Interesting list. I agree with you about Ben Affleck's Batman there was a lot of potential there and I always was intrigued because this was a Batman who had fought his entire rogue's gallery by the time he met Superman so there's a lot of history there which I always thought was cool. I thought Ben was a pretty good Bruce Wayne actually too. It'll be interesting to see who plays Batman in the new DCU.
@@TheAngryAardvark7 wow yeah that’s something I didn’t even think about, that’s really cool! And yes I’m dying to know who will be Batman in the DCU!
this is shocking
All I will say is that Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne is not Bruce Wayne yet. It’s like the psychology from Batman Forever where we are seeing him still stuck, mentally, in crime alley and all he cares about is “vengeance”. He doesn’t see himself as a hero, he doesn’t see himself as Bruce Wayne, he sees himself as Vengeance, so much to the point of not caring wether the company his father built comes crashing to the ground or not. He doesn’t care that that is what is able to find his vigilante spree. So I don’t think it’s really fair to judge his “Bruce Wayne” when the character hasn’t even cared to show up in the light of day since his parents died. Let his Bruce Wayne develop and then feel free to judge it like the others because there is literally nothing to judge it against since this is the first time we see this side of him.
@@jamesdaniels8007 I hear ya, and I hope you’re right… again that’s why I stated I’m excited for the development of him in Part 2… I do believe they will evolve his character and my gripe with it won’t be a thing anymore bc it’ll be apart of his character arch…
But as of right now based off what we got, I can only base things off what we see and where we’re at, and sadly we have to wait a total of 5.5 years to find out if my assumptions and yours will come true or not. But everything you said is valid and interesting comparison with the Batman Forever that I will consider upon rewatch.
I'm geussing you've never picked up a comic book before what do you mean Adam west isn't the real caped crusader he's the most accurate batman you know the comics where like the TV series for 2 decades
Rob 🐐
Pattinson was OK in the suit, but that shirtless scene destroys all suspension of disbelief for me. The detective part of his movie was pretty decent. Affleck was the biggest surprise for me. I was very skeptical when they announced his casting. But I ended up really liking his Batman way more than I thought I would. I had a Lego Batman mask that was pretty good for wearing over glasses, but I can't find it right now.
Yea he’s grown on me now, a little too late… biggest What If? Imaginable… really wish we got one solo film with him, it’s a shame
