Beach Fishing in Japan At 4am! (I DID NOT EXPECT THIS!) (4K)

  • I haven't done anywhere near as much sea fishing in Japan as I would have liked. For a few reasons really, mainly weather, but after a calm patch, I managed to get out on to the beach and do some beach fishing along with abit of microfishing too! Japan loves sea fishing and they catch a variety of species from shore, mainly bait fishing or lure fishing!
    Arriving early at the beach, I was shocked at what I discovered. I knew fishing was popular here in Japan but I didn't expect this on my first proper solo sea fishing outing of the year!
    Hope you enjoy this little fishing adventure from Hokkaido Japan and if you do, please hit that subscribe button, we have plenty more to come from Japan :)

    Loving the series. Have a question if you dont mind. Im currently in Japan for a couple month's(Tokyo area) and looking to pick up a travel rod while im here. Was wondering if you have any suggestions on a good rod. Not trying to fish anything specific, just fishing to fish. Found a Shimano Sienna Combo Mod. S86ML at a store called Sansui in Shibuya I was contemplating picking up. Thank you and again loving the series.

      Hey mate!! Amazing you’re here in Japan have a great time you’ll certainly catch some fish especially Suzuki on the rivers! Recommend a night fishing trip :D without a doubt!! Unfortunately I can’t in terms of Japan based because I use Rigged and Ready gear from the UK (but they do ship too Japan!) recommend their Infinite Max and also the X5 combination, perfect rods for mixed fishing!! 👌sorry I can’t recommend anything directly in Japan!

    Mebaru should be the first one you caught , the second one is Ainame another common fish species from that part of Japan , it is packed with them .
    If I was you I would try to lure them with lures not with live bait…it’s much more fun.
    Some jigheads and softbaits and some small light and UL minnows or vibs

    Well hellooooooooooooooooo my lad and you certainly looked You had got up very early. I know that feeling as that’s about what time I get up for work……….. what a cracking video, and if I went fishing at that time of morning and I seen that many people that would be my worst nightmare 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Just as you get there and you think you’ve got it all to yourself…… you pack of bloody bast……….s 🤬🤣🤬🤣🤬🤣…….. some cracking Fishing as always buddy and great to see you are crazy happy smiley face as always 🤣🤣🤣🤣 been busy at this end, although I did manage a couple of hours fishing at a place called Lockwood reservoir which is near Scaling Dam on the road towards Whitby. Managed a few perch as I have never been there before I was quite chuffed. Anything is better than doing the bloody decorating or gardening. Saying that I had to do the garden before I was allowed to go 😳😟😐😵🤣…. Love watching the videos as always, my friend and you be safe and all the best to you and yours 👍👍🎣🎣🥰

      Also HAPPY BLOODY DAYS FEW FISH ON the bank from a new spot😆 what more could you ask for?….not having to do the garden first!!! That’s what you could ask for, but aye it needs doing and Mrs Loxley can’t be kept unhappy!!! Good to hear from you mate and hope all is well at your end :D

      @johnloxley8705 Рік тому

      @@japanesefishingadventures yes it’s always nice trying a new spot as you never know what you will see along the way. That spot I mentioned, it’s quite a notorious place to see the very elusive adder snake. … never seen one though, but seen some very strange looking caterpillars. That’s one thing about our sport. We come across all sorts of wildlife on stranger things. Absolutely love it. Anyway not loving being at work today as it’s too warm to do anything. Can’t wait for the rivers to open and I’ve got June 16 off so I’m really looking forward to spending the day with the Old Man as we very rarely get a chance to go fishing together. He likes going during the week as he is retired so he can just pick his days. I don’t blame him as he has worked all his life and why not. Wish I was bloody retired! Anyway, looking forward to your next video, my friend and to see what you have in store for your next mission. Take a canny Bonnie lad and all the best 👍🥰🎣
