Hey Paul. I entered the single world after 12 years of marriage. I loved being married, have 2 kids. Tried the dating scene for a few years. Such a big mistake. Not so many fish in the sea, plenty of sharks though. I even remarried, she showed her true colors as soon as the ring hit her finger. Literally.. everything changed on our wedding day. 😒 Good luck to you if you choose that route. Personally, I've given up. And the past 4 years I've been regaining my sanity, slowly but surely.

We're trying to raise them to be gentlemen but also want them to be able to protect themselves from the damaging effects of modern day "feminism." Please help them to realise that the special person in their life, is telling them everything that they need to know about them......
So if need be, sit them down and in a loving way explain to them your concerns,
And reassure them that, there is no need to fear being single.
For being single is far better than being in a relationship with a person that isn't suited to them.
People don't realize that a real relationship takes work from both parties. Your story is similar to mine. Except I am the dude. Over the years we both learned to step back and make changes, by ourselves not nagged changes, to make our relationship better. It is 10 times better than it was when it began. The constant is we accept each other as is, any change was voluntary and decided upon by the person making the change because we felt it would better the relationship. Almost forgot what it is like to face passive aggressive hints daily over things lol.

Because often I find people demand respect when they haven't given me reason to respect them.
It's usually how I explain how I almost automatically lose respect for people who demand it rather than earning it.
Edit: Should clarify, I pretty much universally respect people. But solely for that reason, not some superficial reason people or society automatically expect.

Yeah I go into each relationship 100% and I give the dyck and try to make things work. I've got about a 30 body count but it's all people I've been in a relationship with. They just at some point decided either I wasn't enough or that the relationship wasn't what they wanted. It's hard each time to get back into a relationship because I've had so many women leave me and I'm always thinking how long will she stay. For Body Count (for both Men and Women) it's not always about the number but the rate/speed that Number is growing. This is because too much Sex at a fast rate can make us desensitized to the "Love Drug"(Chemical) that is released during acts like Sex, and it can also make us require to do more acts to find more Dopamine.
Well, yes, to a degree. The issue with the body count argument is that it's more to do with not being committed to anyone in particular, which suggests a vastly decreased viability for companionship.
What you're referring to is called desensitization, and the specific chemical you're referring to is called oxytocin. Dopamine is released during sex, but this "love drug" is the oxytocin, which is released when cuddling/being intimate. In point of fact, you could even say that "having sex" vs "making love" is a real distinction for more than just the fact that they have different social connotations, but because the manner through which the two individuals are engaging is intrinsically linked (or the reverse, really) to the chemicals that will be/are being released. In terms of arguing for or against body count based on desensitization, it's actually a copout to declare, "I was lacking dopamine, and my brain is wired to seek out more dopamine when it is lacking." Because while it is true in some sense, a lack of dopamine results in a large array of problems including but not limited to: an inability to focus, low sex drive, low/no motivation, on and on. So in actuality, someone lacking dopamine (which is being explored as the deterministic factor for the mechanism of action displayed in clinical and other forms of depression) would actually likely not seek out sex nearly as much as someone who has an abundance of dopamine. We can see this demonstrated by the propensity for sexual activity in people who use (or abuse) amphetamines. Amphetamines give rise to a cocktail of neurochemicals, not least of which is dopamine.
Anyway, just wanted to tack on to what you were saying and clarify a bit.

Im a guy, I went through a lot of women when I was younger. I woke up one day and thought is was getting old. I actually didn't want to have a different person every week. I quit, worked on myself for a while. I was introduced to an interesting woman. We had a love of similar interests and we eventually go married. Been together ever sense.
You know what would be nice? Just general social etiquette classes throughout school career, start with personal boundaries and the desires of the individual, respecting said boundaries. And moving into what you want as you grow up. Feel like we'd have a lot more mellow people that don't have their head in their asses.
I got so lucky to be with my current girlfriend. She's the sweetest person that cares for how much I care about things, she's starting to care about herself and also helping me care about myself too. My value has always been tied to not having anything to offer but she's shown me that a lot of things about myself are "good" to her. The validation of having another person feel you are special in some way is one of the best feelings in the world. I strive to be that person and better for her and myself, and also return those feelings.

Modern women think too much of themselves. There is no modesty and no honesty. The level of exaggerated self-worth is staggering. Why would any man want such an extremely pretentious, arrogant, and argumentative woman.
I could see for myself that my future husband had many women who would walk up and 'sit at his table.' Each woman would try to convince him that she was the one he wanted/needed. He never allowed them into his life in any way. These were beautiful Asian and Caucasian women as well as many beautiful Latinas. To make a long story short, we married and now have three beautiful children. Of course, I asked, "Why me and not one of the other women." He went on to explain that each of the other women acted like he should feel somehow sanctified that they would consider spreading their legs for him. Many of these women were rather loose when young and were now looking for a good and decent man. My husband is a white man, and he is short and bald. My husband is a working-class man. It's weird because we don't share the same interests at all but we just like hanging out around each other. When she's cooking I always pull up a chair and keep her company, when I'm gaming she's always in a chair nearby doing some work, on the phone or just watching.
The things we do tigether are just standard couple things like hanging out with friends, going for movies etc
