I really enjoy your carvings and your technique you use to cause your creations to have expression especially around the eyes, but everywhere else as well. Thanks for sharing your talent!!!
Just bought my first Dremel drill this week and started carving today. I have a looooong way to go but it's so engrossing and fun to do. I'd like to do some Christmas ornaments and a walking stick for a buddy that had his stolen from his front porch. He used it for morel hunting. Anyway I think this is fantastic!
That’s awesome to hear. Don’t forget wear dust mask all time and safety glass. You don’t want that high speed bits in your eye. Good luck happy carving👍
He would be so happy and proud to have you as a friend for sure. I think the wizard / tree man, would keep with the magical fun and spirit that goes with mushroom hunting. You should post som pics of your first time with a dremel. It looks so fun and relaxing
I'm new to Dremels, but this thing has been great. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfPgcZ5_Cl0HDUKkMJAKde11YKQZVgMoR The variable speed is awesome and the cordless aspect makes it so easy to work with. I am constantly finding uses for it that make tasks easier. Recently I put in a new deadbolt on one of our doors. I knew I had to enlarge the hold where the deadbolt goes into the door frame. At first I thought I would have to get a big router and figure out how to use it for that, but then I rermembered we have the dremel. I was able to enlarge the hole almost as easy as if I was drawing with a pen. It's also great for grinding our dog's nails done and so many other household tasks.
@@carvingandsuch do the bits work with other brands that are not Dremel? I have one that has been lying in my basement for a while because none of its attachments work well.
Your work is inspiring BUT, you make it look so easy!! I want one of these in my backyard on a dead tree that's just begging for it! Thank you for this demo.
Wow Jordy,, you are blowing up !!! Glad to see that,, for those wondering he was using all Kutzall coarse burs here I believe. Highly suggest them. My fav. The extreme & coarse cone, the long Extreme & coarse & the sphere Extreme
I am a goldsmith is use micromotors and flexshafts daily for years today I had a rotory blade on my foredom and it caught on the block and walked its way around and took chunk out of the end of my left index finger almost took the tip off. Amazing work my guy but seeing what we do after nearly choppin the end of my finger off sigh.... we walk a razors edge I didn't realize til today.
I think it’s pretty safe, what I recommend staying away of the extreme bits. If those bits jumps the fingers get hurt. The corse bits jumped several times but did no damage.
