I just got my 7900 xt installed. Went from a 3060 12gb. Crazy gains lol. This video is perfect timing for me. I don't understand why people don't like AMD drivers and adrenaline. This is so much better than the gforce experience
Just went from titan x pascal to liquid cooled rx 6900xt myself so I know what you are talking about, the titan x and 3060 are close and the 7900xt is bit better than 6900xt obv but we just both made similar jumps and I'm in love
You'll start to understand why when your games ignore the settings for no reason, cause bugs and crashes and can even cause corruption in other software. It's cool to be a new fanboy blinded by hype, but dont make such sweeping statements just yet
I found the solution to Sea of Thieves not working with AMD’s latest drivers. The problem was the Microsoft version just doesn’t work with the Adrenaline software but it does when you get it on Steam and it works well with the new drivers. Keep up the great work Fabio
I didn’t think I’d ever use frame gen, but after flipping on afmf2 for my games, an additional 9-11ms latency doesn’t matter, and I can crank everything up and maintain very high refresh rates.
I use it in dcs world for air to ground, but don't expect the corners to be perfect; if you move your mouse diagonally, there's literally no information in the corners to interpolate with fg

Veteran on AMD here, RX480 - RX5700XT - RX6700XT and now on a RX7800XT + i5 12400. I use a 1080p 75hz display for single player and a Ultrawide 21:9 for the simracing both with Freesync and ALWAYS cap my FPS on 60 or 120 with MSI Afterburner,. I will check the Radeon Chill option thk for explain that Fabio. Great explanation and great video, I watched full. I add one thing: if the game don't have driver support/update not always is possible to adjust the settings individualy for that specific game, like for example, STALKER 2 yesterday.

One itneresting thing about AFMF2 is that it may work with emulators, tried it out on Xenia and it seems to do something. Oddly enough it's doesn't just help with the average framerate but also with some of the annoying dips. It also may depends on the game and the type of emulator, playing GoW3 on Xenia master was excellent, Forza Horizon wasn't all that different but that game can run with 60 fps anyway. It may only work with the master version and not canary, at least it only gives stats in Radeon Software for master. There is also no indicator if it's on or not and yo need to add Xenia manually as a game. Will test it with RPCS3 at some point, if it works there too, then it's a game changer for emulation and you don't really need more than an APU.

Radeon Boost feels like that old app back in the mid 2010s called HiAlgo Boost. The Dev thought of only necessarily scaling down the render resolution only if it's really needed because there's no reason like maybe walking on an empty road with no mobs, NPC, etc on lower resolution when it's just fine on the higher resolution. Keep switching resolution is a hassle. That was a brilliant idea until spatial upscaling becomes the more superior option. I think they also made HiAlgo Chill. Wait...
