Good stuff my man! Keep 'em coming...helping lots of folks out there. Having bought a '68 Ford F-100 almost two years ago, I can say that it was 90% done. The ONLY thing that can be. a pain is when the vehicle has something not stock like the engine. When I have to get parts, I can't just lookup my vehicle/engine as it never existed. So even simple things like a rad hose can be difficult to track down! Some nice cars there too!
Actually the number one killer of car building to me is BAD SHOPS. There was a time before 2020 you actually got decent to good work done. Today a lot of the good guys have passed on. I have a few cars and in the last 5 years been royally screwed over by pretty much all of the shops they been to. Specifically the Body And Paint guys. Taking deposits. Taking the car apart and simply not working on it again. I have heard so many horror stories. It’s insane. I’m 1000% you the reader can relate.
Nice video! Your videos are very enjoyable. I completely agree with you. I own 68 short c10 that is mechanically sound running project and 67 Camaro that was suppose to be built by family friend into pro-touring car that i've owned for 20+ years. Driving c10 even though needs paint always a great time. The Camaro on the other hand has been at a shop for 7+years with tons of expensive boxes/parts collecting dust and nothing but excuses from the shop owner. Sadly, now its becoming struggle to even get my project and parts back.... I was happy to see the shop off the freeway when I moved to North Sac. I remember seeing your cars at GG show in Pleasanton few years back.
