  • You can cycle from London Bridge station on the River Thames to Camberwell in south London in 15-20 minutes, entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes.
The route is around 4.5 km long (2.9 miles) and makes use of bits of Cycleway 14, Cycleway 10, Cycleway 17 and other quiet streets. It passes through Burgess Park and some low-traffic neighbourhoods, including Brunswick Park and Walworth.
By public transport the journey takes around half an hour, so it's quite a bit faster to cycle. It's also a very pleasant ride.
