I am obsessed with IRIS - Iris Perle is gorgeous. I love Nuee Bleue Maison Voilet, and Fleur d'iris Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier. I'm still looking for the ultimate Iris/Orris.
Hi, thank you for great reviews. Chanel No. 19 has been my number one fragrance since mid seventies. I have always been fascinated by the multiple facettes and the contradictions in this scent such as green and alluring, powerful and comforting, strong and soft...powerful and feminine ...
A great tangent is an art form, and a teacher's gift! You've got those, M. P! Hiris has been an all-time favourite of mine. I found a blue bottle of it in a shop in Porto a few months ago, I was thrilled. Thank you for a lovely list again.

Welcome back!!!!! Great video, so sorry to have missed the live. Iris Poudre has no competition in my mind, but Apres L'Ondee and Silver Mist certainly have their place on the iris throne for sure.
Beautiful round up! I love 7 of your list (Aprés, Nazarena and Iris Poudree being my most worn of those I guess) but have to admit my all time favourite iris will always be Dzongkha☺️. Also love Bois d'Iris TDC and all the powdery ones evocative of makeup. Such a multifaceted note, not two of them out there are of the same vein. Thank you for this!
This is so timely! I've been craving Iris so much lately after sampling Maison Violet's Pourpre d'Autumne. Though very feminine, a modest spray was projecting so much. So enjoyable! Got to sample some of the ones from your list. Thanks for the list!
I can’t wait to smell Silver Iris Mist! Iris Poudre is exactly that…and leaves me feeling like I’m surrounded in that particular soft purple aura. I like those Iris perfumes from Le Labo and Altalier Bloem too. Apres L’ondee…I want to smell that too. The Iris notes makes me think of the beauty of loneliness…melancholic and tragic compounded with the temporary nature of beauty. ❤️❤️❤️

I became obsessed with perfume about six months ago and realized I loved Iris when I tried a sample of Heeley Iris de Nuit one night and was blown away. I love Dior Homme Intense, but haven’t had a chance to smell the 2005 Dior Homme or the current iteration of it. I have also fallen in love with Frederic Malle L’Eau d’Hiver which I rarely hear mentioned in relation to iris, perhaps because Iris Poudree is regarded as such an important iris scent. Some other Irises that I’ve liked are Hiris and Dusita Splendiris. I have samples of Xerjof Irisss and Odori Iris 2008 on their way to me. I am so happy to have found your channel this weekend!
I'm watching your videos over and over again and I'm particularly fond of your wonderful lists - thank you very much for this joy ❤ My favourite Iris scents are Apres L'Ondee and NO 19 . Did you had the chance to try "Iris de Champs" by Houbigant? I would be very interested in your opinion 😊

Dear Persolaise, how do I know when you are doing a live video? Irises are a difficult plant to get to flower they need perfect conditions, so you’ve done well.
