I believe Messmer is channeling the Crucible through his flame. As Rellana’s Twinswords description refers to Messmer’s flame as a “Golden Flame”, when it is very obviously is red and black. And we know from the description of Ordovis’s Greatsword, that red is the primordial gold of the crucible. Not to mention Messmer’s black knights are said to use the power of the crucible. I’d also really recommend checking out last protagonists’ latest video because it backs this theory up, that Messmer is wielding the Crucible.

I think that Glintstone Nail is referring to Fingernails not Hammer Nail as it comes from line of spells known as Finger Sorceries. Also if look at the casting sigil it's most likely an artistic depicting the Two Fingers, similar to the Finger Seal but more rounded.
I don't remember exactly what language, i think it was swedish, but Scadu means Shadow and Leda means to Lead. There's also another language that changes it's means into Boredom. Make you think if Leda would betray us in the final lap or close to the final lap of the quest, because she doesn't want to follow anymore, but that just me. Edit: to add to the Black Knights of Messmer able to channel the Crucible, i think its like how the Crucible Knights are able to just grow animalistic features, like Horns or Wings, to use in battle. Since Messmer's one of the old guard, like Godfrey, its completely understandable that his army used the Crucible's might as power like how Godfrey's arny used it.

Hi Moxie! am rewatching bb lore as my conviction that shadow lands is a cuntinuation / later version of Yahargul grows; say cerulean tears are to raise insight! and crimson (red+blue) as life giving juice is a mix of them both - hexplains why only crimson is required for (physical) health; if the "golden light" of grace was life giving, then the flasks we use for reviving health should contain a yellow/golden liquid? like that amber sap dropping from the cracks in dlc shadow tree - could be some reddish yellow mix of OG tree, insight/blue + beast/blood = crimson (literal a blueish red) add yellow (lightning? alien gold?) to get that amber concoction. i am also thinking "grace" as an alien enhanced blood focus brew, probably discovered by Numen when they arrived and further hexperimented with indigenous rites and materials! am almost certain that Marika was ab-used as breeding machine to relay god babies and plotted to end this via sealing off her womb; using some alchemical mystery that the oppressors considered blasphemous and/or heretical of gold, iron and silver, am still tryna fine-tune this - but that red strike across hanging Marika is definitely symbolising a needle with a material that is ER form of kryptonite. and stopped her from making more "Empyreans" which the Elden Beast wants to change...? WHO really sent for us? all i can say that the touch of "grace" light when we start the game suspiciously looks like a drop. There's a healing item in DLC called Marika's Blessing especially made for Miquella + Lands-Between are a dream but i am not certain whos yet :)

Preface: I'm not one of your subscribers yet, so you may not care. However, this being my introduction to your content, i found it odd that you seem to think Elden ring is ripping off Zelda. The divine beasts are apart of chinese culture and have been for a long time. In fact, a lot of cultures reference beasts of many kind to be divine or some other translation of the word. Four Holy Beasts, look that up on Wikipedia. Relax. If you want to be aggravated, than you should turn that attention to the developers of Zelda who have used the same boring three cast members every game. Every. game. At least FromSoft made intense and interesting game that isn't a massive after school program for kids and incumbent (this word essentially means, pre-exisisting or pre-established) fans of the tired tropes of the Zeldaverse. If you are just gonna keep calling plagiarism or IP theft, then at least take a look at where these developers are drawing inspiration. Lore existed before the legend of Zelda, in case that wasn't clear.

ive done a lot of Zelda lore in the past-- im definitely joking mostly XD i find it funny that the very specific "messenger of the heavens" is used, to us Zelda players its like buzz words.
Because we know they played the game for only 3 hours and that the footage is very early game footage so that means we now know the Lion boss is in one of the very first main dungeons which ruins the surprise. So now going into an early game dungeon I am fully expecting the Lion boss. Having it on the thumbnail is a spoil which didn't need to happen. Some of us are trying to get zero spoils. Moxie just f'ed that up for me.
