I've been binge watching your back catalog. Those Mugler blurbs had me howling. Love your channel, how the hell do you only have 10,000 subs! Best fragrance content on youtube
I enjoyed your overview of BDK. Nice to cover the perfumer and his passion. I personally love Crème de Cuir from the house. Another wonderful video! Be safe! :)
I'd take Irisoir from the genius Sultan Pasha any day instead! Thank you very much from a new subscriber. Figured out the FB live notification thingy! :)
Ashfaque S. Ah, well done. I wasn’t sure how to answer you about Facebook, but I guess you just need to ‘like’ my page. I also try to give advance notice of my videos on my blog and on Instagram. Thanks so much for watching.
Thank God Dua Fragrances released a $100 clone of L'Iris de Fath. Your low cost version right there. Will arrive in the post in a few days. I'm very excited for this.
@@Persolaise Obviously I have no comparison to the original. It seems to be a scent heavily based upon Ionones (the violet kind). My guess is that they replaced the expensive Iris with that. The scent is vegetable and somewhat spicy. No sweetness at all. Its not love at first scent for me, but its unlike anything I have in my collection. The closest one I could make a comparison to is Insolence, but that one still is a far cry from the Dua.
@@stephanthienel Thanks for the write-up. Violet-like, eh? I'm not sure that aligns it very closely with the Fath, but perhaps one day we'll be able to do a side-by-side comparison.
Hi ...nice reviews. Just a suggestion - In an hour lomg video pls add supers or title cards of the fragrance your talking about as it helps if someone just wants to skip to the middle of the video. Thanks
Thank you so much, Kunal. That’s an excellent suggestion - I started adding time stamps to all my new videos a little while ago. But the older videos don’t have them.
The price of some of these luxury offerings are such a turn off to me personally. Even if i respect the scent, they way it was marketed makes me roll my eyes. I wouldn't mind sampling it though if i ever come to Paris (at Jovoy and Osmotheque i guess?). I have 1ml of a scent called Irisoir (from Sultan Pasha) which was created as a tribute to the original. Thats the closest i will ever get to Iris Gris at the moment :D
Yvana Toonen That’s really kind, thank you. And yes, I know, watching and reading are two very different experiences. At least there’s plenty of reading matter on my blog, for the times when you don’t want to spend time on UA-cam.
Thanks very much for watching.
For time stamps and the ‘blotter update’ please see the full video description above.

That’s too kind, thank you.
I guess I need to test it and see ! Thank you for your review 😊
Thanks for watching.
Iris Gris brought me here. New Sub!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy my videos.

Fantastic reviews
Fran That’s very kind, thank you 🙏
Ha! And there I was wondering the whole time- is he wearing eyemakeup? 🤓😁
Looks good by the way!
Thank you 😊
Can you compare L iris de Fath to Holy grail by Dua. It should be a clone of that.
I’m afraid I don’t know the latter.
Thanks for watching.

gunmetal24 Oooh, I don’t know Irisoir! Must try to check it out.
Thanks for watching!
Yvana Toonen I really need to check it out.
Do they mean the blue aniseed (?) sweets in the centre of licorice wheels?
Liz Seville Who knows, Liz 😊
There's no such thing as blue liquorice. File under "artistic license" please.
beftus1264 Done 😉 And, as always, thanks for watching.
Yvana Toonen Brilliant, thanks for that 😊
Yvana Toonen Wow, this is getting more interesting. Thanks very much. Mint and patchouli? 🤔
