anything with insufficient resources; most of the cards will take me 2 or 3 turns to be able to afford - might have been better with some asymmetric character start ups ( or low value startup cards). How do you know what sort of set collection to aim for as a First time player when there is no indication of the mix of of the cards in terms of what to collect? I imagine people are going to be disappointed playing this game and prefer to play something else next time rather than play this again. I hope I am pleasantly surprised.
Ive watched a looooot of bg tutorials over the years. This was excellent. Very clear, well structured and you're an engaging presenter.
Thank you for the kind words! - Lara

Hi there! There may be one cube per player on the ember zombie and trade board spaces.

Great question! Since it is a free action, you can play as many as you want, as long as you have the resources to do so. - Lara
Can multiple cubes share a single market spot? Ie, two players on the same turn take a market action for the same value?
Yes!
the wooden tokens....is it me or they look less nice than the cardboards?
Thankfully there are two versions of Creature Caravan to fit both preferences!
If you're not first you're last.
What if you're not last?
