In this part of the M156 refresh series, I remove the front cover in order to remove other timing components, such as the guide rails, sprockets, and the chain itself. I came across some hurdles along the way and had to get a little creative... Ultimately I do remove the heads much later in the process in order to carry out some valve repairs as I mention in this video, so stay tuned for that! ...
