    If you prefer non-spicy, skip the broad bean paste and use soy sauce. Enjoy 😊

    That looks amazing. It reminds me of comfort food my mom makes. Different spices, but the same vegetables and meat. She also makes it with beef ribs. I can’t wait to try this.

    I have the all the ingredients for this! I know what I’ll be making this weekend! I think I’d want 2 Tbsp of Doubanjiang! And probably with noodles. Looks amazing, thank you as always, Ling!

    I don’t know when you cooked this dish. However, I cooked Beef Stew tonight for dinner tonight - guess what I used? It was a tablespoon of Oyster Beef Sauce! I tend to use it in some of my American style cooking to add a little different flavor.
    Thanks again, Ling!

      Ah, Nikujaga, meat and potatoes. It is similar if you use soy sauce instead of doubanjiang 😊

    Looked yummy! One question? Why do you crunch peppercorn sometimes & other times like this video u use whole! Same as garlic! Just curious! Thank you as always 🙏💖👍

    • @ChineseHealthyCook
      @ChineseHealthyCook  3 роки тому

      Normally I use peppercorns in cooking and crunched peppercorns for seasoning or in a sauce without cooking.

    I noticed you never use peanut oil. I grew up only using peanut oil for chinese cooking. Is there a reason you don't? Is it bad for us?

    • @ChineseHealthyCook
      @ChineseHealthyCook  3 роки тому

      I mostly use canola oil and this year started using avocado oil. Peanut oil has more saturated fat compared to canola oil. I’m a believer of moderation. Nothing is perfect, is it? 😊
