The exhaust sound on my 2023 SG is definitely better than my old 2020 one, so much so that I won't be bothering with a Stage 1. A great bike to ride.
I'm stuck between this and the Fat Bob. Not ridden either yet, but in the showroom, the Sport Glide feels so comfortable for my 6'4 frame. I welcome your thoughts.
got to ride both. then sit and think about which you liked more for a month or two, then go ride them again, before making any decision.

Yes, it is
Give the motor with stock exhaust 15k miles and it will indeed sound a bit throatier than when new. Owner of 2018 Sport Glide, stock exhaust, stock air cleaner, 25k miles. This bike rides surprisingly close to a Low Rider S, handling wise, just a little smaller engine, tuned more for torque and cruising than massive mid range torque and big horsepower. It's a Cruiser, lacking neither torque or HP. A great Cruiser on a softail chassis for the Baby Boomer types, retirement age, or kids long gone out of the house.
