- Here is a KoRn Band Rehearsal from back in 1996! This is extremely rare footage of the band performing some of their best songs off of the Self Titled Album and the Life Is Peachy Album in a small room, which seems dedicated to the band! Again, this is unedited footage! This is one of my favorites! Enjoy KoRn fans!

3. Ass Itch
4. Kill You

15. Fake
If I could travel back in time, I'd break the button on his camera that allows him to do that stupid negative effect.
exactly same thoughts here, fuck that fucking idiot behind the camera :D
I thought it was kinda cool, but it got annoying after a while, especially when it stayed negative for too long
Nopi yeah, but i definitelly had to watch it to end, because.. Simply raw KoRn with David..
SoaDer Yeah ofc I watched the entire thing, wtf
zaktatack Yeah it's really annoying. I guess he thought he was a tech god though at the time with that camera ... 1996 lol
David was a beast on the drums..
He is korn' s groove
Fucking legend.. His groove did all the albums up til he was done... If he was never in that band in the first place it would be totally sideways
Life is peachy is David's best album. Really innovative drumming there. Ferocious groove all the time. Pure fucking gold.
@@danieltaylor3042 thats false.
@John Gnar he didn’t groove at all on SYOTOS so like I said, FALSE
David is the reason im a drummer...remember seeing them play live on MTV back in the late 90s and i was in awe with his style and approach to the drums. #1 inspiration.
Same here when I was about 6 my brother introduced me to Korn, then he showed me Got the Life I instantly wanted to play drums since, I've been playing drums since I was 9
Same here... he was a huge inspiration for me and for a lot of drummers
David was the literal back bone of that band. Without David the band wouldn’t have been what it was. He’s beating the living shit out of those drums and that’s why they were so heavy!
If David's the backbone then Fieldy definitely has to be the legs carrying the band with those slaps
@@wadesams194 And JD was/is the heart/chest/throat/mind and Munky and Head are the arms.
Every member was integral to this original sound. But once they started maturing out of the 90s, David became the least necessary member. Ray fucking slays now
@@Zeta9966 Wrong, very wrong. David's drumming style and songwriting gave Korn's songs that special something that helped the songs achieve a unique identity and take them to another level. Even after they started to "mature" their sound!
Ray kills shit, you're right about that. He is undoubtedly a more prepared musician with a vast knowledge of music theory and different drumming techniques. But thank God music is not just about that.
I can literally name 2 or 3 dozen great Korn songs with epic/legendary drum beats that David wrote. I can't even name a song "by Ray" with that special touch.
@@andrepereira744 the style you’re talking about existed on 2.5 albums. The rest of the albums with Dave were him playing 4 on the floor beats.
1:08 Chi (quick take)
1:42 Good God (quick take)
2:02 Ass Itch
5:34 Kill You
9:31 A.D.I.D.A.S
11:59 Proud (drum quick take)
12:31 Fieldy Gangster Song
13:16 No Place To Hide
15:26 Blind
19:32 Ball Tongue/Lodi Dodi
24:17 Divine
27:20 Chi
31:33 Good God
32:18 Porno Creep
33:42 Fake
Man Davids drumming, is just legendary
Guys there is another camera man in the room who looks like he's not playing with all the buttons and turning the camera on its side. We really need to find that video.
KingOfKings I fucking KNOW someone needs to go CIA and find his ass make this top comment!!
KingOfKings it looks more old skool like this though lol 😂
@@Devik666 real fans dont care we just want the footage
I just wanna hear the jams. You mofos straight wanna check out the whole band lol
Please.
Man this is some great footage ruined by some terrible camera work. It's honestly really sad.
It would be nice to see them all together once again.
He'll never be the same after all his injuries :(
Thumbs up for Forest Gump, the camera guy.
thybigballs Why are you insulting Forest Gump? 😂
This is why David is my inspiration for playing drums
Devid silveria makes Korn complete
He is ...so effn good. Too bad he's also a complete douchee Larue
eric crittenden he’s calmed down recently
David*
He’s a complete dick.
David kills it on kill you
6:52 David kicks into high gear, fucking love watching him play.
daniel dell guess what. ..that was innovative and new in 96....so you would do the same thing
Ho .sorry wrong comment on the wrong comment haha sorry
the best drummer and all times fuck yeaaa
Ball tongue still blows me away all these years later
back when David was interested in playing..
Yo know about his injury.? 🤡🤡🤡🤡
It's never just one thing...
I miss David. :(
when david plays his hands go to the fucking ceiling
Those were the days. Korn has never been the same since Head and David left the band. But I guess all good things come to an end eventually.
David rules. No More.
Love that this is recorded. I wanna kick the recorder in the shin with all the video exposure back and forth. Just when I get back into watching #flash
LMAO
There are No words, just tears. Can't put it into words. How do you put that time of your life into words? I hope my kids will experience a band like KoRn someday. I doubt it but when all fails there is always KoRn. What a special band & what a story.... There is a G-d.
Thank you KoRn!
I’m not sure this will ever happen again.
Korn was and is unapologetically authentic. They’re still relevant 30 years later. Wild.
Holy shit Jonathan’s voice sounds fucking amazing, sounds like the cd
The magic in this room is palpitable.... even through the camera. I bet everyone there had chills. Love seeing legends practice at their spot so casually. First 3 albums, especially the first 2 mean absolutely so fundamentally much to me. I play drums because of David. Fucking sick video. Historic. 🔥
Nothing beats having mates come watch you at band practise like that. sets a great vibe
KoRn!!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
This is underground!!
I bet it would’ve been killer to be friends with these guys at the time- fucking around, drinking, and getting to see them play their best songs right in front of me in their rehearsal pad…
The right mix of the right people!! 🖤
Fieldy playing Primus at 0:21
“HERE THEY COME”
Yup! Then plays a bit of Justin off of Follow The Leader
that negative effect is driving me crazy! lol, thanks so much for all your uploads!
Being there would have been something else listening to them jam in that tiny room.
David was the best!
linapleachimPL yeah, but he lost his enthusiasm in drumming
@@crrybaaby3190 no he didnt. blame the industry. read his interviews
Ball tongue is such a cool song
Those were the days!
Love hearing the live cuts of old songs... They really should do a reunion tour.
BangoBean they've never broken up.
They just released an awesome album.
@@rockboy360 drummer quit and got replaced by someones dad
@@etherneedle Yeah and david joined band that currently has 0 monthly listeners on spotify I think that says enough 🙄
Thanks for the videos, they are really a treasure for every korn fan, the early years, the best years. the best sound....
The groove on porno creep...god damn...
It’s so cool to get to watch a young David play drums for Korn. The sticks heights are so high, hi hats super sloshy and loose. He seems to tune drums high, then hits super hard to draw out low end from them. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Korn need David, is the soul of korn
1996, back when people thought negative effect was actually cool. Otherwise I came. Just sayin'.
I came too ☺
This footage is f%ing epic!
Even sacred!
david is probably one of the most talented drummers on earth, no kidding
uh, hes good, but definitely not one of the best
I disagree. He's underestimated for a reason. He didnt attend drum clinics, so he was well off the radar as a drummer back then and all the way through 2006. Im a drummer myself and have been since i was 8. Ive also been in a competitive drumline for 6 years. Not the shitty ones. Having said that, please believe me when i say that the shit that he's put on the first few albums is highly creative. Lol it took some thought to add the groove that made korns sound. His playing was too unique. He was also in the band that founded most of the heavy bands of today and that founded the sound that elitist djent overachiever bands use nowadays, lol. They founded nu metal dude. He's earned his place as one of the greatest, in the respective spot.
Founded the sound* that alot of bands use today. Not founded the bands. Lol typo
Bed Head
Fabian Holzer underrated definitely, he def had the most talent as well
Imagine being in a position to be able to film something like this and you fucking ruin it. Damn shame.
Thanx for uploading this. And for this UA-cam channel. Made my day finding this
Awesome stuff! Thanks for posting all these rare videos and demos.
Thank you for this footage
I love Ray and all but god damn David was the shit..Damn!!
David was the shit!!!
Thank you man! it's truely inspiring to watch the old days again. so sad the band fell apart.... every single one of them made a perfect match
Munky's guitar!!! looook at it! He made it look all beat up, it's covered in tape, LOVE IT.
Wow!!!!!! 👊👊💜💜💜🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 I'm in Shock!!!!! KickAss beautiful!!!! Thank you for that 👊👊🤘💜💜
The drums on kill you weren't that good on the album, that makes me sad, but happy to know even though David's track could have been better, peachy is still one of their best albums.
Would love to see Footage like this from Hed P.E. or Coal Chamber back in the Daze! Thanks for uploadin`and much luv from Germany!
Bring me back David
thnx, for upload old korn videos!
I agree with you all, but this is awesome! This is what metal is all about here.
Man imagine seeing korn fresh and new playing in a small room like that.
That negative button was the coolest thing in 1996
when he zooms in on the beer, you think oh no negative...spoke to soon
-_-
I love when Fieldy does the "Day Niggaz Took Over" by Dre and Snoop :D 12:37 it's so fucking funny :D
amazing!
That mafia guy on bass is really good
This is Gold
That first album was 🔥
TANKS FOR EXIST KORN--
Pinche ensayo mas CHINGON!!!! por eso koRn era lo que era!
Pure gold
this is on my computer screen at work right now and I'm pretty much frozen by nostalgia lol. No work getting done at all right now.
That has to be the best ball tongue performance I've ever seen
If they had the drummer they have now back then, they would have just sunk in the background of a sea of all the same sounding bands. David definitely elevated them into a spotlight all their own.
this shit makes me soo fucking happy.. growing up these guys were almost looked up to like big brothers to me
Didn't seem like David was not too keen on Porno Creep, still, it's awesome to hear it played live.
Magic
thanks!
I couldn't agree more.
que gran registro
The best part about these rehearsal clips is some of the songs they played here are some they didnt really play live all but maybe once or twice maybe not at all which makes it better.
what songs are you talking about?
because a lot of songs that were rehearsed were played a lot
Great to see , My favorite part is at 15:21 - 21:56 ... Blind is just amazing ! I get chills every time I hear it. Pretty funny when you see Mom & kids driving down the road rocking out ...
Likewise! Haha. They’re from my hometown. KC.
Blind don't hit like that anymore 😢
This is so good. Could someone please filter out the inversion-effects and reup this?
this is awesome KORN 4 LIFE
Yeah! Thanks!! Did they cover it?
que bien KORN ganando el jueguito desde 1996 !!!
Beastepicness!!
GOOD LUCK RAY!
woke up 2day feelin sick flu :(.. watchin this vid made me feel lot better!!!! cheers :)
@OrielFilms I totally agree
El verdadero KoRn, esto vale oro . ..
This looks like "Freakin Loud" Rehearsal in Huntington Beach, CA. My band rehearsed there during this same period roughly.
and that my friends... is how special fx are supposed to be!! haha jk. This video made my day! thanks for the upload!!
I always like Dave on drums too, but to be honest Ray is a really good drummer as well. The only thing I don’t really like are all the fills he adds into existing koRn songs. I get that it’s him giving it his own flavor but it irritates me when I hear extra shit in songs I’ve known for decades
i would gladly sacrafice a goat to be there
this is awesome, like a wee mini gig.
I understand why the camera kept doing the negative effect but....goddamn its not half annoying
David create those drum style for Korn like lots of toms for chorus. OMG so good
Ray Luzier can never match up to David's talent!! Dave has more groove and is more versatile..BEST drummer in my top 3
Is this on a DVD somehwere? Cuz I'm debating whether to download these videos or buy a DVD with this on it. I assume this wasn't officially released. If so, where did you get it from?
This camera man is a god damned criminal! Lol
David killing it!!!
Old Korn the best
