Never heard of this attachment concepts, very interesting an educational. Also very similar experiences to the ones you shared, even being the mistress haha and thinking oh damn, am I just the next in line? Haha! I remember thinking TFL was right in his saying “she is not yours its just your turn” or something like that

    Some extra information @KevinRayWilder:
2:20 - NPD cant be directly connected to avoidant attachment styles. To understand their attachment styles, you need to differentiate between Grandiose and Covert narcissism. Grandiose narcissists are definitely prone to avoidant attachment styles, while covert narcissists are heavily prone to anxious attachment styles.
It is very important for men to develop a deep understanding of NPD since women generally show more narcissistic behaviour in inter- and intrapersonal relationships than men do. (I plan to make a in depth video to do this)
How am I qualified to make these statements?: I have researched NPD for thousands of hours and I am in contact with diagnosed and self proclaimed narcissists.
4:40 - Very interesting observation. Thats actually a narcissistic trait that most humans have: You want what you cant have, but you don't want what you can.
12:00 - Attachment styles are not only fluid, you can have multiple at the same time. It's actually really common that people build a sort of chain. They don't want the anxious person that is really interested and act avoiding, but at the same time they are anxious and needy towards a different person, which in return is avoidant. I don't have any studies on this but I think everyone has seen these chains or experienced them.
