Ive been using the acne control cleanser for almost 3 weeks now. I’ve noticed a drastic change in my breakouts. However, this past week my face has been super dry. I don’t know if it’s from the cold weather or the cleanser. But I apply hyaluronic acid serum and moisturizer.

This is very informative ty, but I do have a question I've been going back in forth I recently just tried the acne control foam cleanser on my skin it. Was completely irritated since I'm on tretinoin I use it one a week, and I just wanted something gentle yet effective my issue now is dark marks, and irritation I tried the cerave moisturizer but it burnd so bad and I got little bumps on my face so now I just need a good moisturizer that's gentle for my type of skin it's very sensitive, and dry. Any recommendations .

when i apply my serums on my face i always notice soap suds on my chin. i know that i’m rinsing it all off and always make sure to use a wash cloth to rinse my skin. i’m not sure why this is happening, buts it’s driving me insane. i use this cleanser too.
dry chin latching onto the soap and the serum bringing it back out was it for me.
I have hormonal acne it’s not that bad but I get pimples every so often not cystic but yk . However, I did get the acne control gel with bp aha and bha etc .
I have hormonal acne too, but it really helps you control how fast they will be cured, it has also significantly reduced redness and pain for me :) I saw visible results after 2 weeks of use though.

Hi beautiful!!! I’m a 16 year old girl, who has practiced skincare for 5 years now. I have always had ghe cleared skin, hormonal breakouts now and then, but Otherwise NO ACNE. Now, i’ve gotten acne and it’s destroyed my confidence. I do everything, and research everything. It’s gotten worse the last couple of weeks. I’ll buy some products next saturday, and thought of just buying 2,5% Benzon peroxide and a scentless moistutizer. After watching your vid, i’m thinking of going with the BP cleanser. However, i always use ordinary serums on my skin. Should i skin the toner and serum on my acne area (cheek and chin) and just moustirize imdeiately?
dont add too many products too soon wait for the other ones to get used to your skin
Really enjoyed this video! I was back and forth between the sa renewing cleanser and the acne control one but now I’m confident that the acne foaming cream cleanser is the best for me because I have the puss filled pimples 😭.
I do have an actual benzoyl peroxide treatment (Paula’s choice) so I’m considering just buying one of the salicylic acid cleansers for now while I use that and then switch to the cleanser and get my benzoyl peroxide that way 😊.

I kno this is old but I use my benzoyl peroxide at night (panoxyl) and salicylic acid in the morning (cerave)
@@kailester4807 all good lol, thanks! How has that been working for you? I stopped using bp all over my face because it was too drying so I only use it as a spot treatment and that helps. The cleanser I have with sa is used in the evening since I only rinse my face with cold water in the morning (that works best for me).
I dilute it with a another facial cleanser (biore, clean and clear)cuz it’s so strong it’ll irritate my skin. I found out it’s also good for bikini area and has helped with my hair bumps and dark spots. I know it’s not marketed for that but it helps😊. And I use thayers salicyclic moisturizing cream down there for moisture. I don’t put it inside “my box” tho.

The acne foaming works well for me without sunscreen idk why the sun isnt really out here much but i have the mosturizing cream too
You can use any sunscreen. Using BP and SA without sunscreen can cause acne.

You can still use it… you should be fine. I never used the SA Renewing Cleanser but I’m sure the Acne Foaming is better for pimples.
@@nopeee._703 go look at all of the reviews on you tube. The Sa cleanser is really good as well. There is alot of dermatologist on here to help.
Just bought this one yesterday as it has 2% salycilic acid. When I run out of my cerave SA cleanser (it has 0.05% salycilic acid) I’ll switch to this one.

I just got the BHA one. I use panoxyl as a face mask after cleansing every night, and a BHA gel once a week to exfoliate. My skins great..

I honestly wouldn’t recommend it… it will cause severe skin irritation. If you use them on alternate days you would need a few days in between… maybe more. It’s risky!

The acne foaming cleanser really works it did take me 3 months to fully get get of pimples I am now thinking of transitioning to the acne control now since I no longer have pimples….still looking for sunscreen that’s not oily though if anyone has any suggestions
the AM cream from cerave is great it's a sunscreen and moisturizer at the same time, it's fragrance free and not oily at all. I've been using it for almost 4 months and I love it as it didn't clog my pores.

I’ve been accidentally using it as a cream… leaving it on and letting it soak in…. I did that h the I read the label. But it really does act like a cream, as I’ve had no breakouts, my skin feels soft, and not as oily for the day. Is this bad? Can someone please recommend me a cream I can use?

do NOT do any diy acne at home unless it's honey , honey is soothing and hydrating but besides that DO NOT GONTO PINTEST AND TRY A CINNAMON MASK , EGG MASK, NONE OF THAT. Trust me i did. it in high school , im a freshman in college now, just stick to the drugstore skin care that suits ur needs

I have the benzol peroxide version and it dried my pimples. It kills bacteria. If I have no pimples anymore I use it when Im super sweaty.
I think the salicylic acid one is fine for the days between because the other one is strong.
I am also eating doxylin infection pills to kill the infection that is under my skin that is causing the consistent acne.
I moisturize only with a sunscreen because double moisturizing is unnecessary for the skin.
What pills, please?

I think you’re using too many acids at the same time. You don’t need to use BHA and Salicylic Acid because it’s the same thing. Salicylic acid breaks down oil, so I wouldn’t use it daily especially on dry skin/combo skin. AHA doesn’t treat or prevent acne.
Use the CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser, CeraVe Retinol Resurfacing Serum, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, and add a HA serum if needed.

look at bioline milk-cleanser Jato. Was recommended by my dermatologist. It's very gentle unlike this one. Takes some time to see results but it works.And definitely not suppose clog up your pores.:)

@@rrihk fair, unless your skin is used to using both, it's still better to use one until your skin is used to it.
(Theorizing here) I'm thinking that by using both it might cause your skin to overly dry hence it compensates by producing more oil which may cause acne.

The side effects of salicylic acid are burning, redness and skin irritation. Slowly incorporate it into your routine.
