Vegan Nacho Cheese Recipe just like AT THE THEATRE!

- LAY HO MA!! You're in for a real treat. This smoky, cheesy, delicious vegan dipping cheese is easy to make and will make you feel like you're at the cinema! Join me in this episode and learn how to make an easy vegan nacho cheese recipe. Ready for vegan nachos? Let's begin.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cashews
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 cup water
drizzle of olive oil
1/4 of a carrot
small piece of dried chipotle pepper
splash of lemon juice
chopped tomatoes (optional)
jalapeno (optional)
cilantro (optional)
Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients (minus the tomato, jalapeños, and cilantro) into a blender (high powdered blender), and blend on high until creamy smooth
2. Chop up some fresh tomatoes, thinly slice some jalapeños, and chop some fresh cilantro
3. Add to the cheese and serve

I made this today Wil! Oh my goodness! I had to sub a couple things due to what I had on hand BUT it was still amazing. It's nice it doesn't have potatoes in it just in case you want to dunk some fries in it. Oh the possibilities! Thank you again!

Can you make some recipes for plant-based people, with no oil? My husband had heart issues and the doctors told him, (plant-based no oil- and stay away from processed foods if it does not grow on a tree or in the ground, it's not plant-based.
Great recipe! But not cheap! Cashews and nutritional yeast are expensive
I was missing a carrot so it didn’t turn out that great. I added some smoked paprika and extra cashews instead for more of a Smokey flavor. Turned out okay. I assumed the carrot was for color not so much flavor
I’m surprised that mushrooms were not part of the mixture for that umami taste.
Not vegan-but this looks really good! Going to try it!

Hey! Yup, if you have a high powered blender you don't have to pre-soak the cashews. I use a vitamix in this episode :)

Which Vitamix do you have and do you recommend it?
I have an older model “CIA model” they released it and the culinary institute of America was using them. They have much cooler looking ones now lol. Id recommend considering the size that works best for you - they have a smaller size and a larger one. I would totally go for the large size tho 😊 powerwise I’m pretty sure they have more power than my dinosaur 🦕

I dont either. I soak the cashews over night and put all the ingredients in a Food processer first. It helps it blend easier in the blender.

I didn’t soak them overnight because the vitamix liquifies them 😅
