I think it's a funny idea in concept. Like when Toby arrived and they all realise they fill up Tidmouth Sheds now and Thomas says "Hey since we're all a team and steam engines, we should call ourselves the Steam Team!" And the other engines, except Edward and Percy, laugh and say it will never catch on. I personally thought that the idea of a Steam Team was just to highlight the importance of these engines; that they were here since the beginning, and act as (somewhat) wise sages, and keeping eye on the railway they worked so hard to make prosper. I should also point out that *no one* in the team prior to BWBA ever referred to themselves as "The Steam Team". It was all a marketing trick, and that was fine, because it was a way to catch kid's attention. Anything that is heavily used for marketing, but doesn't affect the show, is fine in my eyes. Now BWBA just makes the idea cringy (amongst other things). Instead of being nonchalant, now everyone refers to the name as if they are a super hero team. Just look at the special "Steam Team to the Rescue". Bloody embarrassing.
@Frana Gaming haha lol but to be fair the engines who stayed at Tidmouth prior to BWBA was justified as they had jobs/branch lines near the place. Also I think they would be more comfortable being around each other for so many years to the point where they consider each other family and just like each others company(even if they get on each other's nerves). Kinda like room mates
Despite his tragic past, Henry always puffed onward. Never giving up and learning more about life as he aged. Despite being arrogant and snarky back then, after his crash, Henry became wiser and let his walls down to let his more vulnerable sides show. Even after being replaced, Henry will never be forgotten. He's been with the team for over 21 seasons of Thomas and Friends. He's experienced the highs, the lows, and the in-between. And although he's not seen on screen that much anymore, it doesn't mean he isn't being really useful. And besides, whenever Rebecca or Gordon can't take the express, Henry will take the role for them. Henry's a role model to show engines and people that no matter what your past may have been, it's what you do with your life that makes you loved and remembered.

Plus, and I apologize for getting kinda schmaltzy here, but with Henry having troubles with his build and the way he powered through it DESPITE that (mostly in later seasons) it actually warmed my heart a bit how Henry came off as the person would probably be told he couldn't do things due to health reasons but would later go on to show he could do it DESPITE having certain issues that would otherwise be considered setbacks. And they do show him going through problems but he still pulls through. AND MATTEL THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO GET RID OF HIM!? Both he and Edward had backstories and characterization that were so well rounded but just because they were guys they dumped them? For characters who's only traits are GIRL and AFRICAN GIRL, that have NOT evolved since then? What a (train horn)-ing joke.

They should've kept Edward and Henry, and then made a side series with the new characters with occasional cameos from the steam team and I wish they moved the spotlight to other characters like Diesel 10, Donald and Douglas, Lady, and others. However, Mattel just kept pouring more salt on the wound.
I actually had a thought about the RWS' "Two Henrys" issue, and thought perhaps it was related to the Ship of Theseus thought experiment. For those who are not familiar with it, it refers to a thought experiment where a museum ship has had it's wood replaced piece by piece as various sections start to rot. Eventually every piece is replaced, begging the question, is it still the same ship? And in Henry's case, he didn't just have parts merely replaced, but was given a whole new shape until he was a literally a different engine. Perhaps the Reverend was asserting his opinion on this thought experiment and that Henry II is a different engine than Henry I despite retaining his memories and personality (how that works for engines is a whole 'nother can of worms)
0:22 He looks more like a GWR engine with that tender. Also, I may not be into Thomas anymore because I'm an adult, but I have to say I love these history videos and I'm amazed at how many revisions to all the characters there were. It's amazing that you'd never even notice the changes for the most part.
I just wanted to say something regarding the CGI era. I think people are way too harsh on it. Now please hear me out! I completely understand why people have so much love and respect for the model era. As someone who grew up with the classic Thomas, how can you not?? The models are great craftsmanship, and the sets they made and the amount of work that went into it is just outstanding. But I think that people often forget the things that CGI is able to do, that models cannot. For example: the faces finally being able to move is one improvement. As a child I always wanted to see what the faces looked like moving, and now we get to see it. Another thing that CGI can take advantage of is the camera angles and close ups you could not get with models. Think back to James' crash in TAB. It's amazing! It's gritty and really feel concerned for James. The classic era crashes could do the same, but both model and CGI can convey the emotion in their own style. In Season 20 there are so many beautiful shots of the engines and Sodor that is really trying to stay on par with what the model era did, and it really think it did it well. I am aware that the CGI era has not had the greatest run, such as the boring muddy Nitrogen animation, and the less said about BWBA the better. I just think that it shouldn't be disregarded, because it's done plenty right

What's possible loco designer for Henry (old shape)?

Given what's to come in the next season, it's not unreasonable to think that Henry, along with Edward, Boco and many others, were spared from torture.
Also, What's Rebecca's deal? Why is she a Bullied West Country class that was painted to look like a stick of rock?
I found out. In Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady, there were two times where Henry used Gordon's worried face
