- I finally got my Ford Focus RS tuned for 93 Octane by Adam at TunePlus Inc. and it makes so much power now! After the 93 Octane tune is dialed in we are tuning for ethanol, E30 to be exact! How fast can we get this Focus RS on the stock turbo...

After watching your pulls , I'm so glad I bought the ford fiesta st instead.. stage 2 the would scare you...I almost fell asleep watching yours.
Data log the RS in Sport or Track mode with ESC off for the best results.

Just a tip the focus rs loves high rev range if you have to floor it from 2500rpm its gonna take a second for the turbo to spool and its also goning to have a higher possibility to have Low speed pre ignition drop it a gear lower 😉

Focus RS is front wheel bias so either put it on sport or drift for awd
Be careful they are known to blow factory rods once tuned, ive seen it to many times.

Those NGK 7IX-11's come pregapped at like .035 or a little higher, and most forums (and myself) report better idle and overall better performance when gapped to around .026 - .027.
They are sent to TunePlus and then they pregap them to their specs. I am not sure of the spec but they are gapped to what TunePlus recommends

Don't you need a special tool to gap iridium plugs because of how brittle they are?
@Caleb Eckenrode I just use your typical, run of the mill spark plug gapping tools. I've gapped it like this myself for about 50k miles now and haven't had any issues.
Now get that boost cranked up and retune it bud, then she’ll really rip!
Did your tuner say how much the factory ecm will allow you to turn up the boost? I’m sure your limited with a stock head gasket and head bolts, going E85 would help a lot with detonation. She will run much better on E85 if you ever go that route.🤘
The boost is turned up and tuned for 93 Octane at the moment. The limit is the stock turbo can only make so much boost so anything over E30 won’t be much of an improvement unless I install an upgraded turbo and fuel pump. But to make real power I’d have to start doing internals which I rather build a V8 if I’m in that much money.
Ya, Ford used a pretty small turbo on them for efficiency. How much boost does it run in the new tune?
