Downtown Pasadena California is the central business district of Pasadena, California. It is centered on Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard and is divided into three distinct neighborhoods: Old Pasadena, the Civic Center, and Monk Hill.
Looks very like pre-pandemic times. So many people out and enjoying the night. Pasadena looking good. 😎👍

I live here is the Playhouse district. Escaped the dreaded LA about ten years ago. It's a real contrast for only being ten miles from LA. Pasadena is a very nice city but not much of a vibrant nightlife or music scene. But then again we don't have tent cities here. YET!

My family
When I was a teen this whole area Old Town had not been gentrified yet. Area was just inhabited with "wino's" and vey little commerce. Me and my buddies would drive up there to a liquor store on Fair Oaks to get the homeless to buy our booze. Wow things sure changed.
