Here's a grafting video Roy and Eric made. We just need to say that we actually just soak the stock for a few hours, remove them from soaking trays, and then let the plants suck up that water for at least 24 hours, so that they are nice and pumped up. In the video I say soak for 24 hours, which may hurt roots. We had to cut out the Euphorbia grafts for time, but we will include them in a future video. Enjoy!
Thank you Erick, Great video, learned a few tricks from you on grafting. I recently bought bonide sulphur that's 90% sulphur, 10 % wetting agent. Can i dust my trichocereus after taking a cutting with this type of material; wetting agent?
I give my top plant a twist to get juice to moving. On my really delicate ones I use a plastic wrap to hold it on there. If too dry you can use juice from Echinocereus Viereckii Morricalii to add moisture.
Best grafting video Ive seen by far. Awesome. Sidenote; i saw that one of your myrtillo root stocks had some scarring or corking spots. I have some that are doing that. Do you know what causes that? Neem oil or inseticidal soap?
Is it possible to graft a madagascar palm branch? My branch broke off and lost its symmetry so I want to graft one to give it's shape back. Thanks Eric!
Hello, what is the spray liquid you used during the vaccination process in your video? And what is the powder you sprinkle on the grafted plant after grafting, and how long do you leave it on?
so pumping up the stock and scion prior to making the cuts is what makes it unnecessary to put the graft in high humidity during the healing process? I suppose too that it matters what one's relative humidity is.
Can you tell me a good brand and style of super sharp knife to use ? Not many good choices in my area . When I order online, I’m always disappointed. They’re not as sharp as advertised and don’t sharpen well. I end up crushing instead of cutting . Thank you for the in depth video! Very helpful 😊
By far, one of the best grafting videos I've seen so far!
Perfect how to vid, thanks for sharing your knowledge in a way that makes sense to regular bros.
Interesting and informative video! It's great to see our favorite local nursery making videos.

I will never graft. But I did watch this all and felt like it was good information and could give it a go if I went for it 😅
Thanks Erik for sharing what you know. Super informative and I appreciate you sharing. I’ll be sure to pass it on!
I hope to see more grafting videos. Ive seen many and yours is definitely one of the most informative and entertaining.
This video gives me a lot of encouragement on trying to graft. Sooner I will 🙏
The first part is kinda makes my imagination going. Nice video though. I've learned quite a lot

Where can I get a bunch of dragon fruit cuttings?
What i learned most is... When it's hard, it's good for grafting. Yes it is 😉

Love & update 😎😎😎
What do you use on root stock tip cuts? Do you use Sulphur or rooting hormone or nothing? How long you store before you root them? Thanks!
Fantastic video, thanks for sharing, I have a question regarding your next video: is it possible to graft cacti on euphorbia's ???
No sorry euphorbia are succulents. You can only graft euphorbias onto euphorbias.
This video reaches Indonesia
greetings from Indonesia
Thank you
Do you think you could take a cactus stock, slice the sides of so theres still the base and then add like a bunch of graft all around it?
Is it possible to graft a madagascar palm branch? My branch broke off and lost its symmetry so I want to graft one to give it's shape back. Thanks Eric!
Hi...nice video...would you share what kind of soil you use for myrtillos? Greetings from Spain
Hey Eric, can euphorbia succulents be grafted to poinsettia (non-succulent euphorbia pulcherrima)?
Sir what did u spray on the newly cut cacti? Plain water?
Hello, what is the spray liquid you used during the vaccination process in your video? And what is the powder you sprinkle on the grafted plant after grafting, and how long do you leave it on?
so pumping up the stock and scion prior to making the cuts is what makes it unnecessary to put the graft in high humidity during the healing process? I suppose too that it matters what one's relative humidity is.
Can grafting be attempted at any time of the year?
What is in that spray bottle? Regular tap water? Sterile/Boiled water?
why no trichocereus root stock?
I would love to watch a eurphorbia grafting video if ever you make it. I'm set to graft some now, but am hesitant.
Is the water in the spray bottle somehow sterilized? Or doesn't matter?
What is the blue liquid you use to fertilize ? And where can I get the sulfur powder ?
just any 20-20-20 available. I would guess hardware stores or big box nurseries have sulfur powder, or order online
nice

I always use stainless steal utility knifes. Super sharps, super thin, and you can always change the blade for a new one. ✌🏼
@@Hectorrbazaldua , Thank you 😊. I’ll look into those then !
What’s the name of the awesome Astrophytum at 8:53 ? That’s a stunning beauty 😍
Perfect , like :D

Any alternatives for sulfur powder???
ua-cam.com/video/8K00VlyNi-Q/v-deo.html
Hi.What are these sprays and powders?
Is there anything you can do with already calloused cactus?
what is the powder the one you brush in the cactus
Can you please let me know where you but sulfur? Thank you sir.
Is it too cold to graft in the winter?
can astrophytum or gymnocalsium 2 or 3 part grafting????

So what is the growing pattern after a slab piece of graft is applied to a stalk? Do pups come out the sides like the horns of a bull?
Pups can only come from areoles so any areole is a possible pup.

can I ask, whats the solution inside your spray bottle?
No
@@macysondheim edi dont
Dude is ballsy grabbing cacti by the plant and not the pot. I’m sure he’s accidentally grabbed the wrong one before 😂
After a 1000 times you don’t feel the small pricks.
Becomes second nature at some point. Like a chef handling hot pans
me trying to cut straight whilst owning 7 bonsai trees and being pan
Hey man! R u ok?
What Can you use as a substitute for sulphur?
Powdered cinnamon works well. It protects and kills fungal infections and promotes healing.
Coal or Stone Powder
3:19 what is “Blue water”?
감사해요(ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡
Why are you covering your stock with more top dressing over the years? TIA
Hello sir, do you sell aloe vera? Do you live in Europe? Thanks in advance

What can I say ?
This video was much more than a lesson in how to graft Cacti, but I was left with a doubt. I wonder if I can pass cinnamon instead of sulfur
Hello bro what kind of powder that will put after slice the RS.
Cinnamon is dark brown lol 😂😂😂
ok, why have we to graft those cacti? All cacti can have their own roots.
