I really appreciate how you mentioned that you resurrected some of the bells and brought them back to life. They look and sound like it never happened! Great job, Kalani ‼️💯🔔😊👍🏼
This was really interesting to see what the different types look like coz I have a workstation keyboard with so many different cowbell name samples and how they’ve been hit rather than just the two low and high samples 👍🏾
I'd love to see advice on how to mount bells for use in drum kit playing. Specifically how to mount at least a few and how to keep them from coming loose as one plays. There are of course a many percussion rack products out there, but I haven't found a great solution for use in kit playing. Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Usually it doesn’t matter as they are percussion and won’t sound off key but if you are that desperate you’d probably have to get them custom made which would probably be expensive or if you’re recording you could sample one and pitch it up or down to be triggered on electric drums or a keyboard

Thanks - I just put a link to the repair video.
percussion picture-in-picture! cool video angles 🙌
Meinl and Pearl make some nice cowbells too. I have some smaller triple sets that have a nice tone to them....
Great explanation

Ps can you show how to dampen a cowbell ?
Thanks Dave!
How do I choose a bell that works with the key the music is being played in?

If Pete Englehart makes it, you want it 🙂
I’d figure you for a JRC-guy
I have so many brands. Someday I'll try to dig out more.
