I am a parapro, but last year I was given the honor to be given my own classroom and made Computer Lab teacher for 1st and 2nd grade. We are on holiday in Austin from New Orleans and brought our 4 month-old puppy. Such a cool town and very dog-friendly. We've been at Zilker every day this week. Have fun settling in to your new home. Congrats!

Is it just me, or is humidity kinda new to TX? As a kid I remember the dry heat. 🤷🏽♀️
I have been in San Antonio since 1995 and boy I only remember the humidity! I think it has actually gotten worse.

You'll have hot, but not as much humidity. Get tennis rackets for the bugs. They're big.
When I moved to Dallas in 1980 from West Virginia, it was SOOOOO FLAT!! By the time I moved back to WV in 1999 I could actually see the local terrain.
Good luck getting settled and getting used to the new city.
Check out something called MAPSCO.
It is about $50 but it's worth it. It has an overall map with a grid, and each grid square has a detail page. Businesses (and even individuals!) might say I'm at MAPSCO 28G which means they're on page 28 of the book grid square G. Very helpful in a new city.

I would love to see a pantry video or organizing video for any area of the home! Here are some other possible video ideas: rating your favorite restaurants as you try them for the first time, shopping for decor, landscaping in your backyard, new morning and night routines in the new house, differences and similarities between Maryland and Texas, favorite new hangouts (coffee shops, parks, recreation areas), monthly challenge for just yourself or you and Billy.

oh the beginning of long road trips for you. you can drive 12 hours and still be in the same state it is fantastic. i once did 16 hour only stopping to potty and eat
