Hi. Is there any difference in harvesting? I mean after grafting i should just use the same method for cutting tops of luphophora, and hopefully it will regenate? Thanks infos in advance🙏🏻
Dude this is great I have several ceaspiatosa plants that have 15 or more buttons so I can easily do this and increase my peyote plant stock is there a way to de-graft later to a shallower stock when ot gets huge?
The peyote won’t die like that with the plastic around it srry for dumb questions just got into the peyote an San Pedro scene an I really wanna graph a couple peyote to couple rare San Pedro’s I have buddy told me to us rubber bands but sure if that will hurt the peyote as well any info will help thank u
Hi Eren, it's Öz, I've been waiting for this, now i have the confidence to do it on my own thanks for the video. Indeed it's fastening the growth rate of peyote, but the thing is, my peyotes keep giving birth to sidelings, but I assume by this method, we increase the growth by sacrificing the birth of sidelings, am i right? Can you feed us with how it grows in next couple of weeks?
do you bother digging out the stock when degrafting? i've left it a bunch of times and seem like the plants still do fine, but others say you need to get in there and cut it all out. thoughts?
I usually try to remove it all. I'm sure that it will be fine without doing it sometimes but there is always a chance of the portion that is not removed rotting and then spreading to the peyote.
sounds like you are talking about degrafting from pereskiopsis, in which case, yes you ought to dig out the stock. However, when degrafting from trichocereus or some other similar stock, there's no stock to dig out. it'll be obvious to you when you see it.
@@yaddahaysmarmalite4059 yeah i hear a lot of people suggesting dig it all out. i did hundreds on year and didn't dig any out. some didn't root/died but the majority are still here looking great. prefer trichs now.
@@yaddahaysmarmalite4059 I actually ended up finding a study that alkaloids were pretty much normal, tha alkaloids are produced in the close to the outer layer of skin , so the more surface area the more alkaloid production
My friend, will the root grow new buttons?
Depends how much you left
I’d love to hear the uploaders take on this
Thnak you for this awesome video! 🌵
You're welcome 😁
*Please do video on degrafting! Edit: thank you for not putting music in there. I like how focused this was*
You can also do the same with the bottom half of the button as what's to often preferred as a butt grapht
Amazing content! Thank you
Thank you for your videos and advice!!!
Thank you for this very interesting video!
You're very welcome. 🙂

How long does the peyote take to mature to full dose in this state?
Amazing video thank you so much you got a new subscriber for sure my man
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 🙂
Is it possible to create a permanent graft, or would the scion generally grow too big for the stock to support?
Thanks, cool video!
You're welcome 😁

What kind of cacti are best to grow peyote on not to disturb chemical content or it doesn't matter ?

Can fet one please
You sell seeds and cactuses how do I get some ?
If you Google peyote seeds for sale shops will pop up you can order from. You can buy all the way from seeds to larger plants.
Hope this helps 👍
Do you happen to know how this affects alkaloid content
alkaloid content increases with age not size.
