I do want all of these....I know the colors are not revolutionary but I visit Mexico City almost twice a year. It’s one of my favorite places in Mexico, the food is to die for!! And well part of my family lives there. ¡Viva Mexico🇲🇽!

Even though OPI has been making polishes for a long time, I still love them because their creams are so unique. Sure they do have repeats but sometimes they come out with a shade that’s a little different. Idk I still buy OPI collections & I’ll definitely be picking some up from this collection. I might actually get the whole collection cuz there’s something about. Plus with the colors I dislike, I give away to friends & family lol.

Great review Phoebe! I was so excited about this collection when I first heard about it as I was born in México city but now that I see it, I am not that excited anymore. I just can't believe opi did not include a bright, vibrant green, like the green in the flag 🇲🇽 or even an avocado green. Hue is the artist? should have been called Horchata 😜 I think i'll end up picking up about 6 or 7 shades.
I love them and will most likely get all of them except for the gold metallic (looks like a leftover from a Christmas collection). So glad they made “mural” in a crelly base and not have it be a clumpy disaster like their last couple of creative attempts at flakey formulas. Tfs Phoebe, I was looking forward to this one!!
I love OPI cream shades so I will pick up a few. Your swatches really helped me decide if something that I already have might be bested by their current formula or if I just love the color enough that I don’t mind the similarities. I think I’ll be getting Don’t Tell a Sol, Hue is the Artist, Mexico City MoveMint and Verde Nice to Meet You. Thank you so much for covering this collection. I love indie polishes but I still look to the big corporate brands for the creams a lot of the time and I so enjoy that you review both.

I agree about your reason OPI may be repeating colors. I also think they may be appealing to those new to buying their products. I didn't know about OPI until a few years ago and if not for YT I wouldn't know about other high end store brands and especially Indies. I used to only buy Wet n Wild and Sinful Colors. I probably won't buy any of these, however they are lovely.

I am absolutely team boorrrriiinnnnggggg for this one, and I really wouldn't expect anything else for OPI since stepping outside the box isn't their thing.....but I'm a sucker for a blue creme, so I'm sure I'll pick up Mi Casa es Blue Casa if I see it in the wild. I won't go to the trouble of ordering it online, though.

The only one I'm probably going to pick up is the yellow because it's hard to find a good two coat yellow.
I really enjoy this collection. I bought 5 of the colors, the pink, blue, mint, green and flakie. I like opi polishes, they always perform well for me and look great.
I really appreciate your tips on how many coats and the comparisons as I do own all OPI and so many. I am a purple girl and will go for this one but like a few others. Thanks for turning me onto Polish Pick..I have been buying from them since early summer. Great value and since I actually live close to them it comes super fast!
I think she means polish pick, not polish pickup. Polish pick is a website with very cheap opi, China glaze, etc. They're awesome. I love polish pickup too though!
Very pretty color story as a whole and well represents the city! So bravo OPI ! Mural mural is very cute tho. Might need to check that one out at least.
I think Mi Casa is Blue Casa is a reference to Casa Azul (blue house) which was the home of Frida Kahlo The shade is a pretty close match to the color of the house too.

Thank you so so so much for the comparisons! It is so helpful! Especially against other OPI. Sometimes I like a color I purchased but want it to be darker/lighter/redder/bluer/etc. Comparisons help me find that “perfect” shade! ❤️

I kind of agree with you on why they have so many similar shades but that reasoning doesn’t really hold up when they have multiple shades that are so similar to shades in their most recent collection. I feel like there are enough colors out there that they could have avoided so many recent repeats.
Curious how the blue compares to Sally Hansen Pacific Blue.

Yep, agreeing with everyone else. So boring. I need more fun polishes, with special powers, and cool effects, and multichrome or holo, or temp changing... Something cool! I like your swatches though. I just fast forwarded to each color.
Wish they had done a few with the flakie formula in different colours. ☹️ opi are quite expensive in the uk and really they are nothing special. Would rather spend my money on a stunning indie polish that costs the same (or less!)

Yet another boring and disappointing collection from OPI. If I want a good cream polish my choice will be Zoya. Zoya at least shakes it up a bit once in awhile. I haven’t purchased OPI in several years because of their retread colors. The last decent collection that I can remember was the Hello Kitty Collection several years ago. As always thanks for the swatches, comps and review.

I liked your swatches but this collection didn't impress me at all! The same colours and finishes over and over. OPI is not taking any risk to dare something different and bold.

All those blues and oranges in the comparison swatches are almost all alike lol
I wonder if opi isn't really catering to collectors but to salons and people looking for pretty colors that go on and stay on well. I have 69 polishes so I don't often find new colors. I will get the yellow and mural mural tho.

Love your videos and the comparisons, so helpful. But OPI is getting boring to me. I will probably get mural mural on the wall, but I already have so many similar ones, as most of us have who collect polishes, and I have a lot LOL But very pretty collection for someone starting out.

OPI had a red. Years ago, like 07, that had a shimmer but shifted pinkish. I got my nails done at a shop and the bottle had no name do you happen to know of a cor like tha???? Thank you in advance!

I'm on a make-up no buy for 3 months. i told my son today at lunch I might make it until Memorial Day instead. Just don't NEED anything and most new releases I have the color already.

What is a N D brand or indy?
It is short for independent, a brand that is independent of a corporation. Produced by one or just a few people rather than a large company/corporation. These brands are often hand mixed/hand bottled, which allows for a larger variety of components to be used during production such as flakies, glitters, etc. This yields more of an artisan nail polish rather than mass-produced. This coming weekend there will be a large number of indie brands offering limited edition products at polishpickup.com if you'd like to get a look at a large variety of indie brands and see what it's all about :)

Don't go down that road if you want to keep your money. Otherwise you will regret spending it. I spent over $5000 on indie brands 6-7 years ago so awful. Wish I had that money now.
Also it took me another 3 years to pay it off. So not worth it. Have a small basket for nail polish and when it gets full use those and that's it. Replace goopy ones once a year but stay away from a collection.
