Lee, you really should de-activate the coordinates feature on your dash cam. For your own privacy and safety and the privacy and safety of the people you make deals with. I'd love to have that Camaro here. As is, it'd sell for at least ten times the price you got it for! Cheers from Argentina.
You need a nother car for parts but knowing you will fix it compared to the other car you did th this car is a peice of cake to fix. Red Winstead from Mississippi ❤❤❤❤
You are amazing with doing those cars cheap. I like your tips on saving money some of the most because I spend money on this stuff. That Camaro is worth it unless it is hot. Probably an abandoned rusted out car they took the engine and transmission out of for a different car. Yes, decent value in parts all around nice snag. It needs a lot of metal work but body wise it is there. Good ones go for about 10k up north, a really nice one 14k, rough ones 1-3k. A 70’s Camaro has about twice the value of an 80’s Camaro. You could make money on it with metal work, budget build and paint. It would be a lot of work or just a car to have picked apart at some point for parts. A 70’s Camaro is valued and probably will go up more, I liked them, had some friends that owned them, they were really nice cars, cheap excitement for the amount you paid for a used one back then. Cool car you picked up.
Charity begins at home and you just gave that guy some there is nothing left of that car it makes me feel good i thought my stuff was rough have a blessed thanksgiving day
@cuanbarlow2323 $300 buks for a parts car today especially one that tons of guy's build and is desirable is definitely a score, it's got fenders, doors, rear spoiler, rear end,, glass and a million other little parts/bolts that some one will need/use,,yea I say $300 is a fu#$ score
It’s an old Chevy and a Camaro on top of that. Somebody is gonna go nuts for it. I say fix it back and flip it. Put one of those modern alphabet engines in it {ls 1,2 3,etc}. Go for it !
Its the transformers movie car.when you remove the junk out of it youl start to see a car and you may appreciate it lol.they make every body floor pan patch panel for it cheap.its worth it.peace
Yeah Lee, even l have to throw in the towel on that one, that's a long long long term project. That hood scoop used to be sold in the magazines as an 'L88 scoop ' always liked the look of them.
I would definitely restore the Camaro. It's have a VIN number, you can get a title. It would be a good video series of its resto. I'm bringing a burnt out 1977 Trans Am Hurst targa in the next few weeks. It need lots of work, but it's worth it.
@clunkersandclassics here in England the worst bags of crap fetch silly money, and good ones as you can imagine are just so out of reach they may as well be Ferraris lol Here in the UK you'd be a millionaire
My brother found a Milwaukee Sawzall laying in the road the other day with a fully charged battery I've had it for 6 months so I decided to buy us a battery charger for it that thing Cuts great
Hi Lee thanks for the video I agree with you it's really not worth fixing it up it would take thousands of dollars to even make it road worthy, good parts car. Take care
I've been obsessed with 2nd gen f bodies since l was a toddler, so ignore anything l say because l can't be impartial here even if I tried. But I'm screaming gem But I'm biased
Dang Lee! You cut straighter with one hand than I do with 2! The Camaro is way too far gone. Parts car. The tail light might be the most expensive part on the car! Back then, didn't the change the taillights every year?
I would keep it around as a parts car. Maybe you’ll find a better candidate from that generation down the road that’s worth fixing up. That one is missing too much and she’s roached. It won’t be worth that much (imo) to put in quarters, a floor and trunk pan and work over that body.
It not a pile of shit it's a gem and beautiful car!! If u put the time in too it you can sell it for more thsn u put into it if u fix it just enough to get it running and driving u can sell for max or more 15k
Looks like a 77 Z28. My buddy had a canary yellow Z28. And if I m not mistaken if it's original color is yellow Down deep I do believe that color code was only optioned in the Z28. Her former glory might have been a Z28. Mind you the 77 Z28 was purely a graphics package. Because the Camaro line walked away from Z28s for a few yrs till 77 when they were reintroduced. But again it would be appearance packaging not much else.
I once went to see an old school friend after he relocated, as l got into the village where he lived l saw a what looked like a cool 73/74 ish charger, as l pulled up expecting to admire it l suddenly saw it had been brush painted in much the same way. I guess once upon a time even mopars weren't safe from the Sunday afternoon paintbrush do over 😂
I would pull whats worth anything off of it and scrap the leftovers! What are scrap prices in your area? I was going to scrap my Moms worn out 2005 Chrysler mini van and they told me $125 if i drove it in! Lol I would rather let it rot in my driveway then sell it for that. We have to have a title or release of interest here or our yards wont touch them but im on the west coast.
@clunkersandclassics I like it too I thought it was clean and clear you can understand and see well, even the rearview camera looked clear, I just said I wouldn't buy it from them because the way they did you wrong with your introduction video...
As far as I can see. It could make a fun dirt road beater. Needs windshield. Fiberglass repair on front end. Cut roofs off old scrapers and patch up floor. Find a motor and trans from your junkers. The paint kind of looks cool. Call it the 1000 dollar budget build. Show the world it can be done. But please don't do a fifty five episode resto. 👍👍✌️🇬🇧
@clunkersandclassics dude you got junk all around you and your so old you'll never have a real car because you buy junk. That will be your legacy, im sorry bro. I have 2 old cars, and I focused on 1 till it was done and focused on the other till it was done. Your a horder, overgrown grass around you. Different strokes for different folks
@@paulieramos Like I said, you must be new here. I have about 20 cars that are restored enough to drive across country and are painted and are worth way more than I put into them. My average cost is about $2500 a car. This car would be no different.
My sister used to have a '77 Camaro she bought new. I used to love that car. New subscriber.

I promise I am looking forward to the videos on this!
Rebuild the car it looks pretty good ❤❤❤❤
Whoever painted this was 80s inspired from the trans am in the wraith movie and I love it ❤❤too bad the car is in such rough shape 😢
Love to see you fix this up!
It better that I see in the northeast

Ultimate rebuilds works magic with fiberglass on plastic interior panels.
go on lee i want to see this car rebuilt and back on the road with your magic touch to it
Get a windshield first thing
My first car was a 76, I'd LOVE to find another to rebuild.
I feel you mate. My first American car was a 74 Firebird
They're out there!
@@clunkersandclassics Yeah I know, just finding one I can afford that actually is in good enough shape to rebuild

Make it into a NASCAR Replica build roll-bar no interior needed!
Man it’s a tough call, she looks saveable but is it worth the time, work and $ to bring her back? I don’t know 😁.
we'll see
Man.. even for someone looking for a project... I think it's a bit much.. It'd be a labor of love.
it needs a parts car to make it worthwhile
He bout squeezed every drop a juice out that lemon.
I didn't think cars rotted out like that down there ! They do up here in the salt belt 🤪
it's from water collecting in it for decades. No salt here.
That hood looks like a 80-81 Z28 hood
Lee save that steering wheel.
part it out ....its a real gem....lol
Nice Classic Camaro !! So glad you saved it , at least it has a better life now
Not sure about that, it may end up like the Malibu beside it.

Would be a fun project 👍
Go for it.fix it up..You got lots of metal laying around.😮 all you have to do is patch the floor & all
Turn it into a drag car.
I wish it was more solid would have been a cool project
Imo 300$ was a really good deal
Park it next to the stuff you want to sell off when people see the difference they might appreciate the time and energy you take.

I think 74-77 are the same
It’s going to be cold this time of year are you going to work on it inside of your shop ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
it doesn't get that cold here
Jesus man, that was an act of charity giving that dude $300 for that pile of sh!t.
As you say the subframe is the saver.
He was down to weenies and beans and had no shirt.

he has $300 now, he can afford a goodwill tuxedo!
Or he could buy a real nice tent to live in.@@clunkersandclassics
Turn it into a hobby stock dirt car. Sell or race it.

Part it out

If it was a split bumper I could see fixing it up but not many like that year Camaro I would part it out for another car 😅
I wish you would save the 1967 & 1968 Firebirds like hotrod jesus saves trifi's.
I would if I could find them cheap!
You don’t see a lot of the 75-77 Camaros but they also don’t seem to bring much
There's a lot around here
77 is a yff front suspension like on 77 bandit Trans am. Worth 2500 dollars. The best, 77-81

it's not getting scrapped for peanuts.
👍👍👍
use it for parts only count the bolts on the rear end 10 bolt if a 12 bolt it could be posi rear end
A posi would likely have a tag either way, but I don't think these ever came with 12 bolts, too small of a car , could be wrong of course
they made a 10 bolt posi
Full floor pan is $600. With your resto magic it could be a $10,000 car again.
after I put $10k in it..lol
@clunkersandclassics surely you could do it cheaper?
It’s a parts car. Agreed not worth all the work it would take Lee. Thanks for sharing. 💯👍
Don't listen to this guy. Likely too afraid to do any work himself.
Build the car.
It would make a good parts car or drag car. $300 is prettymuch the same as free
Part's car Lee 👍,.
He just got it 9 days ago to. I would try to before he starts parting it out.

Since the thumbnail and video heading says $300, we'll go with that.
Is that a Camaro RS?!
It'll be a Z28 when I'm done with it.
