I like how all these articles are claiming people are upset about the sandwiches you chose when really no one actually cares because it was just a series you did for fun and not to upset anybody.
As others have said the amount of preparation for this vlog is outstanding. I think we all need to start supporting you more. I’m currently deciding how best to do that
I don’t think my kitchen would ever recover from preparing this many diverse sandwiches in 2 days! Your content is so good, I can’t wait to see your channel blow up 👏
To boost the longer videos I have seen other creators make them into shorts with a link to the longer video, would recommend given how much time you put into this, 2 days to make that much food is actually amazing, would probably take me a week
I’m loving how much following you’re getting tbh, now a cookbook and merch, this channel is just British humour perfected with food thrown on top, and I love it, keep it up brother and drink 7 pints to your success Also Imma make the bham sandwich as someone living there, sounds amazing
A) he made the cromer sandwich and attributed it to norwich B) he used absolutely zero colmans mustard, the only thing that norwich has now C) the sandwich he made sounded like it was probably pretty good but he still gave us a 0
i’m from coventry and i’m glad you rated the breakfast sandwich well but i wish there’d been a bit more research as we have a way more representative ‘official’ sandwich low and slow cooked pork, apple sauce, stuffing, and sometimes crackling, in a floury bread roll (known locally as a batch). it’s less known now but was massively popular in the 70s - 90s
You've misunderstood the yorkshire "fishcake" - it's a sliver of fish between two slices of potato, all battered then fried - not a mashed potato fishcake sandwiched between two battered potato slices😂
For cardiffs, there are recipes where you put egg, mustard seeds, leeks, cheddar and Leicester, put it in the microwave and under the grill. That’s where I used to work anyway. You could’ve done a Glamorgan sausage sandwich too! Adam Richman interviewed me over them!😊
Amazing video! I can imagine the stress of trying to construct a shopping list for this project, and the employee looking at you funny when he sees how much white bread you have 😂
‘A light playful roast of each town’ I’m not from Coventry but I feel like as bad as the place might be saying that a certain Austrian painter did us a favour by bombing it is a bit much! 😂
Glasgow should have been the fried mars bar, Edinburgh the haggis, dundee the salmon with whiskey cream cheese, and aberdeen should have been black pudding and egg in a rowie
I mean, I'll probably be buying it anyway, but I don't think there is an official sandwich for anywhere in UK. It's probably more accurate to say 'the somewhat most popular sandwich unique to this area'. But that doesn't roll off the tongue as well. Well done for giving cities and towns more reasons to argue with each other hahaha!
i really wonder when watching these what your methodology is for coming up with butty's. because sometimes i think it's completely random, because i can't see how the sandwiches relate whatsoever to the town/city. and then randomly you'll have one like liverpool where it's like "damn, chilli chips are really popular in liverpool" infact salt and pepper chilli chips are like our cities second iconic dish behind scouse stew. And a few other examples where i knew the connection betweent he city and the sarnie. so i'm really curious what research you did.
Southampton isn't hte arse of the Hamptons, that's Littlehampton (or Lil'Amp'on as the locals call it, or LA because the locals can't say the letter h)
7:41 idk if I'm the only scouser who thinks this but is that really our official sandwich? I mean, if other people like it thats fair but that doesn't sound nice to me
Although it looks lovely, the Pompey sarnie is a mystery to this Pompey boy of almost half a century. Where did you get that from and who’s claiming it a traditional Pompey sarnie???

That's tabloids for you. They have nothing better to do.
What’s there to like about it?
He’s just having a good time, trying to live, and making people laugh. Couldn’t ask for more.

Applause for the amount of work that has gone it to making this!!

As a Belfast local, you're safe to start your car and stay in a hotel here for now
The fact it's not in a fried soda or an actual Belfast Bap has him on thin ice though.
@@LoudMouth_ Yeah, we'll give him one chance out of the goodness of our hearts.
Hmm easaontaím
I've been waiting for a rating like this since I was following the series on shorts, and it's finally here, I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!

I like how you gave Belfast a higher score, probably to avoid getting carbombed. Also, I remember a tuna and sweetcorn one(?)
The amount of prep that went into this!! Amazing
birkenhead actually mentioned in something still blows my mind
I know right.
Yeah
Eww
as a person living in norwich my rage at the norwich sandwich is indescribable
It has little relevance to Norwich as a place but Crab and Samphire sandwich sounds elite to me
A) he made the cromer sandwich and attributed it to norwich
B) he used absolutely zero colmans mustard, the only thing that norwich has now
C) the sandwich he made sounded like it was probably pretty good but he still gave us a 0

I don't have a problem with it being an egg sandwich but you're right it should be in a batch
“Just shake off the lingering spirit of that famous nonse, you’re good to go” 😂

This is some good 4 am TV
I’d imagine Morecambe’s being two slices of wet bread, with undercooked fish in the middle
The cadence in the beginning goes hard, man. Wow.
The amount of work and creativity is really impressive
FINALLY I watched the stream and have been waiting for this vid!!!
Love that u included Dundee, also don’t like fish so mehh but also like your reason for adding👌🏻
The level of prep for this video is impressive
never heard of anyone having or even making a beef, cheese and gherkin sandwich down here but that does sound good
I live in Leicester and our sandwich is pretty fair tbh. The score is too. I'm not complaining.
I wish the Chelmsford one was in there. It looks so good 👌🏽
Beeeeeer-big-um 😅 I love this. Great, fun, and fastidiously-prepared content.
Amazing video! I can imagine the stress of trying to construct a shopping list for this project, and the employee looking at you funny when he sees how much white bread you have 😂
That is really cool, I just wish you had Inverness, Bath, Preston & Swansea. Besides that, this is incredible.
I love that Parmo made the menu!
Glad u liked it -Southampton 4:36
This is like a best of video, love it
I've lived in Bournemouth my whole life, and I've never seen anyone eat that sandwich or even seen it sold
Glad u liked it -Southampton
8:43, it was Scarborough not Peterbrough that Savile liked
The Coventry sounds very good. There are a few good ideas. Better get me the book and try some of them.
The only premier(e) I'll be supporting!
I hope one day he makes an Aylesbury sandwich. 🥺
Can you make a part 2 of the book which was other places like Taunton or chard
Please do St Neots if you ever do anymore it’s the biggest town in Cambridge so it has some significance I guess
What happens to Burton? I suggest a chip butty with curry sauce (lots of butter)
Mmmmmm more British rage after this pemier
Good job making all of those sandwiches, but where's Gloucester 😕
I know….. cottage pie sarnie is amazing. I live in Gloucester and eat a cottage pie sarnies all the time.
@raeannewood thank you Thank you
He can't do every place unfortunately. I was hoping he'd do walsall
@@SashedPotato 👍
If we rated them based on the cities/towns it would be completely different 😂😂😂
More long form, loved the official sandwiches series!
Im happy with swindon's score 😊
Can you done one on Rochester and the isle of sheppey and sittingbourne
From near Stoke, never seen anyone put an oatcake in a bun, amazing warm though especially for breakfast
Literally just posted the same thing now, I knew there would be someone else that said the same thing😂
i wonder were is the official sandwich for Darlington if you can update the cook book to have the official sandwich for Darlington !
Peterborough is the winner for me. Horseradish ftw. 10/10
does it have desserts? If not, do you have a recipe book of desserts too? Please
Seeing Telford being mentioned blows my mind, being a Salopian
Well done for covering the savaloy dip, dying art in sunderland now though :(
If you do more sandwiches, could one be Hereford?
Came here from the live Q&A
A Wigan Kebab is simply a pie in a barm - the Pey Wet is just an extra.
There are some bloody wierd combos there ??? good effort with making them.
Still disappointed that you haven't done Chester yet despite visiting here
We need another series with more towns and cities that you haven't covered
Bro Brimigham looked incredible
Thank you Big Nibbles. By the way you speak like a presenter!
Dundee sandwich is butter a bridie and ketchup
Your cooking skills plus your very funny political commentaries make a very unique combination, a joy to watch and listen to,thanks.
Shame there's no Barnsley but i'm sure it's a greggs beans and cheese pasty between two slices of tripe or something.
I believe his Barnsley video was a pasta bake in a sandwich
‘A light playful roast of each town’

Do Burton Upon Trent - Birthplace of Marmite and Branston Pickle...
I'll start the drum roll now I guess
I really just sat here for 20 minutes to find my sandwich was void... great
Let's go just one minute more
Portsmouth: I’m ashamed it doesn’t smell of vodka and teen pregnancy 😂😂😂
I don't think anyone in Warrington has ever caramelised an onion.
I skip to my closest town and I immediately hear “Jimmy Saville’s favourite town” 😅

Glasgow should have been the fried mars bar, Edinburgh the haggis, dundee the salmon with whiskey cream cheese, and aberdeen should have been black pudding and egg in a rowie

Give Leicester some pork at least for the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie!
