This is considered their debut album, but they put out a lot of music before Mercurial World. Their previous uh... album/EP/collection of songs A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling is also great. Potentially my favorite song by the, Only If You Want It, was released on its own before that.
I really hope you will listen to their new album Imaginal Disk ! It's like (already) the best album of the decade and one of my favourite albums of all time ! I'm not even kidding, the concept, the lyricism, the vocals, and the creativity is even better on Imaginal Disk ! The production was already fantastic on Mercurial World, but the creativity of the compositions of Imaginal Disk really boosted the quality of the production! I am already glad that you reacted to their debut LP, and I really love when you describe the emotional, colourful landscapes that you feel and see when you dive into the details of the sounds you hear, truly fabulous! And I don't want to pressure you to listen to Imaginal Disk but I feel like it is so rare that something has that amount of quality to it, and I feel like people who enjoy music should give this album a try!

If it’s something you think you’ll revisit on your own time, I highly recommend checking out the deluxe version of this album! it’s really unique how it adds a couple new songs + completely remixes/reimagines others sprinkled throughout the tracklist. plus the song “all you do” is so great :)
