NEW PedalMonster Makes Driving FUN Again

- The NEW PedalMonster is the first-ever OBD-II data-connected intelligent throttle response controller for cars and trucks. When Gale and the Banks Engineering team discovered that all other throttle boosters were unsafe, they set out to make a better one.
City, Sport, and Track modes provide 10 unique levels each of increasing intensity for both manual and automatic transmissions, making modern drive-by-wire cars and trucks feel more responsive than ever! Dead pedal is a thing of the past.
PedalMonster seamlessly integrates with Banks tuners, monitors, and supports all popular cars and trucks, domestic and foreign. Available as a stand-alone module, for use with existing iDash, with iDash SuperGauge, and iDash DataMonster.
PedalMonster’s internal circuitry is powered by the reliable +12 volt OBD-II connector. Competitive devices draw current directly from the low-overhead +5 volt throttle pedal circuit, often causing a check engine light and reduced engine power. And, after removal, no footprint is left behind, making it warranty-friendly.

And this is why Banks is by FAR #1 for ANY aftermarket accessories etc. Everything they do is SO far above and beyond everyone else it’s not even funny. Fricken love it, keep up the great work Banks!!
Hey Mr banks I just want to say thank you for loving America
I just installed the Pedal Monster and it is worth every penny !!! It’s like a new truck 👍 I’m a tech dummy and I set it up the first try ! Thank you very much Banks crew , awesome.
I'm actually in love with Gale Banks. I wish so badly I could wake up and have him be my grandpa.
I guess that'd be OK. And I'm glad you didn't say man-lover.
Strange but I support your dreams
In love is really weird dude.
Love I understand but in love is perverse.
OK, these comments are starting to get strange now
Be that grandpa for your future grandson
Gale Banks is a friggin genius! I cant believe how hard hes crushing the competition.
Gale once again you hit it out of the park with staying ahead of the competition, ,,can't wait too get one
Just put one of these on my 2013 5.0 F150... Freaking amazing! Thanks for the awesome product and engineering behind it! Love it.
I don't even have a car nor a license, but I wholeheartedly appreciate the engineering that went into this. There is a certain beauty in a well made, thought out product like this. Things worth doing are worth doing properly!
So glad I found this video before I purchased the wrong product. Got mine on order. Thanks Banks!!!
Hope you like it! Thanks for going with team Banks.
Another great well engineered and made in the USA Gale Banks product! I do think that you could add (3) additional driving modes to this tuner though?
1) Desert running (2) Crawling (3) War mode for the new generation of Banks/Duramax powered up armored military vehicles.
This is what I love about Banks Power products the extensive R&D they put into it
Me: I have a 71 Ford Pinto.
Banks: Sorry.
Me: It has an LS...
Banks: Let me get your order started.
He would probably help you swap a twin turbo marine big block with a c6, he would have 40 years ago.

I'd be scared to drive it and even more scared to brake and/or go around corners in it.

I have the Derringer, I-Dash and Pedal Monster Combo..... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
When I get a fancy modern car with fly by wire I'll get one. Actually my 06 Crown Vic was wire throttle, while it was ok it was nothing like my 04 Jeep GC, the last year for the old school cable throttle. Still has the best response around, nothing beats a direct throttle connection.
The watchdog circuitry and Made in USA was all I needed to choose Banks. Can't wait to install and try it out.
Man, I'm glad I found this video. I've seen a lot of the other PC videos all over YT, and almost sent a few dollars away to get one. I recently purchased a 2010 GMC Sierra. So now it's time to make it perform a little better. So glad I found this. I've always liked Gale's stuff anyway, you are professional with everything you do.
Glad we could help, welcome to the Banks family.
Thank you for taking the time and energy to help us modify our vehicles safely
You guys make the best stuff. I have a supercharged Tundra with a stout 4.88 rear. My tuner (Bully Dog) provides a twitchy throttle setting on top of an already hyper, Toyota stock throttle. As you imagine, when I just touch the pedal, it jumps. Combined with 4.88 rear and posi, it brings a smile to my face every time. It feels like a big diesel dumpling it’s torque at once. So, I would get the pedal monster and set it to “race!” 😆 If I had a diesel, I’d endow the truck with a full Banks system. It’s the only way to make huge, safe power.
I put one of these on my classic Geo Metro, it really opened her up!
I love the fact that they used dmaxrynos clip when they messed up Chris’s truck to prove pedal commander is garbage lmao
Glad to see they finally have them for my 5.3 silverado
Been waiting myself too.
Looks like a great product and that Gale Banks is a fantastic salesman. I’m sold. Time to get a Pedal Monster for my ‘21 Ram 1500 Hemi.
Have had mine on my ‘19 Challenger for a while now and can’t drive without it. Had Pedal Commander and it did put my car in limp mode at highway speeds. Bit unnerving to say the least. Love the response and safety features of Pedal Monster. Will never be without it.
Got the same car man ! & i was thinking about getting one of these, do you recommend it ? & any honest opinions on it ?
@@kingvic8745 Sorry, just saw this. I love it. Can't drive without it because the throttle lag is that noticeable when I turn it off. It's been working flawlessly and the extra safety features are nice.
@@JV-sx3xc its all good & yeah ive seen pretty good stuff about it makes me think its a little fishy lol but is that with sport mode on ? Bec on normal mode theres def a lag but with sport on it feels much better & so with the commander will it feel like the next level to it ?
I bought my pedal commander two years and I used it how the instructions say to and it works great, easy to install and is place out of sight so my window doesn’t get broken to steal it. It has never given me a dead pedal or put my vehicle into limp mode. I use it everyday that I drive it and change the settings to what I’m doing and it feels like a different vehicle over stock. The pedal monster is probably good too but I bought my pedal commander for under
$300 and I’m happy with it!
We're glad you've had good luck with it, some unlucky few haven't. If you ever change your mind, PedalMonster starts at $295 and has some exclusive features:
▪️ActiveSafety failsafe circuitry
▪️Gear Sense, detect when you are in reverse gear to activate the patented Reverse Safety feature.
▪️Transmission select, to toggle and adjust PedalMonster between manual vs automatic transmissions selections.
▪️Reverse Safety returns pedal to stock in reverse gear
▪️Adjustable Low-Speed Trim controls how fast sensitivity is added at slow speeds
▪️Module powered by +12v via OBD, not low-overhead pedal circuit like Pedal Commander and others.
My 2021 RAM Diesel install 10 mths ago, Can't be happier and that's from a Retired Diesel Technician.
I’m glad I saw this before buying a PC!
Got my Pedal Monster for my Jeep JL Turbo and Holy shit this thing makes a difference. I love track mode when I'm in the mud.. 😁
Banks power is most definitely the top dog. As a customer I appreciate that you take safety seriously. I wouldn’t risk my family’s life using any of these other products. It’s flat out dangerous some of these companies. Just ordered the pedal monster 64310 for my 19’ f250 can’t wait to start towing with it.
Love to hear this feedback Andrew. Consider the fact that PC and all the other throttle boosters on the market (some have been around longer than others) have no safety features, we don't consider them on our level.
Omg I foflol when you threw the petal out the window
I just ran over a gas pedal in the middle of the road. Thanks. lol. Great stuff I'm sold!
This thing is amazing!! Love it. It doesn't add HP or torque, but you tell my tires that! 😊
True that!
Banks coming in with ultimate roasts haha
Well done!
Mine is on the way as we speak! Can't wait to get it installed and let all the Bald Eagles FLY!! Thanks Mr. Banks for being for MERICA!!
* insert 'Murica Eagle meme *
Just got my pedal monster and I'm about to install it
Got it installed And it really makes a difference.
@@tomcocci nice
What do you think? Install it yet?
I have 1 in my 2016 suburban wife drives and loves it . I have 1 in the 2018 f250 diesel and I love it
Haha have actually experienced that with my pedal commander. On our Kia minivan the pedal delay is dumb it lugs so bad specially up a hill and the pedal commander was the only available. The first time it happened my van was bucking like a wild bull, got it updated and lasted two weeks before it was bucking again. Tossed it in the dumpster. Have had luck with sprint booster, but for my f150 I’m getting the pedal monster.
The man is nothing short of a damn genius...period.
Great video! This gentleman is awesome! I’m ordering one for my 2019 F250 with 6.2l gas engine.
How’d you like it? I’m thinking about getting one for mine.
I put HP Tuners Scanner on my Ford Transit Custom. Ign on engine off I floored the throttle and the throttle opening went to 80% !!!!
I literally ground away some of the plastic that stops the pedal moving down and got the throttle opening up to 94% when floored.
The pedal now goes further down toward the ground AND I can feel more power. Scanner also shows higher fuel duty at full throttle.
There is one thing for sure Gale Banks does the research before making money, while the others make a quick buck to run from research. And fail at that.
Got the standalone version. Took ten minutes to throw it in a 2021 Silverado 5.3. Running it on max city mode. So much nicer without the SPONGE PEDAL!!!! Yah, I tried it in an empty parking lot on max track mode just for the hell of it, ummmm....no. Wont be doing that on the street. Nice unit.
I dig it. Planning on getting one for my 2020 Powerstroke.
The guy from the UA-cam channel workplaytv just did a video review on this for his 2020 Powerstroke.
Now, we need the Derringer for the 2020 Powerstroke.
I love that you built this in the USA. Where are your Datamonster gauges manufactured?
This is EXACTLY what I’ve been wanting for my vehicle, it has all the features for a perfect throttle response. I hope it can be made to fit my pedal 😎
It plugs into the OBD port and the pedal connector. As long as they have one that fits the connector, it should work for almost any drive by wire vehicle.
Even equipment like excavators and loaders have electronic throttle, it would theoretically work for those as well.
Timothy Bayliss my pedal plug is different to the one shown, it’s a commercial van, hopefully there are different styles available 👍🏼
This guy is my hero!
This man has forgotten more than most mechanics will ever know he is really sharp
Gale Banks superior insight of the crucial details regarding internal combustion engine processes, beyond mechanical fundamentals, of how modern engines actually function with the numerous interrelated operational complexities involved.
Of course this comes out after I bought a pedal commander. Damn it🤦♂️😂
I'd love to try it on my duramax
I have one of these on my Stinger, theyre boss!!!
And here I am never having been dissatisfied with a throttle cable.
Seems awesome
Didn’t see my 2017 Chevy SS sedan listed on the website. I’ll be calling you guys to check on this. Been holding off on getting a Pedal Commander because of mixed reviews. This is the unit I need for sure!!!
We believe our 64310 PedalMonster will work with your SS. Take a photo of your pedal connector and text it to us at (800) 601-8072. We can tell you right away if it'll work.
Thanks for the quick reply!! Can’t see the plug without dropping some interior trim panels. I found pics of new and used pedal assemblies online including the female plug. Seems to be the exact plug found on the 2017 Camaro and also on my 2500HD. Thinking more about it this should be a simple plug and play especially since other SS owners have installed Pedal Commanders. Will be ordering soon!
This is one of the best mods I have bought for my duramax! Pedal monster is amazing I love it makes my truck drive the way it should!! Absolutely amazing product!!
Shawna is adopted into the bank’s family
2021 jeep 2.0 turbo
She loves her new family of banks power
She will never be late again thanks to you
Thankyou Gale and your entire staff
We absolutely love you all
Gale. Thanks for your wonderful products. I would love to get one of these if i dont win one on another channel ;)
Hi Gale, I genuinely admire your work. A true legend in the industry, seriously. Could I use this on a Z06 Corvette to limit maximum power output? I am thinking for track day work if someone green wants to get behind the wheel I can take it from 600+HP down to say 60-70% max throttle? I am assuming this would be a simple coding change, but I have no idea how complex your algorithms are!
This guy is my hero
Gale Banks is a Legendary Engineer
Wow....glad I still have "old tech" and a throttle cable with adjustment...for my application, I kinda wanted a larger 4.0l Mustang throttle body. Can't do it, it's fly by wire...might be able to run a 2011+ 4.0l ECU which gives me a curve that's adjustable, but the good ol' cable I think will be fine.
I've flown airplanes with both wire and cable....one thing wire will NEVER have is positive feedback. Amazing product Mr. Banks' company has designed, but I want to fly/drive the machine, not it do it for me.
You’re a frickin national treasure.
I need this in my life
I have a startX remote start module on my 2020 F250 7.3. It hooks to back of the obd2 with a T harness. Will this affect the install of a pedal monster? Its my understanding that once the engine is remote started and the key is placed to on and brake applied that the startx module is disengaged. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
I had a 2008 cobalt manual that had terrible throttle mapping. If you were rolling, it would go into a different throttle map that would make it dangerous to drive.
Imagine youre at a stop sign and when you let off the brake the car rolls backwards, I mean an inch, the throttle map would soften and you would stall the car.
I had the same problem with my 2009 corolla, that mysteriously disappeared when I unplugged the Abs pump and disabled the vehicle speed sensors. When the ecm thought the car wasn't rolling, the throttle response was almost too sharp.
Wish you did some BMW stuff for gas cars because you turn diesels up to 11! My 2002 BMW Z3 M roadster is a monster but more power is better. My 0-60 times are 3.8sec but still off the line it feels a little slow but once moving it does better but I’m sure it’d be better with one of yours if you made it.
Please make one for the 2014 Chevy Spark, but my odb2 is being used by an Allstate Drivewise so I don't know how they would plug-in both the same time
My favorite Mustang mod was a throttle remap;)
Weather it's someone using this product over competitors or informing people about the dangers of mainstream throttle controllers and discouraging their use, this product and video will probably save someone's life by preventing a dead pedal scenario. Well done, sir.
I remember watching this on Dmaxryno's channel.
His truck went from dmaxryno to Dmaxhippo when he got a reduced engine power
That's when it all started for us.
@@bankspower I have a manual 5.9 2003 cummins, I put a slightly bigger turbo on it and it feels a bit laggy, would this help for that?
Will adding power harm my 68RFE transmission in a 2015 Ram 3500 6.7? I've heard that adding power might damage those transmissions.
Question!!! I already have my amp research step on my OBD would there be a voltage drop on any problem?
Mr Banks. Question for you. I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a superchips trail dash 2. It is connected to my OBO-ll all the time so i can use all of its features. So how can i run your pedal monster ??
Any word about a derringer for the ram 6.7? Would like to buy everything at once!
+1!!!
No kidding!!! I've been dying to slap one in my Ram....
What’s the part number for a 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi
Does it always need connected to the phone to operate. Or does it remember it’s last settings?
Does this help with modern rev hang ie the throttle stays open briefly say during a shift in a manual car which pisses my the f off when trying to row make me feel like I forgot how to shift
The Marauder had a standard cable actuated throttle body (dual barrel) - what does the pedal monster do on this vehicle?
I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel. What would you recommend for better MPG? Thank you
Very good explanation thank you for you time. Can you please tell me if this power monster is available for a 2021 charge scat pack 392 Hemi. Please let me know part number. Thank you so much for your assistance.
I have a 2020 GMC denali 3500 I've been planning on getting a pedal monster, derringer and 3. I-dash gauges but you don't have a triple gauge pillar mount available any idea when you will have one available
I just ordered mine for my Jeep JL for that Turbo Lag!!
Great video thanks for sharing - Lets say I have my Pedal Monster set up so when I have 20% pedal deflection and Pedal Monster is set to give me 40% power at that pedal position. Wouldn't it be just as easy to just push the throttle down to 40% to accomplish the same power and not bother with the cost of a Pedal Monster and not have to worry about reverse.
Regardless of Pedal Monsters sensitivity or mode, your getting the same exact results and power the stock throttle provides. Pedal Monster just gives the driver an illusion he is getting more power, when all he has to do is push the pedal down a bit further to obtain the same exact results and power. '
While I'm a firm believer in most all of your products, I just can't wrap my head around any real use for a Pedal Monster when I can do the same thing with my stock throttle.
Regards - M.J.Mas
Guess I'll check one out if the PC fails in my Ram diesel. 2 years, still ok, except, Ecodiesel has a bit of turbo lag. Made in USA is a big plus for me, though.
I recently purchased a PedalMonster for my 2018 Colorado z71. I'm enjoying it very much, but I wish that the app would allow the user to create and save custom, independent settings for each configuration. As it is right now, if I make a change in one mode - city for example - it also affects the other two modes - sport & track.
That would be cool, we'll pass the suggestion along to our development team.
Wish you had stuff for an 02 chevy s10 pickup with a 2.2 a lil bump will be nice
Just installed on my 550K LBZ and what a difference out of the hole! Now is the just placebo? Does it change the speed, or is it just like pushing the pedal further? Would 0-60 times still be the same as going WOT?
How safe is it for the techs to unplug it from the obd2 and run it so they can use the port do run there scans
Mr. Banks, a 16 year old car guy, that never grew up. Never grow up Mr. Banks. The car world still needs you, and always will need you.
Those are some gangster socks, Gale
You should see him Crip walk... 🤣
when will it be available for VW, Merc, tesla?
Should've went on Shark Tank! I love my unit and highly recommend it. Thank you Gale!
Volkswagen Passat tdi ... there is a big community that you can support with your innovations..
I love banks
I know it will never happen, but I would love one for my 2002 Prowler
What exactly does it do? When you hit the throttle does it just send a signal to the CPU to push more fuel?
You are a magician or a hell of a great engineer! ...>>> I like to think with your own background, passion and patriotism seems to me you are both...
Wow, thank you! Love to hear this from our fans.
Will it work if I have a H&S Minimax already on my OBD port with a OBD two way splitter?
Will this work with an splitter? I currently have my cts3 hooked up
That did happen on a 2 lane rd while tryin to pass a Trouble Maker in the front of the pack, 80mph on the straight and 30mph in modest curves.
Needless to say the Wife's White Knuckles on the dash was her risking both hands IF the Air Bags Deployed.
Ram Turbo "Actuator's" need some serious attention.
Please add pedal lock feature that other devices like sprint booster has. There should be an option of keeping the pedal locked when the car turns on until a code is entered in app or iDash.... It should default to locked , and no need to lock it every time, however it should need an unlock code at startup (Exactly how your phone works)...
