Reminded me on how people fix things in the Philippines. No need for fancy hydraulic press. Bravo. Thx for posting
Excellent video, very easy to understand, I’m gonna replace both bearings in my Camry with just your instructions!! Thank you
Thanks
@@BulletSolano >u I
Very good video. Makes me believe a regular person can replace one without a tire shop doing the work. 😉
Thanks
Carnalito, Than you for taking the time to show the way you doit. Excellent! I have a 12 ton bench press but sometimes is a pain in the rear because of the shape of the knuckle. Your method is easy much more practical and the tools take less room. Thanks again with respeto to your skills.
My pleasure bro
I've got a 15 AWD Honda CRV and this video is probably the closest setup I've seen yet on youtube. That's awesome that you did it basically on the ground without using a bench vice because I dont have one either and now i know that it's possible to replace front pressed in bearings without needing a press.
Excellent video, very detailed and easy to understand! Thank you sir!!
If I attempted what you just showed me the next stop for my 2011 would be the junk yard. Thanks for putting the brakes on my do it yourself idea.
Excellent video, only issue is when I worked at mechanics shop we were instructed to lubricant bearings and press ins great video
Excellent video for those that want to be mechanics without all the super fancy tools! Gonna use these instructions this week-end, keep you posted!
Thanks
Thank u. Just redid my Camry. Your video was great and I bought the same tools you have to do it
Thanks man! You got me threw one bearing.. Now doing the other side. Great video.
you made it look easy my friend!!! great job!!!
Thanks
Guys, never put the retainer ring until hub is fully installed. Otherwise, you can ruin the bearing because the tool bushing does not come in contact flush with the bearing due to the thickness of retainer ring while installing the hub. This causes the inner race of the bearing to be pushed out as much as the thickness of the retainer ring. I made the mistake of installing the retainer ring right after the bearing was pressed in but before the hub was installed. And I wasted a bearing and had to start all over again which was a big bummer. Do not make the same mistake I made.
Thx bro
Thanx bro ! You video was super helpful I was able to do Both side on my Camry
No problem
Thank you. Good job on the video. God bless you❤❤❤😊
Amazing video thanks for your explanation of the procedures
Great video. Next time I’d recommend using NSK or KOYO bearings on a Toyota. Duralast are pretty low end
Customer’s car, he get the parts I put them on! I know autozone sucks
@@BulletSolano Yeah I get that. I have customers bring me all sorts of stuff haha. Appreciate the link to the bearing removal kit. The one I have isn’t very useful for Toyota/Lexus, so I typically use a buddies press. This method is much easier 🤙🏻
Thank you so much for this video, I have my bearings to do and this really helps!😊👍
Very nicely done
Many thanks for the upload
I have an avensis deisel 2012 , I was wondering how similar they are.
I bought the front hub and bearing already assembled how you install that?
If your bearing is already one piece you have to remove the axle nut and probably 3 or 4 bolts from the back to remove the bearing assembly
excellent job. Please let me know what brand you used? where did you buy it. I have camry 2013 le model. not sure where to buy and what brand? thanks
Customer get them at advance auto parts
@@BulletSolano what brand? the one you used in your video is 1A auto brand?
Long time ago, I’m not sure what bearing are those, check in advance or Napa
The notch at the end of retaining clip was broken off on mine. I drilled into the clip with a 1/8" bit (go slow and use lots of oil, and be careful not to go all the way through, then you can jam a punch into the hole and pry the clip out.
One more question, Bullet: Did you have to do wheel alignment after the job? I guess it is good thing to do anyway but was wondering if the wheel alignment went out of whack after taking the whole thing off and putting it back on. Thanks again.
Customer’s car, I think he did the alignment
But yes you have to do it
If you want to use the old hub, what is the good way to cut the remnant of the bearing stuck on the hub to get it off?
Dremel or angle grinder
@@BulletSolano Thanks for reply!
Excellent video. Very well done and explained. Thanks.
Make sure what side of the bearing is towards the inside. It matters for the wheel speed sensors.
lol he said that at the beginning
@@christophershanklin112 damn! That was a year ago?
QUESTION: my Camry has over 200k miles on it do you recommend replacing the hubs or can I get by with just bearing replacement?
It all depends on how bad the hubs are, probably it will be a good idea to replace them
Straight forward Bro.
Great job. I have the same car. This will definitely help me. Thanks
Is there no way to remove the hub using the tool you have instead of hammering?
What? You asking if I can remove the hub with the tool????
@@BulletSolano Your answer says: No. Thanks
How long was the entire process for you from start to finish. not the video time stamp... great video mi amigo!
Thanks, with out recording is about two hours
I am doing this job on the same 2011 Camry.. Which way does the wheel bearing go in does it have a magnet I can't tell with my new bearing.
Put a metal clip on both sides to see if it is magnetic
@@BulletSolano I did it falls off both sides ..does it mean it doesn't matter? But the abs sensor drops in front of the ring when installed 😵💫
It doesn’t matter
Good video brother, I'm currently doing the same job however I can get the top strut bolts to align it seems like there's some tension causing it not the align, any tips I can do to have everything align.
Thanks brother and greetings from Los Angeles ✌
You have to pull and push the strut assembly and put a pry-bar inside the hole to get it align
I just wonder how tie I have to do the Axle nut everything I can do it but that nut is my only worry if I leave or lose or to tied.
217 lb ft

Good video man! What size bolt do you use to remove brake disk? Thanks much!
12mm
Excellent video presentation! Thank you!
Which side the duralst bearing goes for the abs
Doesn’t matter, abs is not reading on the bearing is reading on the axle
What is the bearing removal tool you used? Thanks
Link in the description
Did the axle nut spin in freely? I changed out my bearings and hub and find that the new axle nut does not spin in freely although it does fit. I’m just wondering if it’s meant to be a very tight fit so it doesn’t spin back out. I’ve heard that they’re a one time use.
Yes they’re one time use
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
Excellent!!
Great vid man! Thanks for the help!
Thank you
Great video and details
Hello Sir, i have a 2011 toyota avalon with V6 3.5 liter evrything will be the same as this video Right?
Yes, is the same
@@BulletSolano Where can you buy the tool that remove bearing?
amzn.to/3kaXJTc
Pretty good! I have the same wheel bearing kit.
Nice
thanks man! great content
You must support the inner bearing race to install the spindle, not the outer.
It’s supporting the entire bearing, same thing
@@BulletSolano No, it is not.
@nccognito2324 it is
@@BulletSolanoYou take the opportunity to destroy the new bearing.
As far l know, you cant put the retainer ring in until the bearing is fully seated in the housing ...
Great video sir, thank you!
Very good video excellent!
you make it look easy.
I noticed you didnt apply any grease.
they come already pre greased?
This bearings are sealed no grease need it
How do you remove the hub with the dented in nut? I used a punch tool but it broke, also, when I tried using a breaker bar to break off the nut, it broke the breaker bar.
You saw the video, get another punch tool, and bigger breaker bar
Great video, thank you.
No problem
How do you call the tools for that?
amzn.to/3RcjX7B
Thanks for the excellent job.
Thanks for watching
Where you get that bearing removal kit and what brand is it? Cool video btw
The link is in the description
I bought mine from Amazon for about $86.
You can borrow one of those from Autozone or any other major auto parts stores. They ask for a deposit and when you bring it back they give your money back.
You must live in the West Coast, LOL. Try doing this on a New York camry haha you're gonna need power tools or a hydraulic press. Nice work though :)
I live in Georgia, that’s the reason I don’t like up north, I have family in Indiana and every time I go there I work on cars with my brother in law, is crazy how he do that every day
@@BulletSolano yea man it’s no joke. I wish I lived out there. When I saw you bang out the bearing with the hammer I laughed (then started to cry) haha. I’m like man it MUST BE NICE! I have the beefy Milwaukee 1/2 and 2 3/8 impacts to get the job done. They have saved my ass but still some jobs are still ridiculously difficult. I use torch’s and all that to get stuff done.
Crazy man
thank you for the video
No problem
Thanks a looot!
Thank you sir.
Great job sir.
Thanks

Thanks, Atlanta GA
oh i’m in Florida but i use your video and order the parts so i’m going to continue with my brother to get it fix .Your video is straight to the point
Why not just buy the whole knuckle assembly for $200 and replace it in half the time with removing the bearing.
You do that, I’ll do this
Not all my clients have the money you do
Wow,$200. really, is it good quality? Pls. Tell me where to buy
This is a K I C K - A S S V I D E O - T hank you ! ! !
I wanted to see last part when you put the hub back on axel you cut it out
6:43 baseball player.
u damaged the abs magnetic ring
I don’t think so
How did he damaged it?
Uh that looks like a Toyota Sienna
Good job
