This is great, thank you! But the one star doesn't make it bold, it makes it italic. Is there any way to make it bold? 🙏
you’re right! that’s a little mistake I made. Try 2 stars each in front and after the text
@@Medic_Dave @Taco Tube And 3 stars will make it italic and bold!
This video is a masterpiece! My god I'm impressed by how much you were able to cram into 6 minutes. This video opened my eyes to how powerful Logseq can be.
🙏🏻
@@Medic_Dave I'm using this to upskill in Logseq now, and I notice something out of date in this video (I think). Now, to get *bold* text I need to write either "**bold**" or "__bold__", and to get italic text I need to write either "*italic*" or "_italic_". The format for "^^highlights^^" is still the same. Additionally, customizing shortcuts seems to be different now since I can't find the option for customizations in Settings.
Why I like this video here in Dec 2022, even though you're demo'ing a much earlier version. I like how you get to the point, no wasted words. I wish others could learn how to do the same. I learned some things I didn't know. Thanks.
You’re welcome🙌🏼
David, thank you for this excellent, helpful, concise, and clearly presented video! If you can do some videos on walking people through using Logseq for various uses that would be great.
Amazing! so much wisdom in 6 minutes ! WOW
This is so helpful. Thank you so much! Danke!
You‘re welcome🙏🏻
Great. Thank you, David
Thanks David. This is excellent. Btw could you do a another video about Logseq with demonstrating your practical workflow on taking notes and writing. Thanks 🙏🏽
Thank you! Yes I can when I got time. I already uploaded a Logseq video about exam preparations, check it out:
ua-cam.com/video/hykAwCWfVoI/v-deo.html
Straight to the point! No time lost. Thank for the share.
May be add some plugin(s) explanations?
🙌🏼Thank you for the request!
Compact and informative. Thank you
Glad this video is useful!
This is an extremely high quality informational video. Fucking well done mate!
this was really useful.
Most useful video about logseq
This was extremely helpful, thank you. I'm seeing if Logseq is a viable FOSS alternative to Obsidian for me.
Brilliant!
thx!
Awesome information density here :)
Thank you!
Great tips
Thank you for the helpful video.
I‘m glad it’s useful!😊
Very insightful video.
🙏🏻😁
Thank You
Amazing, thank you
👍🏻
Thanks!👋🏻
you‘re welcome👍🏻
Thank you for the videos! Please can you show how you use obsidian for medical school? I'm about to begin studying medicine soon and I'm trying to understand the best way to utilise obsidian. Thank you!!
I‘m glad this channel is useful to you! Sure when I got time!
Awesome! Thanks
Thanks a ton. Extremely helpful. How to integrate with Anki?
super important as its not obvious but turning existing text into page is done by selecting text and pressing [ twice
you would think this would delete text or cut text insert brackets and paste text
Super helpful video. I've been trying to choose between obsidian and remnote for medschool and stumble upon your channel. I didn't know Logseq had flashcards as well. In your opinion, what's the best tool? Thank you for the video!
I‘m glad this channel helps you! I can‘t tell you anything about Remnote because I don‘t use it, but Obsidian and Logseq are in my opinion both equally good for medschool! Though Obsidian has more features, logseq is constantly making updates every day, so we can expect more from them in the near future🤔
and yes the flashcard Feature in logseq is really useful for medschool!
@@Medic_Dave Thank you! There is a bunch of information about remnote in medschool, but not so much about other platforms. At least, I haven't found it.
@@mariagerm4262 So your medschool recommends remnote?🤔 that‘s interesting!
@@Medic_Dave Not at all. I meant that there is a lot of information on how to use remnote as a medical student (UA-cam and discord). Sorry for the mistake.
Thank you for this!
Question: have you found a comfortable way to use Logseq PDF annotation on a tablet?
thank you!
👍🏻
Excellent job. One question. Is it possible to open a new window on Mac Desktop app?
thanks! it's great. At 5:05 you mention that the [[ ]] makes the text messy and it's better to use the topic at the end. Do you mean that hashtags are better than [[ ]] to make pages?
Nice one
Thanks!
my Logseq doesnt have the option "open" for open a local directory. I'm strungling with that... someone can help me with that?
***a found that in "all graphs" on the left side bar
Brother whenever i click bullet it lends me into new page and open the code view .
What‘s your opinion about Logseq?🤔
It is a great tool. You explained very well
@@SanjeevSanskrit Thank you so much!😊
Very well done! But for me too fast... I had to watch even at 0.5 to grasp everything ;-)
Thank you! Oh I see, I‘ll do slower next time:-)
better than obsidian
When starting the app I get a warning: "This is a demo graph, changes will not be saved until you open a local folder." This seems to be a common confusing message to new users, but there is not a lot of help on what we need to do. Can you provide an explanation of what this means and what the user needs to do?
Moving blocks upwards and downwards with Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down does not work for me. (Windows 10)
Its Alt+Shift+Up/Down on Windows.
I want to use this. But I'm on android. And it falls down immediately. Enter doesn't create new blocks. I don't get bullet points. It's a mess.
Love it! I'm moving over to Logseq from Obsidian because I realized Obsidian wasn't open-source like Logseq is. I'm going to watch this video in parts to slowly start utilizing each part! Thanks for making it.
For those who don't know, I have a fabulous head of hair that is the envy of every man older than myself.

I'm sorry I didn't get any of it. Far too quick for me .Basics like creating first note I think were missing
Thank you for the feedback👍🏻
I think there are more basic tutorials of Logseq on the youtube platform
@@Medic_Dave thanks for your reply. Keep up the good work
You can slow down playback.
