- The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 Sedan is one of those car's I looked at, and just rolled my eyes... oh how WRONG I was!
This luxury electric car, costing about $160,000 on-the-road here in Australia, is one of those cars you need to experience to believe. It has a magic carpet ride, quality interior and beautiful looks. Does that mean it's flawless? Absolutely not, but in today's review, we're going to talk about why the EQE 350 SMASHED my expectations!

That consumption was most likely a result of your lead foot, during summer (20ish degrees celsius) I was getting 16-17 kWh/100km with 350 4Matic. During winter (-10c) it is 24-25.
Will it catch on fire?
Only after the fire has spread from your ICE car
It's a very small boot for the size of the car. Definitely much smaller boot than the C class and 3 series

When we went down a couple of years ago to the UK, we had a rental car, and that was a Mercedes-Benz wagon which was a hybrid, but it was the AMG Line
And I did not like it suspension was really firm. And it also had the same touchscreen as in this car, and it was not very good to use on the road and strangely enough, it had a foot handbrake, and it also had a gear shifter and the stalk, and when you use the indicator, accidentally knock it and turn it into neutral

After 7-8 month, I regret. I even had no choice selecting on color since there was limit w/ bunch waitting listi.
First of all, This is too light weight...I mean it is light but as EV it even feels much much lighter. it should at least have options to select engine sounds for individual preference which gives sort of sense that add weight to acceleration. and for the safety. It's super quiet(dangerious factor when people walking in front of me since they cant hear car coming at all) and torque is very high at start as if I'm dring half the price sports car. It feels like 100mph when I'm riding at 100mph and shaky unlike other model w/ this price would feel much smooth quiet and stady as if im dring at only 50mph during at 100mph.
Second, the bottom fender is way too low... I contantly scratching the bottom even with low road bumps.
Third, its one of distinctive feature is handle. This model doesnt have manual door locks inside but all auto or can be controlled by driver...and its most downside is when people trying to get in from outside. This model has hidden handle but it will pop out and watch out for fingers...it doesnt have sensor and it could broke your finger if it gets pull back while your fingers and holding the handle.
Overall, this model design aesthetics are minimalism. but they took out all the options that I see from other models in this price range in the name of minimalism.
oh and becareful with big screen connected to your account when you are not alone in the car. Theres no private and you might confront some embarrassed moment if not careful. Its like you're sharing your phone wide open with all
I’m sorry but these new Mercedes Benz EVs are extremely ugly personal opinion. I also do not rate Mercedes Benz anymore they do not build cars like they used to. If you buy an 80s early 90s Mercedes it will keep running until the end of time. These days they are just like any other brand. They fall apart after 5 years or so. I should know I’m a mechanic who has to fix these darn things when they break down. which if it is a modern Mercedes Benz is almost a certainty. They will break they have far too many computers which will ultimately fail at some point.
Please stop gushing & swooning over the three pointed star. It’s just badge. Most Mazda or Honda models run rings around Mercedes these days. What ever happened to engineered like no other car.
I agree 100%, I also run an automotive service and repair shop and modern Mercedes and BMW are cheaply made badge snobbery. Audi are beginning to feel like Skoda and some models no longer feel special. If you want reliable and fun, buy Mazda or Honda. If you are OK with boring but reliable, buy Toyota.
People are blinded by badge loyalty. Toyota is just as unreliable but their marketing and propaganda budget is too high so people still buy their shit. Fuck MB and Toyota.
Buy Mazda or Korean for value and reliability.
Trust me the EQE interior quality is super sub par I don’t know how they say it’s solid. Push or pull on anything and it’s loose

I’m honestly not sure how you came to such a different conclusion than me. The car has low range, high price tag, ugly exterior design and horribly built interior components. Not trying to hate but it’s an objectively bad car for the money.
It's ugly, it's not that powerful and it's way overpriced. Yeah I'd rather buy a BMW IX or I4 or a new I5
