Dude, by far the best bird hunting videos online. I really appreciate how calm you were with the foot trap incident. You handled it like a pro. Just one of the risks of the hobby. Your shooting is also a notch above the rest. Keep up the good work. I now most people have commented on your puppies improving as they go, but what I have noticed more is your dog handling skills improving over the course of your videos. You are doing an amazing job of keeping it positive for your dogs.
Riggs is phenomenal!! What a tier 1 bloodline you have developed!! So fun to watch your videos with him!! Gotta be outstanding to hunt with them for real!! Keep'em coming Eric!!!
Your two pups are outstanding, what a joy to watch, to see Riggs on two occasions track those wounded birds was something I would only expect to see from an experienced dog. To think they are yet to receive formal training. Wow!
What an absolute pleasure to watch. Thanks to you, two years ago I took responsibility for a GWP. My she has been my joy. To see you working your puppies makes me remember a year ago when mine was that age. I have not shot over her, but just getting her in the field and watching her work is pleasure. Thanks for sharing Eric.
Eric, I don't know where to start. Thumbs up the best video out there. These dogs from Ghost point have truly natural ability. The pup we got from Twigg and Baker has shown that at 6 months old. You are doing something right brother. Keep the boot leather on the ground. Can't wait for the next one
Oh, to be young again.🥹 You breed and raise such incredible wire haired pointers! I'm just blown away by their natural God-given talent. You never need to apologize about the puppy voice! I'd be doing the exact same thing.😂
Best bird dog vids on the Internet! BTW, my dog has gotten into (illegal) traps and it was a cluster. Someone then told me to throw my jacket over the dog's head to prevent getting fear-bittten. Makes sense to me.
That is some great dog work for young pups. It's amazing to see them develop with every bird encounter. you've got 2 strong dogs right there. So much natural ability passed through Moxie. Really good footage as always. Thanks for sharing.
Wowwww Its hard to believe those were just 10 months young pups Performed so well my heart was pounding to go out of chest when i saw young boy leg in trap but thanks no harm done. Great episode eric enjoyed alot the beautiful fileds awesome shooting and extra ordinary sweet work of young pups.
Great work Eric, for 10 month old pups Savvy and Riggs really did well! We enjoyed every minute of the video. You don't miss many shots - just the odd occasion! Take care and we look forward to seeing the pups as they grow. Malc and Ann xx
Great content !!! Great dog work !!! Great breeding !!! Great ambassador for your breed !!! Thank you for sharing. Haters hate because they can’t do or put them time in. They will always have hurt feeling when they see something this special. Thank you for all aspects of your efforts.
Great videos and amazing dog work. Glad your pup didn't get injured from that trap. My dogs have gotten caught in leg holds and snares before. That's a risk we all take when hunting public land, trappers have just as much right as the rest of us do to be there.....plus they're helping the bird population.
There two off the best ten mount old pups with a very natural instinct to hunt I be very happy with my dogs at 4 years to do that am looking forward to seeing a lot more off them tubs has some work to keep in front off them Thanks for sharing agin
Chuckar hunting is the toughest bird hunting there is, except maybe rough grouse when you're off the logging roads and inbthe tag Alders. Your dogs are showing exceptional promise. Great camera coverage too.
Your videos are so awesome, the lands, the flushes, the fantastic work of your dogs and finally your incredibles shoot , what type of shells/gauge you use? Greetings from Sardinia
Those dogs deserve the praise!! "Puppy" voice or not 😆 but I get it, young and just learning(even tho you wouldn't know that unless you say it!) Haha great stuff, GREAT dogs!
Hey Eric, another epic hunt sir. Love everything about it, the scenery, the shooting and specially the way your young dogs performed. I feel sorry about Riggs hitting the trap, but i’m really glad he/she’s ok though.
Eric I would love a video discussing what you do to prepare the pups for their first hunt. You said they didn’t do much training but you must introduce them to birds and gun fire right? What do you do after this, when their formal training begins?
Great content. It looks to me that you could shoot a double sometimes but you hold off, I guess for the dogs and to keep from limiting out too quickly. Thanks Eric!.
Ok...the point at 23:35 time frame, I actually had to pause the video that view was amazing!!! Hate to give it away to your friends & family, but that may be next years Christmas Card😁
Fantastic video Eric love the puppy work. I hope you carry a pair of cable cutters in your vest that’s made just for cutting a snares cable for coyotes. Read a article in a hunting magazine last fall and trappers use snares a lot out west and they don’t take long to kill a dog. Being able to cut that cable is the fastest way to save your dog. The cable is thick so you have to have a good pair of cutters. The more they fight it the tighter it gets. It’s my greatest fear when I’m hunting my dog. Just trying to watch out for your dogs sorry for the ramble. Love your videos very entertaining.
Yes, snares are scary. We had a dog in one once and we barely got him out. I just bought a pair of end cutters for this. They are heavy duty and fast. Seconds matter.
Eric, how do you even scout an area like this or know where to start to find birds? I'm simply used to pheasant and grouse hunting in Minnesota (home state) and the Dakotas. Amazing video! Gorgeous landscape.
hi, one of the most beautiful videos I have seen thank you very much for sharing. there is one thing that makes me sad is that you don't pick up your shell casings, let's not leave plastic in such a beautiful landscape please.
Please don't be sorry about the puppy voice, it just goes to show you adapt your methods to the dogs age/experience, I think it's great and it's a good lesson for new handlers!
Great Eric. You and your brother are onto something with your line of dogs. And I don't mind you yelling like a girl. I do it. Drives my hunting partner crazy. I hate and fear taps. Especially when trappers do not mark (flag) them. Did you see a marker of any kind ? Lucky it was not a kill trap.
Kırk yıllık avcıyım dostum,gördüğüm,köpek çok güzel kokuyu uzaktan alıyor lakin sen köpeğe hep uzak kalıyorsun fermada,bu yüzden keklik uzak kalkıyor ve pozisyon da zorlanıyorsun.abi tavsiyesi sana köpeğe elinden geldiğince yakın dur.rastgele.👍🇹🇷
So sad hunting has become more about the views on youtube than the views and experiences in the field. Shooting birds on the ground with dogs around is a great way to get your dogs killed. Hunt Quietly!
I admire your work and dedication...I would get it if u did that in Europe, where you can almost see no birds for days, but in landscapes full of it, no... Regardless, keep up with a good job :) .

I think the "puppy voice" is great! The pups feed off of your enthusiasm.
Never apologize for the puppy voice! Great hunt!

Great shot on that first quail after you got out the 828! Those suckers are tough shots with all the trees around! 💪💪

Awesome, love the videos. I have a 15 month old Vizsla in his first season of Pheasant hunting. It's been a blast watching him learn!
Great content. Is awsome to see the young blood working so well. Keep the good work.

Man so awesome to see young dogs with such natural talent. Both have a lot of confidence but Riggs really has it brother awesome breeding.
Thank you! 👊
Your videos are so awesome, the lands, the flushes, the fantastic work of your dogs and finally your incredibles shoot , what type of shells/gauge you use? Greetings from Sardinia
Thank you! On this hunt I was using a 12 ga with 5 shot.
Those dogs deserve the praise!! "Puppy" voice or not 😆 but I get it, young and just learning(even tho you wouldn't know that unless you say it!) Haha great stuff, GREAT dogs!

Your videos deserve so many more views than this. I hope your stuff starts getting more recognition.

These days all the information is out there. You just have to go get it. It always seems daunting at first. 👍

Great video! Rigs is amazing! Future stud?
Yes, if his health testing goes well 👍
lol don't be "sorry for the puppy voice" I can pretty much guarantee that all of us talk to our dogs that way hahahahah
Yep, it’s hard not too! 😁
How do you get your dogs to hold point so long?
Good genetics!
The dogs not mine! 😁
Eric would love to pick your brain about hunting out west, never been but would love to go with my son, we both have young dogs.
Loved everything about this video but the trap. To each his own, but I personally will have nothing to do with them. Those pups are rock stars!
Thanks!

You should learn something before you post b.s.
I didn’t see anything. I’m just glad it wasn’t a snare.
God’s country.
That’s a steep ass hill lol.

Malditas trampas. Aquí en España las prohibieron hace muchos años. Surte que no le rompió la pata al perro.
Thankfully he was ok from that trap I’d of been saying much worse things than you did 🤬🤣
I edited out a few words! 😁

Eric?? Shooting while the birds are on the ground? For real?c'mon dude, I tought you are better than that...
Nope! 😁 My main focus is rewarding dogs for good work…especially puppies. I wouldn’t do it all the time but sometimes is ok.
