I have ethnic skin type, sensitive skin, oily skin, pores, milia near eyes, tiny bumps on face, mouth around pigmentation, white heads. 100% suited to me. I am using it from past 1 week twice daily and not oily much, no milia or bumps, face skin became supple, white heads gone, have the feeling that some tiny pores have become shrinken. I will continue it.
does this cleanser turns the closed comedones into cystic acne? because i started using thiss just 2 3 dayss ago and i had only closed comedones but after using this i got painful cystic acne in the same area where I have closed comedones. can i use it twice a day? i have oily acne prone skin
This is quite normal, it is called the purging phase. When using a new product your skin will “purge”. To see the true results from a new skincare product keep using daily for a month (~6 weeks)!
@@tippilam8219 Thats irritation. You should stop using this cleanser. Some of the reasons can be that you never actually used niacinamide or salicylic asid and they are very strong exfoliants so if you should try something that's more gentle to your skin.
@@SkinZoneTV i believe my skin is quite sensitive, i think i used this product wrong, im going to stop using it for a bit and wait for my skin to not be as dry as now, then ill use it again. before i used to put it on my face, not rub it on my palms and i didnt wash it off. i think that was the problem.
It definitely needs washing off as it's a cleanser. However if you have a drier /sensitive skin type this won't be a suitable cleanser for you. See how you go but you may be better off with another cleanser from there range :) @@chillfrosted2670
@@SkinZoneTV ive just been using SPF 25 moisturising lotion for now to fix up the dryness, and ditching the cleanser. do you think i should go back to the cleanser reapplying it properly? i still have quite a lot.
@@chillfrosted2670 You still need to have a cleanser in your skincare routine but if you have an impaired skin barrier, opt for a milk or cream cleanser. What was your skin like before you tried this cleanser?
As i understood from other UA-camrs that they’re both basically the same for different markets ( the US & UK )… the acne control one being the US version.
@@walkthrough1234I dont think so….bc both are available in shops. And….this one has benzoyl peroxide which is another acne treatment ingredient. Small difference I guess….. also debated which one I should get
Yes you can use for body acne. Where is your body acne? And how much do you have? You may find you go through more product using all over the body but you may be better off getting a tea tree body wash or a body wash with salicylic acid in it x
It depends on your acne type but it’s okay to try won’t make any damage and u did’t say which moisturising are you talking about the facial for oily skin or the moisturising lotion for Normal to dry skin?

This is my favorite Cerave cleanser
Have you tried the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser? What are your thoughts? xx

Can i use resurfacing retinol serum after using this cleanser? Thank u
I have combination skin with blemish what’s best for me to use?
Hi.. After using this for 1 week my skin had a breakout with mini pimbles/bumps and my cheeks are jst breaking out 😭😭😭... Should i keep using?
Omg same! Used it for 3 months. I think the blemish control cleanser might have caused the bumps on my cheeks… might stop using it
@@tippilam8219 i stopped using it yesterday and switched back to the foaming cleanser and the bumbs on my forehead already decreased in size

this cleanser has literally dried out my skin and its taken quite a while to minimise it
What skin type do you have? I would recommend to use a different cleanser x

Mine has a “cleaning product” smell to it. Is that normal?
What is the difference of this product tO cerave acne comtrol. Cleanse 2 percent salacylic acid. Or just new packaging?

I have a dry skin can i use this blemish control cleanser
It may be too drying, I would opt for a more gentle hydrating cleanser x
Does it good for body acne too or only for face?

i have an oily skin with acne i got this to use and i also got a moisturising lotion do you think i should use those both ?
Is it the SPF moisturiser lotion?
It depends on your acne type but it’s okay to try won’t make any damage and u did’t say which moisturising are you talking about the facial for oily skin or the moisturising lotion for Normal to dry skin?
Buy a matt finishing moisturizer. For example La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat.
Can i use this cleanser twice a day( morning and evening) everyday?
Or should i use this cleanser weekly?
You can use the clenser morning and evening. If you also use the gel it's recommended to only use in the evening.
Would you recommend implementing a double cleansing routine with an additional oil cleanser with this one?
You sure can, oil cleanser first followed by this cleanser x
i use it and it caused me breakouts for months should i stop using it ?
Try removing it from your routine, and try a different cleanser to see if your breakouts clear up
same to me, i already removed it from my routine to see if that is the actual problem
Can use for oily skin
yes :)
It gave me blackheads
Can I still use a niacinamide serum after?
Yes because you wash off the cleanser :)
Any updates!?
Does this work on inflammatory acne as well (red spots)?
yes it is only a cleanser, so it won't reduce the redness. You will need the correct serums to address the redness and acne.
@@SkinZoneTV i have red with white top acne on my neck. What should i use for this?
Can i use acretin or retinol along with the cleanser?
No because this cleanser have niacinamide and salicylic asid in it so its not good to mix them with retinol. It can cause irritation.

You use a cleanser every day ongoing. It doesn't have to be this one, but cleansing is apart of your routine
how long should u wait to see if it works b4 results
Hey there, it will depend on your skin concerns, skincare routine and what actives you are using as serums
@@SkinZoneTV thanks🙏
Can combination skin use this
Yep,I have combo skin and I’ve been using it for a week now and some of my acne is alr clearing
What do you mean by double clense

Yes you can x
What? Thats good a soft skin as man wtf 😂
@@SkinZoneTVIs it okay to use cerave acne acne gel after?
I never knew "real men" were supposed to feel like sand paper 😂
How long should you leave the gel on your skin before washing it?
Hello :) it is a cleanser so you will cleanse the skin is upward movements for a mute or so and then rinse.
Can I use this cleanser and The Ordinary Lactid acid 10% 2x times a week at night?
I’m not a dermatologist.
Can you use it on more dry skin types?
I would opt for another cleanser as you may find this one to drying on your skin x
U don't even show
Cant find this in the us 🥲
I believe it is the Acne Control Cleanser in the US :) but the same product. Something to do with regulations
