already followed the past tutorial b4 this came out but this is def an improved guide very nice and straightforward I will revisit this if I decide to use circlepad for other games besides mario64DS. looking forward to the next vid coming out!

That is extremely odd, couldn't find anything online about this specifically and it hasn't been an issue for me at all. Could you maybe try updating Luma 3DS? 3ds.hacks.guide/restoring-updating-cfw.html
when I try to start the game with the patch I only see a white screen, without the patch it works correctly, I also have the luma updated and I have tried several regions.
@@Huros14 The only way the circle pad cheat worked for me was to enable the widescreen hack. So I have to uninstall and then reinstall Luma to get the circle pad cheat to work without widescreen having to always have the widescreen hack enabled?

My OG blue 3DS lost its circle pad, but I purchased a galaxy 3DS when I was 11 in 2017 and it still works great.

there is a widescreen patch that can be used on any game running on twighlightmenu ++

I think the Luma version you’re on is slightly out of date
Still pretty much the same process all around. I don't think it matters much if you had the old version of Luma.
