The Magic Railroad was a HUGE part of my childhood. Diesel 10 and Lady were the most common thing for me to see in the toys back then. I had no idea that people didn't like it.
I vividly remember seeing the Magic Railroad movie trailer in pre-k (all the teachers knew I loved Thomas) and it was that scene where Thomas was talking to the audience, and then Diesel 10 comes out of nowhere and says “things are gonna change, Puffball” and I BAWLED my eyes out. The teachers were confused as heck when I told them that the “alligator train” was scary
One thing I’ve been dying to know about Diesel 10’s model is how much movement the claw was capable of. It surprises me how much it can move in magic railroad and Calling all engines, it just seems like at that size movement would be more limited. Honestly that’s what made him so cool to me as a kid. At that age I imagined having a scale model of D10 with a fully functional claw.

When I was 10, i was looking through those types of vidos made by fans where villains from various media would sing Disney villain songs, and I found a version of "The greatest criminal brain" with Diesel 10; and started reserching Thomas after seeing it; and I became a fan immidetly, and still am to this day.
If that sludge scene was actually in the movie, like in the style of that drawing seaswine did, I can imagine how traumatizing it would've been to see that as a child. Also someone needs to reenact that scene, asap.
I'd like one of these about Lady, her model has been missing for a while, a lot of people think her model is in Japan with the others, but that is only a replica of the original model. No one knows where her functional gauge 1 model ended up, some say it's with Brit allcroft, since she was the voice of lady, but no evidence of that has been shown. Others say it was sent to Be modeled in 3D for the CGI series, and has been forgotten in a back room. Others say it was rescued from the animation studio before it could be modeled, and it being hidden away

I’ve always loved Diesel 10. I’m so glad he’s canon (and the movie will always be head canon for me 👍 I don’t wanna hear anything about magic when you have living trains that talk to each other and humans). But anyway, I love his character. He’s the right amount of intimidating. He fits within the world and I enjoy every moment he’s on screen in the movie.

The last time we ever Saw Diesel 10s model face was a 2009 Thomas the train movie (The Great Discovery) and we didn't see him in model since the great discovery, he went CGI from misty island rescue to King of the railway and we haven't seen him again since King of the railway and that's so freaking sad

this always been stuck in my mind for ages: the trains, while they're alive, still has human crew in it right? to make them move. so, my question is: whenever these locomotives were up to something that were bad, were these crews were in on it? or they will try to override the locomotives? because i think they could. and also, in the Misty Island movie, how those mainland locomotives' crew lives? were they're basically living in huts made of stick and leaves? because as far as i know, there isn't any what i would say a roof for the crews, let alone a yard for the train. also, what are the crew's eating? i remember one of the mainland locomotives said that they could wait for a boat, but considering Misty Island's reputation as a ghost island, or a myth, i highly doubt it, and, why were the crew also sent there? i get it if they were bad engines and thus send there as a form of punishment, but the crew too? there is some shady things happening in the mainland. anyway, that's some of the questions i had in my mind about Thomas The Tank Engine. please answer it
Diesel 10 is my number one model I would like to own. If I found him and someone was willing to sell him I would pay almost any price for him. As a kid I thought the character looked scary and a diesel who if possible could kill any of the characters. When Tommy made him Track Master toy it became my favorite toy train and actually had him fight my other trains I had by having them run into each other until one was derailed. Diesel 10 never lost a fight.
Honestly, the face Diesel 10 makes when he is threatened with sugar in his fuel tank is outright creepy. Also I don’t think that putting sugar in a Diesel engines fuel tank would permanently ruin the engine, but I can only imagine it would seriously screw up the fuel tank though.
would like to see atleast one non-rail vehicle or human model history particularly Bertie the Bus or Sir Topham Hatt, being the most prominent of each, and the human models being different in nature to the vehicles I think it would be fun.

I get that the movie wasn't good, but I think everything with the train characters were really cool. Lady and Diesel 10 were some of my favorites after that. Heck, I kinda like he had a bit of redemption in calling all engines. I get that my nostalgia goggles might be really thick, but I can't bring myself to hate that movie even if it was flawed. If only they did more with him, and made him more antagonistic.

I believe that someone probably took the diesel 10 model home with them, similar to how the fact we don’t know where the model of top hat is for tugs. Because who wouldn’t want a tugboat with a top hat and moving head, or a diesel with a moving claw.
