The smp server is using a bunch of mods that is in common with FTB. And they have also a lot of mods that is not in FTB packs. Forgecraft 1 and 2 are mainly to beta test new updates to mods or new mods in general that they find interesting.
If you guys have railcraft in there, you should make a coke oven and put the coal coke in the steam engines for more durability. Nice episode by the way!
Hey guys! So I know Dire made this video ages ago, so giving him advice now would be pointless. BUT, I can give you guys who use his video as instructions on the game. The tinker's construct smelter gives you two bars for 1 ore, and it smelts 9+ ores at a time (depending on the size of the furnace). Anyway, to automate this smelter, simply place hoppers under the casting table, and place a redstone clock (Own block) right next to the valve where the liquids flow out.
The auto repair is far from fast enough to keep it full when your actively mining so it should come into effect, the auto repair just makes it unnecessary to manually repair it as long as you take breaks between mining sessions. There is a bug though, if you use the pick all the way until breaking it will auto repair back to full, but it will never change from "broken" status unless you manually repair it.
Because that is an early beta version of Tinkers' Construct the Smeltery was added in 1.5. Most mod authors aren't going to update an older deprecated version and have to maintain 2 separate versions
No its just a whole bunch of mods they thought would be cool and alot of WIP mods. But on his forums he usually has the mods. They wont be exactly the same because a lot of these mods are being tested for bugs. So if you dont mind older versions go to his forums which he has the address to in the description an install them OR use the Direwolf20 pack which is in the FeedTheBeast Launcher! Have a nice day :D

I feel like Dire might have been wrong; the ender tanks might have actually been rendering in hand and he just couldn't see it because the oil blends in with the base.

Dire wouldn't add any mods that would reset his world until he wants to end the series, so... He might add some, but others would fuck shit up...
Who needs an assembly table for that? Redstone Energy Cell (Emit if Full) -> NOT Gate -> Combustion Engine. This will send a redstone signal to the combustion engines when the Energy Cell is either Empty or Partially Full.

As a vanilla BC machine, won't refineries absorb as much power as you send their way, even if they don't use it? That would be why your redstone energy cell is draining so fast. I know I can send a full 100MJ/t at a BC pump and it will eat it all even if there is nowhere for the liquid to go.
in your .minecraft folder there is a folder called "config", if you have mods installed. In that folder you should find the configs (pretty obvious). Open them with e.g. Nootepad++ and in the most configs you should be able to change the IDs so there won't be any ID issues, when you start :)

I never understood why direwolf puts water blocks on the face of those auqaaccumalators, to my understanding, it should be the sides. So in other words, If the face is N, it would be...(assume top line is north, and middle is the face of the accumalator.) stone, stone, stone water, accumalator, water, stone, pipe, stone.
If you really want Forgecraft 2's modpack, just make it yourself. Building your own modpack isn't hard, and the pack you build yourself is always better and more fun than a premade pack.
dire the redstone engines turned red because the area wasnt chunk loaded, this happened to me in one of my worlds, left on an adventure and my home wasnt chunk loaded and when i came back all of my engines were stopped and red, you should be fine now

A cool thing a learned to the sickles can clear out tall grass and crops. I never see people us them enough!

No, it's usefull: when the pick is nearly broken, the auto-repair repairs it slowly so it doesn't run off and the stonebound effect is more efficient.

Dire, you need to turn your aqueous accumulator around. one of the water sources is adjacent to the front of the block - so it won't be used.

Yes it does. If you're mining pretty much, and your pick gets to 0 durabilty, it will autorepair... So you will pretty much exploit stonebound :)

If dire doesn't like the Derpy running he should look into the better sprinting mod. It helps a lot with the Derpy sprint thing
Actually, the durability doesn't restore as fast as it is used, it just prevents it from breaking down as quickly.

"The world holes" are caused by the vanilla game, and you can make them disappear by reloading chunks. You can achieve this by pressing F3+A. :)
Every time I watch a Forgecraft video, I feel glad the current pack isn't as buggy alpha-ish. But I do look forward to all the cool features.

EnderStorage itself does not have chunk loader, that is part of another of ChickenBones' mods, called ChickenChunks

I personally use a Diamond(+500), Emerald(+50%), Lapis(Luck), and Redstone(Haste) on my Manyullyn Pickaxe. It has 5250 uses.
You can make mossy cobblestone from cobblestone in liquid transposer. Much easier than 8 moss + 1 cobble = 1 mossy coble I suppose.

I'm able to run 2 36HP boilers of off one refinery and 3 36HP boilers of off one liquid accumulator 24/7.I'm quite sure, Dire, your setup is overkill
