Let"s Quickly Talk About Drop Pitman Arm and Track Bar Drops

I wanted to quickly discuss the why and why not drop the pitman arm and the track bar on your vehicle. Also what to avoid doing when it come to this. Keep in mind that this is a very brief explanation. If you want me to make a more in-depth video let me know or we can discuss it in the comments.

Yes, keep in mind the steeper the angle the more the axel will shift to the side as it drops. When they are the same it will keep you from having bump steer and binding issues in the steering.

@@XtremeTruckAuto so why wouldn’t someone just get an adjustable track bar to maintain proper angle? Isn’t that better than drop pitman arm and track bar drop bracket? Or which route is better?

@@gersonruiz1714 I had planned on doing an axel swap and moving the track bare higher on the new axels I was looking at. But, it fell though. So yes, an adjustable track bar is the best option.
The key is to keep them the same angle. Technically you would need a drop pitman and a track bar relocation. Not just one or the other.
I would recommend that you just do the adjustable track bar only and forgo all the other options.
