Just received & installed my Banks "Stand Alone" PedalMonster on my 2020 F350 Platinum 6.7 Tremor Super Duty & went for a rip. It is a LOT fun!!! Especially in track mode!!
I haven't been back to Nova Scotia in a few years. You're cruising around my old stomping grounds, makes me want to take a trip home. Good vids dude.

Been thinking of a throttle booster for my 2018 Cummins for a long long time now. Sure happy I've delayed long enough to see that Banks Power now has the Pedal Monster out now. Just ordered mine lastnight, can't wait to get it and install. BTW, keep up the good content. I've been watching for awhile.

Just installed mine today, could not be any happier with it. I had my expectations after seeing all the reviews on UA-cam and other forums, but damn I could not keep that smile off my face. What a damn good product, who needs a delete and tune when you have this. My truck rips now... 0 to 100 real quick.

Got mine hooked to the derringer on 2020 Denali 3500hd dully and it’s in beast mode I don’t even wanna delete yet and in 1 sport it’s violent so imagine what the others do also derringer on just 2 anymore not towing ur doing 88 90 mph constantly lol love it

I have pedal commander on mine. Yes don't reverse in Sport plus 4. Almost backed through my garage door.

If you want to spin the tires click the TSC off button once, it will tell you TSC is off, then click and hold for advancetrac off.

Did you disconnect battery? My truck makes a popping noise when I push pedal hard in park does your do this?
On my truck you can press the traction control button and hold it for 7-8s and it will turn the advancedtrac off and will spin the tires. Not sure if that will work on the 2020’s though?
That’s what I did on the video. It sort of will but still cuts out after a short period😡
workplaytv I wondered if mine was starting to cut out as well but I haven’t pushed it enough to find out. I still remember the shock I had last year in the wet when I figured I just had to press the button once and I could start steering with the rear, then all of a sudden the front left brake is applied automatically to straighten the truck out lol. Gone are the days when you can go chuck your car or truck around the gravel roads like a maniac. I used to rally my Jetta so hard I had the tire shop scratching their heads and wondering how the heck I had gravel embedded in the bead of the tires 🤣

Press traction control once then a second time while holding down for ten seconds. Then you should be able to light the tires up
I just ordered my pedal monster for my 2021 F250 with a 7.3 godzilla. The instructions from banks talk about putting the truck in ignition mode by pressing the start button once or twice. If your truck has push button start did you push once or twice.

1. Why different modes if you can turn up each mode anyway? 2. If you want more get up and go couldn't you just hammer down everytime? Just wanting to know as this is not a tune but just a signal booster, or am I wrong in this?
My questions as well. It sounds like it's just controlling throttle response so all it is doing is making it so you don't have to push the pedal down as far physically in order to get the results. For those people with weak ankles maybe?
How does this affect dead pedal. Or when you are cruising and have to get on it my 2020 has a good delay. It isn’t turbo lag it’s built in torque management. Does it help with that

@@Outrider78 actually you can. I just made several changes to my 2021 F350. I purchased the 1 year license. You're able to access more modules. Also purchased the recommended OBD connector

That’s awesome! I really want to get the derringer, exhaust and this for my 19! I know what the Banks stuff did for my 07 6.0. I put everything they make into the 07 including the double shot water methanol. It absolutely destroys my 2019 6.7! I definitely miss not having the extra power every single day. The 6.7 is pretty boring stock lol

So essentially it’s just adding more throttle? I thought it might affect the speed at which the computer detects throttle or something like that. If all I gotta do is mash the throttle more I’ll save the money

Just installed it on my 2020 6.7 it is fun and works however the transmission is the problem trying to haul ass it just won't bang gears it insists on taking its time. So ya fun

Yes you can. This doesn’t give you actual power gains just better throttle response. Gives you the feel of more power.
I just put tunes in my 6.0 and my reaction was the same as yours with a bit more expletives! I can't imagine a 6.7!

I love my 19 F450 the way it is (stock), but there will come a time when I'm going to do these upgrades.
Right now, my focus is on my 78 bronco and 04 King Ranch 6.0.

I “had” this on my 2022 f350, yes it does make it haul ass, but ultimately this part was removed from my truck and I’ll be looking for a better pedal controller from someone else. The Banks is great, but you can’t switch on the fly when it’s sometimes needed. Too many idiot features built into the pedal monster. App only works at a sit still, but with the derringer gauge, you can switch on the fly as long as your off the accelerator, but I wasn’t about to buy a expensive gauge just to be able to do so. I’ll be going to pedal commander.

Yeah the truck ended up having the engine blowing up a few weeks later, got it fixed under warranty then the transmission went out, fine, it’s under warranty. After all that I was driving down the road and the driveshaft fell out, what a pile of junk, I bought a different truck after that, it all started with the vibration

Will it make a difference in the fuel consumption or Def consumption?
If you mash on it yes. You can always set it to stock or low on city. More fuel used=more def used. It’s so nice how it is easily adjustable.

All it does is multiply the throttle position input. It tells the drive by wire system you're full throttle even though you're only at 1/4 throttle. That's it.

nope, turbo lag is just because the turbo needs time to spool up from exhaust gasses.
It helps feel like that because oh the higher throttle percentage.

No

This will not improve performance at all. It just makes the throttle more sensitive, thus the impression of a more responsive vehicle. All this system does is modulate the throttle gain settings. It will not make your truck faster at all. You can mimmick this by just pushing down harder on the throttle and get the same response. Not sure what the point of a system like this is, other than creating the impression that you have more power than you actually have. You have to keep in mind that the actual throttle will open earlier and that you will lose sensitivity as you are getting closer to full pedal to the metal.
Your right and I mentioned that in the video. However I have towed with it now for 2 days on sport mode level 4 and it is much nicer! You would have to use it to really understand what I’m saying.
It's a gimmick to make money on those who are affraid of deleting.
