@@gunther4150 Yes op. No, that's now how it works. Since every new civ introduced is better then the last, there is no standard for the civ balance, it is a constant circle of stronger units and cards, and is never focused on being balanced.
This is obvious because the next new thing is always "better" (Mexico musketeer & grenadier for example)
They always need to make bigger and better to keep the "balancing" going, but in reality they are just selling you more to make more $$$.
This is what the asian dynasties started doing - You could see the trend happening there already - and It needed to be stopped by nerfing the civs, not continued (hence why Japan was never balanced).
Why do you play original aoe3 not definitive?
More is not always better. The original is just as good as it always was!
Sorry I am quite a noob here, how do you get the original version? I used to play this game when I was a child, and now I wanted to play it again but all I could find was the definitive version through Xbox and Steam. Definitive is not good? Been playing for a few weeks but I don't know the differences.
